Finding Security

KATHY—Does God ever send us a word that conflicts with our personal beliefs?  Yes.  It’s not that God is out to upset our apple cart.  It is that He loves us too much to let us continue finding security in our beliefs that are tainted by error, warped by experience or hindered by misunderstanding.  These things will leave us at dead ends, frustrated and unfulfilled at some point in our destiny, and He loves us too much to simply allow that.  Prov.3:26,NLT—“for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.”

What You Dwell on Determines Your Hope

If we tend to look back and find ourselves distressed over expectancies and hopes that did not come to pass in our lives in the past year or we begin to consider what seem to be impossible/inevitable challenges of the future, why don’t we not dwell there but begin to make declarations like: I will not allow any person nor any adverse circumstance to determine the lifespan of the hope God originally put in me. Phil.1:6,Msg—“There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.”

The Never-Ending Warranty

MELISSA—God simply does not produce junk. He didn’t create humanity with only “one shot” to make it a good life, so “you better not mess up” or get sick in the process or “your life is over”. In fact, God Himself created the original warranty when Jesus took those stripes on His back (Isa. 53:5 &1Pe. 2:24). Yeah, that’s right, we have a never ending warranty on us, signed in blood. This warranty includes, “…all things that pertain unto life and godliness” (2Pe. 1:3). We have in us what we need right now, at this moment in time, for ourselves AND for our nation. Dare I even say, for the world. We have it because we have a relationship with Jesus Christ which opens us up to be a floodgate of Heaven on earth. It’s only through relationship that we gain understanding of the covenant. It’s our relationship with the King of Kings that sharpens and broadens our vision to see the treasures and promises in His covenant.

Dreams and Warnings

KATHY—A warning from God in a dream may sober you, but it will not threaten or condemn you.  The point of a God-warning is to be wise and take action.  Dreams that come as a threat are not His nature.  Threats come from fear, our own or someone else’s. Since God is never afraid, He won’t cause you to panic. He won’t send dreams or visions to intimidate because He can’t be threatened.  He won’t send them to shame or condemn because He can’t be manipulated or moved to action with guilt.  His dreams and visions will reflect His nature.

Gonna Make it Through the Year

As the people of God assemble today may take note of those who are really in need of prayer so that they can make it through the week and through the year. May they let Father’s precious Holy Spirit move their hearts in behalf of others and pray for them and speak to them of the hope that is within us through the promises of Jehovah God Almighty. Lam.3:21-23,Msg—“But there’s one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope: 22  God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. 23 They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness!  24  I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left.”

Labeling and Praying

I saw the picture of a man on the internet and was immediately moved to pray for him. I prayed this and that for some minutes and then I believe Holy Spirit began to shift my praying to pray that Father would help him to rise above everything he has never risen above, to be delivered from everything that has ever held him captive so that he can be everything he is supposed to be right through 2023. It isn’t doing us (or the other person) any good for us to just label their bondage and feel that the fruit of their lives has proven us correct in our assessment. We can allow their defeating shortcomings to drive us to our knees in intercessory prayer and declarations of liberty over them. 1Tim.2:1-“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.”

A Revelatory Nugget

MELISSA— Have you ever had times when a revelatory nugget pops up, then within days you hear the same nugget from other sources? That’s been happening as of late and I’m learning to pay attention to those! Following is one such instance that has been not only ringing in my ear, but answering some of those seemingly unanswerable questions.  While in conversation this was quoted to me from a book, “God hides some things for specific times so that the enemy cannot destroy them.” That stuck with me, and a couple of days later I read a quote from someone else that was expressing the exact same thought! Well, that really hit me between the eyes, especially because these came from trusted sources. It was an “Are you listening?” moment.
I began meditating on God hiding something for a specific time, and it felt like this statement began filling cracks in my understanding. If God cloaks something for a time, it is not only to hide it from the devil and his destructive minions, but it is also to hide it from our own self-sabotage. Yes, the devil and self-sabotage are two different things. However, the devil LOVES stoking the flames of self-sabotage! All we have to do is let our fears and concerns fall out of our mouths like kindling for the enemy’s threatening bonfire. So many times we make the devil’s job so easy.  (MELISSA is one of the hosts, leading worship and speaking at Kingdom Congress 2023. KC2023 Info: martygabler.com/kc2023/.)Vol27Iss1_FrCvr500

Creation is Groaning

KATHY — In our natural thinking, we might see creepy minions of darkness creating havoc and standing on the verge of overtaking our doomed world but, if we think like God thinks, these are all signs of creation groaning for the manifest sons of God, Rom 8:19,22.  Creation is groaning for powerful men and women of God to do supernatural things and bring God’s will and order to this life.

2023 Declarations #1

I declare that in 2023:
1. THERE WILL BE A Fresh Outpouring of the Supernatural.
Kids Version: We declare that we will speak the words that bring heaven to earth.
Numerous people will be anointed by THE Prophet to prophesy awesome stuff. Your cry will be “Oh, God, let me prophesy the awesome, the extraordinary, the unconventional of your power, your love, your compassion, your wisdom, your provision.”
1Cor.14:3,TPT—“But when someone prophesies, he speaks to encourage people, to build them up, and to bring them comfort.”
