The Same Scale as God
Prophetic voices are voices that speak on the same scale God is speaking on. We should be speaking the heart of God which brings about those things which man cannot accomplish. If we speak for God we speak in “giant” language, not “ant” language like those who have adapted their thinking to the present world system (Rom.12:2). In many cases we have learned to talk like the Egyptians and the
Babylonians whose gods had moral shortcomings and fickle emotions like the people who served them.
Early in the twentieth century aged plodders were still plowing with mules while young women were flying solo coast to coast. The aged plodders were using language like “plow”, “mule”, “harness”, “one acre”, “man wasn’t meant to fly”; and young women were using language like “magneto”, “propeller”, “rudder”, “elevator”, “altitude, “three thousand miles” – words the old plodders could not even define. The old plowmen would hold tightly to their plows, look up at the new-fangled flying machines and sadly shake their heads at what they perceived was utter nonsense. Prophetic voices have God’s perspective on what is and what shall be and refuse to be bound by the limitations of the poverty of the human experience. The only word God will get into agreement with is His Word which is more than adequate in any age. (Marty will be speaking at DVP2018 Sept.14-16)

Prophetic Lifestyle For Today
The prophetic lifestyle opens opportunities, timing, and connections. Opportunities: having the ears to hear to be at the right place at the right time for yourself and others. Timing: none of us understand the tim- ing of God because He is working on so many levels. It takes a prophetic lifestyle to see beyond the limited vision of our normal dimensions. It can keep you sane where timing is concerned. Connection: Brings lives together for God team-ups, projects, events, etc. We were never meant to do life alone (1 Corinthians 12:20-21). In this day and age, this way of life is a total necessity for the body of Christ.—Melissa Gabler (Melissa will be speaking and leading worship at Dreams Visions Prophecy 2018 Sept.14-16.) The Dream Tool
I know many religious people put dreams and visions and prophecy in the category with fortune tellers and witches and psychics. However, it was God that gave man the dream tool and it was God who promised to pour out His Spirit with dreams and visions and prophecy following. Several times in both the Old and New Testament, God communicated His plans, instructions and insights through dreams, visions, prophetic words and supernatural experiences. And there are numerous biographies of godly men and women with such experiences throughout history since the New Testament times. If we throw away the real with the counterfeit or throw away all truth because some truth has been abused, we are robbing ourselves.—(Kathy Gabler)

More Desirable Than Gold
As the people of God assemble today may they release a united hunger for the Truth of God’s Word and hungrily eat it as a hungry man would eat honey. And may the Word nourish them and heal them of all their ills, both physical and spiritual. “More to be desired are they than gold, even than much fine gold; they are sweeter also than honey and drippings from the honeycomb.” (Ps.19:10, Amp)

Five Facts
Five Facts
This is the day the Lord has made so…
I will rejoice and be glad and be assured in emphasizing these 5 facts:
1. THE Lord (the Lord above all lords) is my Shepherd
2. the LORD (“Yehovah” – “the existing One”) is my Shepherd
3. the Lord IS (now, in these circumstances and this day) my Shepherd
4. the Lord is MY (not just my momma’s and my preacher’s) Shepherd
5. the Lord is my SHEPHERD (provides for and guides me because I am His) * (Ps.23:1)

Until We Come To The Measure
May the Lord put in you the worshiping, warring heart of David; may He put in you the determinate fortitude of Daniel; may He put in you the wisdom of Solomon; may He stir in you the loving loyalty of
John and may He put in you the compassionate, selfless, mission-accomplishing heart of His Son. May the Lord bring a parting of ways with people, thoughts and actions what would prevent those values and qualities from rising to the top and may He bring to you His ordained, Scriptural relationships that would build-in and re-enforce them — “until we come to the measure and stature of Christ” (Eph.4:11-16).

Going Out Among Them
No doubt some of the distressed, heart-broken and captives will be ministered to as we gather for worship for that is when “God sits down among his people” (Ps. 22:3). And you can count on the fact that when God Sits down among his people something will happen! But most of those who will be ministered to by this fellowship of believers will first be ministered to by those of us who come to worship, receive encouragement from the Word, are edified and then go out among them and allow what God has done in our lives to touch their lives.

Truth Contradicts the Snakes
Protesting is getting louder and nastier but the truth still contradicts those who despise it. The truth will never go away and it will never be compromised. Truth will never be put on the auction block. The longer the representatives of God’s truth stand in “Pharaoh’s court” and speak truth, the greater the number of “snakes” will manifest themselves. But God’s rod in Aaron’s hand swallowed up Pharaoh’s undesirable, intimidating snakes. (Ex.7:8-12 and Matt.10:26) We will see even more and nastier snakes manifest before all this is over. But they must manifest before they are swallowed up in authoritative truth.

