KATHY—Preparation Against Weapons — Some time ago Melissa was awakened at 5:00 am on a Sunday morning with a terrible pain in her thigh. Something was biting her. She was already conditioned to panic with a memory root of having been bitten in her sleep before by a brown recluse spider. Added to that, she had killed a scorpion in her house three weeks earlier. So conditioned, she jumped up in a frantic search to find her attacker. Suddenly, however, the Spirit of the Lord said, “Don’t you think I have prepared your body to beat the weapon I saw being formed against you?” She then remembered the downloads the Holy Spirit had been giving her in recent weeks concerning foods and specific nutrients to take. Her panic turned to peace as quickly as it had sprung up, and the bite lost its threat. She found the culprit, dead from her slap, and the bite was a tiny dot by midmorning. “Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.” (Eph.6:13)

Overcoming Attacks
MARTIN GABLER—Have you recently felt as though you are personally under attack or that everything you have started or built or supported or cared about is being attacked with an unprecedented zeal? In the Kingdom of God there is no such thing as change/progress without opposition. We are now in an unprecedented time of history when change is a frequent factor in the lives of those in the Kingdom of God. I have had people tell me that before they came to Christ, or before they received a divine promise or calling, their lives were not all that much of a struggle. But since beginning to follow the Lord and apply themselves to progress in promise, they have been in one spiritual battle after another. When we accept Jesus, we are inducted into the army of God. God’s Kingdom has an army. He puts a robe of righteousness on us and armor which become a conspicuous uniform identifying which army we belong to. When we receive a prophecy and begin to walk it out or when we begin to hunger for the things of God which we have never experienced, we become a nuisance to that which prefers to perpetuate the status quo in us and in our environment. The enemy of the people of God knows that to let us go unhindered is to consent to defeat without a struggle. Satan’s most effective, time-proven weapons are intimidation and discouragement. As we continue to receive prophecies that propel us forward into our Kingdom purpose, there will be opposing forces that will attempt to intimidate and discourage us from doing mighty exploits. The 10 spies will cry, “Giants!” The Athaliahs will yell, “Treason!” The Michals will tauntingly proclaim, “Vile!” And the Sanballats will accusingly shout, “Rebellion!” If we check our mandate and our motivation and find them to be scriptural as David did, then let’s allow it to become our courage.

Can I be Real?
MELISSA—Can I just be real with you? Here’s where I am currently, things don’t look right or feel right, (and I’ve had multiple conversations with others feeling the same way). It’s looking like the norm we grew up in has faded into the sunset for good. Things that used to entertain us have become disgusting beyond words and the atmosphere is so weighty it is tangible. BUT in the midst of all of this, I sense something phenomenal coming that has me so full of hope and pure joy that I can breathe deeper than I ever have. Pinpointing Contradictions
KATHY—This is certainly a year in which we could see “resurrection out of contradiction”. I look at our nation’s situation and cannot ignore the need to take action and participate with God in this resurrection. Pinpointing contradictions is probably the first challenge. In the course of a day, we can hear a statement in passing that threatens our whole nation or run into the panic of a fast-moving virus or get caught up in economic predictions that smother hope or we might witness an incident that robs us of peace and security. The list is endless and unique to each of us, yet the bombardment is common to all of us. If we fail to disagree through word or deed when evil or malice is exposed, we tolerate a non-God influence in the atmosphere instead of taking it down with prayer and declarations from the Word of God.

Redemption Through the Shed Blood of Jesus
MARTIN P—As the people of God assemble today may they take hope in their redemption through the shed blood of Jesus at Calvary. May they know they are sons/daughters of most high God and rest in His present love and care and plans for their future. Eph.1:5-8, TPT—“For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure 7 Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace. 8 This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us…”

