True Riches Beyond the Natural

MARTY GABLER—Rom 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (NAS)  The Kingdom of God is not made of things that give us life in our natural flesh. The Kingdom of God, true riches, are beyond the natural; that is why it is righteousness, peace and joy “in the Holy Spirit.” The presence and activity of the Holy Spirit in our lives is the only way for the display and function of those necessities which are beyond the natural. Yet it still remains from the principle of Scripture that there is some testing and proving going on to see if we might be trusted with true riches. There are those things in this present age which await transaction and that transaction can only come about with the Transacting Power of true riches. Testing and proving is a dynamic characteristic of the Kingdom of God for those who would “be about their Father’s business.”

Pulling the Heavenly Into the Earthly

Dr. Don Crum — Jesus was God on a mission and He had men with Him called disciples. [Matt.8:18f] They had started their journey in joy, going somewhere with Jesus. They passed through a terrific threat that exposed their fear. They got to the other side and participated in deliverance. However, I think the real mission was to see the Lord in a new way, to have Him revealed to them in such a way that they rowing in stormcould not help but marvel, “What manner of man is this?” That is worship. The effects of the mission accomplished was the deliverance of a city from demonic possession, but the real mission was to get the Church to worship. When we worship, we move into a dimension of God called His throne room. By the way, we are already seated therein. We are here in our physical bodies, but we have an even greater, more significant presence at the right hand of God the Father in Christ. At the right hand is the place of highest authority. As God gets us into that understanding, then from earthly place and time, we really worship as we are worshiping already in the heavenly realm. Seated in the presence of His majesty we are worshiping Him along with angels and creatures and elders that cannot stop even if they wanted to. This is the seat of His government which we call His Kingdom. It is important that we marvel and worship, for when the Church worships, that tips the scale. Meeting Challenges

JesusPeterEtAl
There are great challenges before us now and challenges yet to come upon this
world. Those challenges must not go unmet. And who better to meet them than
those who have been with Jesus? Each son of God and daughter of God is being
tested by Holy Spirit because Jesus wants each of us to participate (Jn.20:21; Gal.4:1-7).