September is For Hearing God
The month of SEPTEMBER IS FOR HEARING GOD in moments and in settings we have not cognizantly expected to hear Him in in the past. We shall hear Him and know how to best relate to people, know which path to take and be able to discern the times that we may act expeditiously. “If you go the wrong way—to the right or to the left—you will hear a voice behind you. It will say, ‘This is the right way. You should go this way.’” (Isa.30:21, ICB)

If It Can Be Shaken
God promises to shake everything that can be shaken. It is His solemn word and something that He will not do half-heartedly. We have an unshakeable kingdom because we have an unchanging Person,
Jesus. The religious systems and practices of the church are being shaken. The kingdom cannot be shaken. The authority and power of God to act sovereignly through His people cannot be shaken. His truths and redemptive government that releases the captive cannot be shaken. But the systems of misbelief and the systems that sustain the agendas of men are most definitely being shaken. (Heb.12:27)

His Sufficiency Overwhelming My Insufficiency
“I didn’t feel near this good when I got here!” Haven’t you heard someone say that just after a worship service where it seemed as though the joyful bliss of heaven touched the pain of present earth for a couple of hours? Normally when I have felt like that was after an evening of being in the presence of God, lost in his loving touch. Though I was in the middle of a crowd of people who were
appreciating his divine presence, I was not cognizant of their praises, their position or their voices. On one such an occasion, in a home Bible study, about twenty of us had been standing in a circle, holding hands and offering up worship and prayer at the end of the teaching period. Suddenly, as I was releasing praises of adoration, proclaiming the character and attributes of Father God, I realized who and what I was before the awesomeness of God. Forty-five minutes later, while on my face in the middle of the room, I suddenly became aware of the others who were present that night. But for forty-five minutes the praises of God witnessed to my heart my great need for God on that particular night. I realized that for all I wasn’t, and that for all I lacked, God was sufficient. At that very moment, though it had been a long and trying week, I was rested from the weariness and apprehension that had beset me because I was insufficient for all the requirements upon me.

Planning With the Coming Generation
I hold no sentiment whatsoever that Christians shouldn’t be involved in politics; in fact, I believe just the opposite. We know, and have ministered to, awesome men and women of God who are
impacting politicians and legislation for the righteous purposes of God in this nation. Christians should be in leadership positions in every arena that molds the minds of society. We are presently living in the mire of the opposite view that has reigned in religious circles and is directly accountable for the fact that so few of the coming generation are supported (with encouragement, mentoring and finances) to take those fields of endeavor–while other religions and philosophies started preparing and strategically placing their coming generations 100 years ago. BUT the tide is turning. Joseph, Daniel, Esther arise, your forebears repent and synergistically run with you!

Is God Worthy or Just Handy?
There will probably always be someone with the attitude of “Hello, Lord, my name’s Jimmy and I’ll take all you gimme.” Perhaps we should stop occasionally and ask ourselves, “Do my life and words show that I view God Almighty as One Who is worthy or do I view Him as One Who is just a great resource?” There are no lines in the age to come where people stand patiently for God to hand out
“blessings,” for the sole occupation of EVERYONE in that age is BLESSING GOD. Consider Revelation 19 “I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God” (v.1). “And they cried: Amen, Hallelujah!” (v.4). “Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!” (v. 6-7) So, it is not that I shall be silent in my waiting for God to “bless” ME but it is that I shall raise my voice, my hands, my instrument to proclaim blessing to HIM who has chosen me!

For The Praise
If some were asked why they attended church services, their response would be something like, “I go to receive a blessing” and then they very probably sit patiently on the bench until a preacher or
someone actively involved in the service can “move” them so that they have received their “blessing.”
It is true that God enjoys “blessing” his people by doing things for them that edify and release them both in their inner man and in their physical man. However, sufficient Scripture cannot be found that would show that God “blessing” people is why he created them.
In fact, Scripture lays out quite a different scenario. After a command in Psalm 149 to “Praise the Lord” and to “Sing to the Lord a new song,” there is also the encouragement for Israel (the “blessed” people of God) to “rejoice, be glad, praise, dance, and make music… for the Lord takes delight in his people.” Paul joins the effort by proclaiming in Ephesians 1:11-12 that “In him we were also chosen.… in order that we…. might be for the praise of his glory.”