Sons, Daughters and Ambassadors
DR. DON CRUM — The government of the Kingdom of God increases as God’s sons and daughters who are His ambassadors in the earthly realm, understand and operate more in the implementation of God’s “Foreign Policies” in the earth. Therefore, His rule and reign extend and expand throughout the nations, pulling them into alignment. Matt 13:33 Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.” God’s Kingdom Government is permeating throughout the nations through you and me as His Kingdom Ambassadors. As God’s sons and daughters in the earth, we are entrusted with an amazing inheritance of kingly authority to legislate the affairs of nations by invoking God’s plans and policies on a massive global scale. We are rapidly moving out of the Congregational and into the Congressional in this hour. Understanding our delegated authority in Christ’s imperative. (DR. Not by Might nor by Power
MELISSA—When the Lord said that we should pray so we can be prepared for the onslaught, we did, and then His instruction came to hold. What this instruction has shown me is “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of Hosts.” (Zech. 4:6) This cannot be handled or fixed by our might or power. We are at the place where all of our self-help, strength, reasoning and logic have absolutely no power against this onslaught. What we are experiencing is what has been fueling the problems in lives and society and it has been hidden behind the scenes until now. This is a spiritual war and this is only the beginning. Wisdom to Prevail in Days Ahead
KATHY — Wisdom is working to equip us to prevail in days ahead over key forces like offense, self-pity, anger and fear. The power of those forces is that they condition us to defeat ourselves. Offense is stumbling and it causes us to cripple ourselves. Offense causes us to become distrustful and desert our post. We do not have to take in offense even when it comes banging on our door with every logic. Ps.119:165, TPT — “There is such a great peace and well-being that comes to the lovers of your word, and they will never be offended.”

Grow Strong and be Filled With Wisdom
This is the day the Lord has made (Ps.118:24) so…. I will rejoice and be glad and grow strong in spirit and be filled with wisdom in it. Jesus was born with purpose and so are we. From the beginning, He not only grew physically but in His spirit and in wisdom for what was to come (Lk.2:52). One of our major goals for our children in 2024 should be to see them filled with the Spirit and to train them in godly wisdom. “And the Child grew and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of God was upon Him.” (Lk.2:40, Amp)

MELISSA—Awhile back, when I was asking the Lord how to pray for Sunday service I clearly heard, “Prepare us for the onslaught.” I instantly had a sense that there are challenges coming to those of us that have been in the church for a while, challenges that will try to knock us off of our foundation in Christ. I’m not writing this from that place on the other side of a battle looking back over it. I’m writing from the midst of the onslaught. Also, I am not writing this from a place of despair! The Lord does not give us insight like this to warn us to get ready to be beaten up and hope we can hold on to make it out alive. He gives us this kind of insight because He is doing something in the middle of it. There is something major shifting. An onslaught such as this proves something major is shifting! An enemy does not attack when it has you subdued and controlled. An enemy attacks when it’s control is being overturned. That is exactly where we are.

The Need for Identity
KATHY—None of us outgrow the need for identity, affirmation or boundaries. If they are met, they help us to be healthy mentally, emotionally, physically and relationally. If they are not met, they set us up for sabotage. Since none of us had a perfect family life growing up, we have all been sabotaged to some degree and had conflicts with self-image that left our self-worth in doubt, or vice versa. And we have all faced embarrassment or failure regarding our self-government. So, it is no private scar since everyone’s mirror (self-image) gets whacked in life. Sometimes it is even our own doing; but how we respond after the fact is the crucial matter. If we continue to only look at a cracked reflection, a marred, fragmented person; that will keep us from agreeing with the way God sees us and keep us from lining up with God’s intentions for our life and future.

As the people of God assemble today may those who have strayed like a lost sheep respond to the Good Shepherd’s seeking of them. How Much Will the Kingdom of God Advance?
Jim Hodges: “The question is not how much does the Kingdom advance before the King returns. Prepare Us, O Lord
MELISSA—Recently on a Sunday morning I was getting ready for church and asked the Lord what I needed to pray over the service that day and I clearly heard, “Prepare us for the onslaught.” I instantly had a sense that there are challenges coming to those of us that have been in the church for a while, challenges that will try to knock us off of our foundation in Christ. I literally heard the question being asked, “Is what I have believed my whole life even true?” I shared this with those in my Pastor’s office before service. During worship Pastor asked me to share this and then he followed up with having the congregation take hands all across the room. He proceeded to say, “Hold. Hold. Hold,” and then he said, “This is the stance we have to take in the days ahead.” This could not have been more accurate instruction. Within the following weeks lives began to erupt like a volcano. There was a moment in the midst of it all I was reminded of what I’d heard and realized I’d thought it was going to come from outside, but it started from the inside first. My Pastor’s words started ringing in my head, “HOLD.” This instruction brought peace and stability.

