Prophetic Lifestyle for All Believers
Melissa Gabler—The prophetic lifestyle opens opportunities, timing, and connections. Opportunities: having the ears to hear to be at the right place at the right time for yourself and others. Timing: none of us understand the timing of God because He is working on so many levels. It takes a prophetic lifestyle to see beyond the limited vision of our normal dimensions. It can keep you sane where timing is concerned. Connection: Brings lives together for God team-ups, projects, events, etc. We were never meant to do life alone (1 Corinthians 12:20-21). In this day and age, this way of life is a total necessity for the body of Christ.
MELISSA will be speaking tonight on “The Prophetic Lifestyle for All Believers” at DREAMS VISIONS PROPHECY 2024. An Angelic Company
Melissa Gabler—In days to come we will realize we have massive amounts of help from a God-created angelic company. It’s time to be aware that God has created an angelic army doing His will on this earth right now. It’s time we realized we are intended to network with them because they know our destiny and it is their job to help us get there. Why not Literal Dreams?
Kathy Gabler — I’m sure we have all wondered at times why everybody does not dream literal, plain dreams with clear communication and no search and discovery needed. Joseph in the New Testament saw the angel in a dream and understood clearly that the instructions were to flee to Egypt with Baby Jesus and Mary. Those were literal instructions that they could act on and they did. However, if we consider other scriptural examples of how God communicated, He often communicated with the prophets of the Old Testament in symbolic language. The dry bones in Ezekiel and the feet of iron and clay on the statue in Daniel were symbolic. Even Jesus often spoke in parables instead of literal details, and you know He was communicating with the crowds that kept gathering. Yet sometimes even the disciples had to ask Him for clarity later. So, I suspect that having to pursue understanding is part of God’s plan and purpose, probably for reasons like, 1) seeking God for wisdom builds relationship with the Lord, and 2) pursuing understanding is how we develop an ear to hear, and 3) every time we pursue God’s wisdom and clarity, we always discover more than we went looking for.

RECEIVING A PROPHECY

Personal prophecies are conditional upon (1) our FAITH in receiving them, (2) our OBEDIENCE to God and (3) our ENDURANCE through the preparation period with a moldable attitude. Grow Strong and be Filled With Wisdom
This is the day the Lord has made (Ps.118:24) so…. I will rejoice and be glad and grow strong in spirit and be filled with wisdom in it. Jesus was born with purpose and so are we. From the beginning, He not only grew physically but in His spirit and in wisdom for what was to come (Lk.2:52). One of our major goals for our children in 2024 should be to see them filled with the Spirit and to train them in godly wisdom. “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him.” (Lk.2:40, Amp)

The Need for Identity
KATHY—None of us outgrow the need for identity, affirmation or boundaries. If they are met, they help us to be healthy mentally, emotionally, physically and relationally. If they are not met, they set us up for sabotage. Since none of us had a perfect family life growing up, we have all been sabotaged to some degree and had conflicts with self-image that left our self-worth in doubt, or vice versa. And we have all faced embarrassment or failure regarding our self-government. So, it is no private scar since everyone’s mirror (self-image) gets whacked in life. Sometimes it is even our own doing; but how we respond after the fact is the crucial matter. If we continue to only look at a cracked reflection, a marred, fragmented person; that will keep us from agreeing with the way God sees us and keep us from lining up with God’s intentions for our life and future.

The Call and the Answer
MELISSA — Let’s look at “Call to me and I will answer you” through a modern American paradigm: I call on the Lord and He will answer – I will tell Him what I need and He will give it to me because He is a loving God. You know, kind of like curbside grocery delivery. I took the time to get my list together and I took the time to call about this list. Now, it’s on Him to deliver! I’m afraid we North Americans operate out of an entitled mindset not only in our relationship with earthlings, but also in our relationship with God. If I call on Him then ________ (insert pre-determined answer here). The problem with an entitled relationship with God is where the entitlement is rooted. If it is rooted in the Spirit, according to the covenant, then it will put you in a posture of dominion. If, however, it is rooted in the soul then it will hold you in a victimized defensive posture. The soul will keep you chained out of reach of God’s original intent which is indeed dominion. Or said another way, the soul will keep you from being heaven on earth. Transition Into New Norms
KATHY—I have sensed for several months that the Body of Christ is in an important time of transition into new norms. One of the new norms I believe we can expect is strategic dreams that equip us for the purposes of God.