Everything That Hath Breath
With a strong German accent my Grandfather would quote Psalm 150:6, “Let everyting dat hat bret praise da Lordt. Praise ye da Lordt.” From the time that I was a small child until I was fourteen he would begin a testimony (every Sunday night) with that verse and always, as he wept, end with “Godt is love.”
Exuberance and love for the Lord didn’t just have its place in religious services. Though his praises may have been more readily noticeable during worship service, my Grandfather’s worship was a
lifestyle lived out before the world. When I was fourteen he passed this life to join the worshipers about the throne of God. I recall being amazed at the number of neighbors and business people from the community who were present at the funeral. Here was a man whose light shined, not just for church people to see, but genuinely for all to see, whether at worship, work, or just visiting throughout the community.
Pop Gabler was a praiser and worshiper of the first order. He actually believed and practiced the verses he so enthusiastically voiced. He actually believed that “EVERYTHING that hath breath” was to praise the Lord. There was always room in the Lord’s house, around the Lord’s table, in Pop Gabler’s home for anyone no matter what their background, their theology or their sin.
Love of God was readily expressed in the form of hospitality, patience, acceptance for “everything that hath breath”. If an alcoholic or prostitute wanted to come into our church, sit next to him and sing the songs of the faith and worship with us according to our form of worship, he welcomed them in the name of the Lord.
At the time of his passing, many from many walks of life, destitute to wealthy, sinner to saint voiced testimony that their lives had been touched by God through his acceptance of them. For the first time in my life I realized that it was possible for EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH to praise the Lord and I determined in my heart to be careful not to discourage “everything that hath breath” from praising the Lord.
The emphasis is not, “Am I worthy of God?” Rather, the emphasis is: God is worthy of ALL PRAISE. “All you have made will praise you, O Lord” (Ps. 145:10).

Let Hope Arise
As the people of God assemble today, may hope arise within the hearts of the weary ones and may dreams be revived in the lives of the discouraged ones, and may they lift their hands and declare on clear voices that our God does not forget His covenant or His mercies to a thousand generations. “The LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not abandon you, destroy you, or forget the promise to your ancestors that he swore he would keep.” (Deut.4:31, GW)

Praising Alone and With Others
David didn’t require being with a group but praised God even while alone. He probably did more praising alone than he did in religious gatherings. “By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me – a prayer to the God of my life” (Ps. 42:8). Yet, he was just as ready to praise God along with others; “I will declare your name to my brothers; in the congregation I will praise you” (Ps. 22:22). David, obviously, was not one of those persons who went around saying, “God knows what’s in my heart”. What was in his heart found outward expression both alone and with others.

The Rule of God Will Finish
A powerful, determined king could not destroy the baby Jesus. When thousands of babies had been slaughtered, the king’s powerful reach could not touch baby Jesus (Matt.2:16). So powerfully, so
authoritatively was this world system invaded that it could not touch even one tiny baby who was foreordained to be the embodiment of the advancing Kingdom of God in this earth (compare Mk.2:12). Rome had conquered the world but it didn’t know what to do with a carpenter from Nazareth (Lk.23:4). He walked about freely demonstrating the Kingdom of God (Lk.11:20). He confounded the proponents of false religion (Matt.12:2-5, 24-28). They set a guard on His tomb but could not prevent the invigorating power of the rule of God over death nor could they prevent Jehovah-Sabaoth’s messenger from rolling back the sealed tombstone. The rule and authority of God to finish what He started is unstoppable.

Heart and Soul Praising God
After a time of worship alone on the hillside, David’s praises, and prayers, were to be heard publicly. They blessed those who heard them and who joined in the voicing of them. Perhaps the greatest
blessing to others was the recognition of the relationship that existed between God and a true worshiper. Parrots are cute when they mimic but are not necessarily a blessing. Though David’s praises and prayers contained adjectives and descriptions of God learned from youth, he still put heart and soul into praising the Lord who is “my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold” (Ps. 18:1-2).

Soul, Bless the Lord
Though supplication through prayer, making one’s needs known before God, was zealously taught David from the time he was a small child, David made his praises primary. It is apparent David sought God that he might know Him, while many were and are now seeking God only as a means to an end. If we had a recorder going 24/7, we might find it very interesting to hear the high percentage of pleas, requests and demands we make of God Almighty, as compared to the percentage of time spent in praise. “BLESS THE LORD, O MY SOUL,” the Psalmist cries. This is not a cry for assistance or “blessing” for he has not pleaded, “Bless my soul, Lord,“ but rather proclaimed, “Bless the Lord!” (Psalm 104:1) “…the Father seeks such people to be His worshipers.” (Jn.4:23b, Amp)

Returning to Fellowship
As the people of God assemble today, may there be faith stirred in hearts concerning those who have been absented from the local fellowship. May there be expectancy that they be returned to the fellowship to edify and, once again, take their place on the wall. “May the Lord watch between you and me when we are absent and hidden one from another.” (GEN. 31:49, Amp)

Set a Guard on my Mouth
Let us be careful what we say. The Lord doesn’t want what we speak falling to the ground. (1Sam.3:19) “Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.”Ps. 141:3, Amp)
