Do you Really Have to Live With It?
Have you ever heard people talk like they expected to live in bad health, like it is just something people must deal with? Do you believe you must wrestle with the same old physical issues your parents died with? We do not have to yield to those things and there is no law that says a person must die sick. Wholeness is part of the salvation we have available in Christ Jesus. May you exert energy just because you want to delight yourself in the Lord Who is your wholeness and strength. May family and friends speak of your good health from this day forward. (Prov.3:8, Msg) “Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!” We are praying you discover daily that you are blessed with life and health.

You Decide Rules of Engagement
(Kathy G.) More keys we can take from Jesus’ wilderness example. 3) Don’t be baited to prove your worth. Don’t even be baited to doubt it. The fact that Jesus died for you shuts out doubt and question of worth. Many wars are won at the point that doubt is kicked out. 4) Don’t let the enemy decide the rules of engagement in the wilderness. That means don’t jump when he says, “Frog.” In fact, sons don’t talk to snakes, they stomp them.

Live with Different Results
In time to come, may you live differently with different results than you have lived in times past. May your home and work be filled with different conversation in times to come because you are no longer discussing threats and defeats but hopes and victories. May your home be fuller of the things you have needed, full of evidences of victories and full of love. May it be full of the language of prosperity. May the months ahead look totally different as you look back on them. May they have the look of answers, resolve and fulfillment. (3Jn.1:2, NASB) “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” We are praying you discover daily that you and your family are prospering in God’s will.

Teachers of What is Right and Noble
May the Lord Most High keep His powerful hand upon our school teachers in this coming year. May He minister to them their importance in our culture and bless them for giving of themselves to our children. May He protect them and make them righteously effective beyond all logical measures for the children’s future and the future of our nation.

Led out of the Wilderness
(Kathy G.) I believe the reason Jesus was led into the wilderness was because He was the prototype for wilderness training. He went there as a son and left there as a son, and there’s no indication it took a long time in between! Some keys we can take from His wilderness example will equip us: 1) It is difficult to be led by one thing while dominated by another. So when you are in wilderness circumstances, don’t allow an orphan spirit or rebellious spirit to dominate your thinking. Father will always see to it that sons “are led by the Spirit” out of wildernesses to fulfillment and glory, but orphans and rebels are not thinking like sons and do not know how to be led of His Spirit.

Sprout out on Every Branch
May you sprout out on every branch and may every bloom become valuable fruit. May you labor under and rejoice and revel in awesome, excruciating
growing pains that bring you to the height of your Lord’s expectations for you. No more withering, no more stunted growth but God-enabled enlargement, production, extension, multiplication and proliferation be unto you for the glory and the Name’s sake of our LORD JESUS CHRIST and His fame in the earth. May our Lord’s success be manifest through you like a vine that bears fruit. (Jn.15:2, NKJV) ”Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” We are praying you discover daily God’s fruitfulness in your life.

The Wilderness and Sabotage
(Kathy G.) Though Satan could not sabotage The Only Begotten Son’s relationship with Father, he obviously hasn’t quit trying to sabotage sons of God. It gives us an edge to realize that devils are not geniuses nor mind-readers, but they can smell “wilderness” on us. Sons are most vulnerable to be
devoured when they are in a wilderness condition. We are simply more easily shaken when we are in a wilderness place of feeling desolation, loneliness, abandonment, confusion, oppression and depression. The wilderness is a low place with no way out, a smothering place with no wind of change or breath of hope stirring. The issues of our own soul usually drive us into wilderness conditions, but Jesus was led by the Spirit into His wilderness experience. That indicates some wildernesses are God plans for the process, but whatever the drive or draw, wilderness times are part of the process of moving “from glory to glory.” The good news is that Father intends they work out for our good. As mature sons, we can be confident that coming to glory means coming to a God outcome, and it is Father’s will that wildernesses end up positioning and changing us to fit promise and be equipped for purpose.

Back-handed Accusations
(Kathy G.) The reason the Father/son relationship is pivotal is because that relationship provides what every son needs to function effectually in their lifetime. These function essentials are spelled out in Romans 8– 1) the strength of identity, 2) the empowerment of affirmation and 3) the protection of boundaries built into relationship. Our adversary knows this and consistently targets the Father/Son relationship and attempts to make you feel de-sonned or de-daughtered. Every temptation that the devil threw at Old Testament Adam in the garden and then at New Testament Adam in the wilderness was an attempt to sabotage the Father/Son relationship. He used doubt to knock on the door of their minds and then demanded they take action to prove him wrong. The doubts were back-handed accusations concerning God’s motive or commitment or planning. The doubts and accusation were aimed at causing friction and distrust between Father and son.

The Lord my Keeper
The Lord God is our keeper. He keeps us in the palm of His hand and watches over us daily. We can trust Jesus, our Good Shepherd, to take note of His sheep in very practical matters. May the Lord help and protect you to keep your confidential matters confidential. May the Lord keep your passwords, emails, FaceBook, webpages and bank accounts secure. May those who would attempt to say things to your detriment be checked by the Spirit of the Lord, lest they hinder your righteous progress. May the Lord rebuke the devourer in your behalf. (Isa.33:6, Msg) “God keeps your days stable and secure—salvation, wisdom, and knowledge in surplus, and best of all, Zion’s treasure, Fear-of-God.” We are praying you discover daily that the Good Shepherd is keeping you.