Big Signals that Anger is in Residence
KATHY—Blame and self-pity are big signals that anger is in residence. BLAME builds a prison of offense and/or condemnation around you. Forgiveness is the ONLY key to that prison. We must watch for BLAME in our thinking and our conversations. “Self-Pity” is a big signal that anger is unresolved: “I was hurt,” usually justifies anger rather than resolves it. Just like a person who justifies their actions has not repented of them, rehearsing the hurts is refusing to let go of offense. It is blocking the CHANGE needed. Being “hurt” is “tails” and “BLAME” is “heads” of the same coin. We can start with “heads” and describe the action of the offender; or cut to the result, “tails,” and describe the offense taken.

The Call and the Answer
MELISSA — Let’s look at “Call to me and I will answer you” through a modern American paradigm: I call on the Lord and He will answer – I will tell Him what I need and He will give it to me because He is a loving God. You know, kind of like curbside grocery delivery. I took the time to get my list together and I took the time to call about this list. Now, it’s on Him to deliver! I’m afraid we North Americans operate out of an entitled mindset not only in our relationship with earthlings, but also in our relationship with God. If I call on Him then ________ (insert pre-determined answer here). The problem with an entitled relationship with God is where the entitlement is rooted. If it is rooted in the Spirit, according to the covenant, then it will put you in a posture of dominion. If, however, it is rooted in the soul then it will hold you in a victimized defensive posture. The soul will keep you chained out of reach of God’s original intent which is indeed dominion. Or said another way, the soul will keep you from being heaven on earth. Toss Thought-Clutter
KATHY—Self-to-Self dreams can clean house by flashing scenes from our life into dreams so we can gather and toss “thought-clutter” and have a clean start the next day. Scientists and doctors have proven these kind of dreams are a nightly reset that de-clutters the mind and de-stresses the mind. Since stress is the starting point for many, if not most health issues, the ability to dream self-to-self is healthy. The Hebrew word for dream is chalam (khay lem), which means to strengthen or restore to health or facilitate recovery. Any way you look at it, dreaming is a blessing from the Lord. Even nightmares or upsetting dreams or bizarro dreams can be a positive because they bring things stored in our core closet out to the living room where we can be aware of them and we can confront them for relief or resolve. As the people of God assemble today may His people have a sense of the more that is to come of His purposes and His outpourings. May the hope of receiving and participating fill their hearts with expectancy. “In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary–we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!” (Rom.5:5, Msg)

An Order Coming
DR. GREG CRAWFORD—[Awhile back, Dr. Crawford had a prophetic vision while he was meditating on many things concerning the life of the Body of Christ, the disconnected ones, the order needed, the power required, and he was seeking asking God what will it take to align and re-order all of this to your intention. This item was called “The Order”. “I saw an order coming into the earth again. This order was the ways of God. The order was defining the realignment of past structures. A structuring of governmental legislating. A way that would produce a path. The Path was part of the order. It was the outcome of the ways. The sound of the Ecclesia was the order. The order was coming to release authority. I saw wave upon wave of authority being released upon the earth, as another part of the order and path of God was being found and walked. The more this repeated the stronger the sound and the order became. Men’s hearts were giving way to the order as a more excellent way.”

A Seriously Sobering Season
Melissa — We are in the midst of a seriously sobering season. We are in the thick of the increase of His perpetually increasing government (Isaiah 9:7). Awakening won’t be limited to the American church’s view of what it should look like to be most effective. Awakening is going to seep through the cracks in the foundation of the American church and reform it. Awakening brings reformation. We better be ready for awakening to bring some shock and awe too! It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, (Eph. 5:12-13 NLT) This awakening is going deep. It’s going to shed light on things that have been going on under our noses but we haven’t seen it because we have been asleep. It will be shocking, but that is why reformation comes with it. Reform will deal with evil.