Extreme Opposition
(Kathy G.) God has always intended to bring sons to glory, not cherubs. Father’s design is this: Father – Sons – Glory. Satan audaciously tried to share God’s glory and he failed. He has since been on a mission of revenge with full intent to thwart the glory by taking sons out of Father’s design equation. This might answer questions you have about experiences where opposition continued to unexplainable extremes, perhaps to the point of people saying, “The devil must be scared of you!” It is true. The devil is afraid that you will BE a son of God who does what you were born to DO and thereby be one of the many sons Father brings to glory.

Glory of God in the Forefront
Let’s get down to some ground–level grit. It is God that brings (leads, influences, carries, persuades) sons to glory. The sons’ part is to overcome through the process of getting there. Opposition is anything that contradicts the Word, will or character of God in our lives. In John 14:30, Jesus pointed out one major source of opposition was “the ruler of this world.” Your adversary, the devil, will oppose you continually. Though the glory of God may have never been in the forefront of your thinking before now, it has been number one priority with the devil all along. He is afraid you will do what you were born to do.

God’s Supremacy Working
In the Bible the LION could not prosper against David because David kept God in the supreme position in his life, in his thoughts, and in his consideration. The BEAR could not prosper against David because of the supremacy of God in David’s life. The GIANT could not prosper against David even though he came against David with the deadliest of weapons. KING Saul could not prosper against David even though he was conniving and had supreme authority in the land. God’s supremacy was far greater than all of them. (Ps.74:12, NASB) “Yet God is my king from of old, Who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth.” We are praying that no matter what the opposition, you discover daily God’s supremacy working in you and in your behalf.

The Sonship Priority
(Kathy G.) We cannot lose sight of the “sonship” priority during the process. Religions and cultures and philosophies can train people to be good and do good stuff without being a son, but if you put that kind of regimen without relationship in a bowl and add a lifetime of effort and consistency and sacrifice, you will still come up short of the glory of God. If our identity gets attached to our works and then accomplishments become the measure of our worth and merit, (instead of righteousness being a gift from God), we fall short of the glory of God. Bringing sons to glory pivots on the Father-son relationship, not regimen and rules and works.

Where are you going to stand? Will you stand with the national news broadcasts or with reports of demographics or with unrighteous legislation or, in spite of it all, will you stand on God’s Word? Every night before retiring, we might should sing the words of that song, “Whose report will you believe? We will believe the report of the Lord!” We are not subject to rumors, corruption and terrorists. We are subject to the Word of God if we will agree with it. God’s Original Intent
(Kathy G.) Rom 8:23, but we ourselves groan inwardly as we wait for redemption which will reveal our adoption, our manifestation as God’s sons. Some
people misunderstand that “groan” for redemption as a groan to escape somewhere over the rainbow someday, but we weren’t born here to live our years yearning to get out of here. We were born to display Father’s glory. According to Romans 5:2, “bringing sons to glory” is a matter of Father leading, influencing, carrying and persuading mature sons, who bear the likeness of Christ, to do what they were born to do according to Father’s design and intent. Relationship and having sons is God’s Original Intent, and bringing sons to glory is priority with our Father. The process to that priority is in 2 Cor 3:18, as we consider who He is and reflect and pattern after Him as we are changed into the same image from glory to glory. It is by His Spirit that we are enabled to change and be and do what we were born to in our lifetime.

May the Lord Walk Through Your Walls of Opposition
As the people of God assemble today, may the Lord walk through walls of opposition, walls of impossibility, walls individuals have built between themselves and other members of the body of Christ. May He miraculously walk through every barrier into our midst today so that He might release in us and through us His peace, gifts and redemptive power.
“That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.” (Jn.20:19, NLT)

August-The Month of Moving Forward

August is the month of moving forward. May you move away from that which has been nonproductive. May you move away from those things which have weighted you down and may you move into the promises of God which have eluded you to date.
”Let us go forward! And this is what we will do, if God allows.” (Heb.6:3, GNT)

What Kind of man is This?
(Kathy G.) They said of Jesus: “What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?” (Mt.8:27) This is the kind of man that exemplifies a son that creation groans for, the kind of man that believes God delegated authority to mankind in Genesis that is still in effect. Jesus lived as the kind of man that would overcome opposing circumstances and even natural boundaries to bring circumstances into alignment with God’s will, the kind of son who does what he sees the Father doing. We can do this. Dominion is doable.

Sons of the King are Present
The King is on His heavenly throne but His sons, who are endued with His authority and enablements, are in the middle of the fracas bringing His light and demonstrating His power and government over the causes of groaning wherever they encounter them.

Wisdom out of Dark Hours
It appeared on more than one occasion that Joseph would not finish his course. Power-people seemed to step in his way around every other corner.
Yet, being sold for a slave was one of the steps that assured Joseph would get where he was supposed to be, when he was supposed to be there. (Gen.50:20) The trying worked out some things in Joseph that he couldn’t take with him to the palace. In the dark hours and the obscure places, he gained godly wisdom that would soon be in demand. (Jer.15:11a) “I will make you strong in these trying times to accomplish My good.” We are praying you discover daily God’s timing keeping you on course in your life to accomplish His good.

Answering the Groaning
Sons of the Kingdom become the answer to the groaning of creation which we read about in the book of Romans (8:19,22). In the original language, groaning creation is pictured in such a way that it is expectantly stretching the neck to glimpse that which is beyond itself and beyond its present plight. That which creation is stretching its neck to see, or those who it is stretching its neck to see, are their hope of lifting them out of their plight.
