What, Where, Why, How, When — WHAT we need more than better politicians is an awakening move of God. WHERE we need that move of God is in the Church. WHY we need that move of God (perhaps it might better be labeled a reforming move of God) is because, having lost sight of our purpose in the earth, the church is bemoaning and reacting rather than decreeing and acting. HOW the move will come is determined by the resistance from those He is attempting to move upon, i.e., the types of circumstances in which they will be willing to hear from God. There are numerous creative circumstances in the Bible that were allowed to develop to awaken purpose in those who eventually became Sunday School story heroes. But then, their goal was not to get to heaven. It was to stop the giants and the systems that dared defy the Lord of Hosts. WHEN God moves, we must be ready to yield to a paradigm that allows His government to reform us before we inadequately try transforming a nation. (1Pe.4:17 “judgment begins in the house of God”) After not preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom (i.e.,the rule of God, not just a get-out-of-hell-free message; Matt.4:23; 9:35; 24:14) and Kingdom culture for 200 years, we are crying out in our nation for a political figure to legislate morality to produce a culture that doesn’t destroy itself and shed innocent blood. The people of God already have a King and Redeemer and no politician can replace Him. Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God is our redeemer and Messiah. To quote Dale Gentry, “We have had conservative presidents but not one has called the nation to a fast. Conservativism will not replace godliness.” And while mentioning conservativism, consider a poignant measure on the future of the matter: “The weakened Republican Party will not be successful in opposing important policy shifts. It will be engaged in an internal ideological struggle. Its main question will be the extent to which it can continue to accommodate the ideas of its religious faction and yet expand its base to appeal to a broad coalition who sees the religious right as the albatross around the neck of the party.”(Sam Soleyn, “Shaking the Heavens and the Earth” http://www.soleyn.com) We are standing at a tipping point in this nation that we have not quite approached to date and, for the most part, are not even aware of. The Church was never meant to place itself or its hope in the hands of political parties, candidates or governing or judicial entities created by men. The Church will only function the way it was created and ordained to function, standing on the foundation of the rule of God, that is, Kingdom principles. When the king of Sodom opened his arms wide to include Abraham in the economy of his own kingdom, Abraham quickly responded: “Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have sworn to the LORD God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth, 23 that I will not take a thread or a sandal thong or anything that is yours, for fear you would say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’” (Gen.14:22-23) You become a lackey for the one who fills your pocket and they never let you forget they are the one that did it.
Kathy — Sometimes the only failsafe between godly obedience and religious obligation is discernment. Heb.5:14, Amplified — “But solid food is for the [spiritually] mature, whose senses are trained by practice to distinguish between what is morally good and what is evil.”

God will never share, with mere political parties, the power He has designed to be exercised through the Church. “Politicians are not to be looked to for complete social reform… The Church has been losing influence in America because it has been relying on politics to stop the moral and spiritual decay in society. Politics will not catalyze the change; it is simply a reflection of the environment. If the environment is rooted in Christian values, the politics of America will be rooted in Christian values… The spiritual revival and renewal of Christian faith needed in America will never originate from Washington. Once the spiritual climate changes, Washington will be changed. If the American Church thinks her salvation […] comes from Washington and a God-fearing president, then her hope is rooted in a counterfeit… God’s Church is not dependent on elections; it is dependent upon His Word, which declares, ‘… I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’” (Matt 16:18) (Dennis Lindsey, “God and Politics”)If we are not careful, we can just get to looking around and saying, “‘Such and such’ is what’s going on” and forget that God is at work.
As the people of God assemble today may they edify and comfort one another with assurances of Almighty God being their hiding place from all that troubles and threatens. May they continually abide in the shelter of the Almighty. Ps.27:5, CEV— “In times of trouble, you will protect me. You will hide me in your tentand keep me safe on top of a mighty rock.”
Kathy — I awoke one night hearing my own voice saying, “It must be now!” I fell back to sleep wondering what was going on. The next day as I walked through the kitchen again those words came up in my spirit, “It must be now!” That time as I spoke, I heard the sound of wind whoosh by my ear. I said, “Lord, what is happening?” He said, “You are deploying angels and your agreement is crucial in timing.” That stunned me but I’m beginning to realize the promptings of the Holy Spirit are bringing us into awareness to bring a sound of agreement out of us. I heard the Lord say last Sunday, “I am going to do unique and powerful things, watch.” That instruction to “watch” was a call to stay aware and ready to participate. I believe we are in the Lord’s earth and in His history to see His righteous agenda turn nations!
A question I have heard asked repeatedly over the last few months is: “What is going on?” There is a sudden dawning upon people and nations that things are not the way they used to be while there is an underlying desire within the breast of the typical person for things to go back to the way they were in spite of the ever-present fear that they won’t. Even if you could get back to “the good old days” you would find them woefully inadequate in their revelation and application for today. Current events are not just the result of bad politics or bad politicians. They were not left in charge. An apostolic order for accommodating and advancing the Kingdom of God in the earth was the design when Jesus ascended to the right hand of Majesty on High (Acts 1:3). Things, therefore, must shake and adjust so that the body of Christ and the nations might come into correct order.
Melissa — After having some wearisome days I was praying and I saw a slingshot being pulled back slowly to the point of release. I could hear the sling snapping as it was being pulled to the its limit in order to hurl the stone at peak velocity. 2021 Declaration #2. INTERCESSORS GOING TO WAR IN PRAYER WILL EXPOSE DANGER — Kid’s Version: We declare that God is giving secret missions to prayer warriors. On several occasions in the year to come there will be warnings and/or predictions about nationally impacting and dangerous events/circumstances that will be retracted because of intercessors going to war in prayer. There will be hints here and there of impending plans/dangers but God will show the intercessors through speaking to them, through visions, through dreams and types and shadows, and intercessors will be seeing clearer than they ever have. There will be a linking of intercessors in America, South America and Europe to a degree that there has not been heretofore. The body of Christ is moving from congregational to congressional, from priestly to kingly. We will not just be gathering but legislating in the atmosphere through prayers, declarations, decrees and prophecy. We must pray for the hand of the Lord to protect the water supply of cities and even nations. There will even be times we will have to pray for the waters to be healed. There will be times when wars will be fought over water supply. Melissa — It came to me that to actually trust God meant to actually let go of needing to know the process of getting to an answer. I’ve never functioned like that. Unfortunately my M.O. has been to ask and believe for a God-outcome while all along fixating on my logic’s only conclusion as to how that could happen. That, my friends, will WEAR. YOU. OUT. Kathy — There are some people who seek knowledge and spiritual connections to have influence over other people, ultimately hoping to be powerful and wealthy.They may or may not realize they are allying with demons: 1) while demons can take a person past natural knowledge, they are not all-knowing, 2) demons are under no obligation to be truthful. 3) demons are never ‘helpful’. Demons are maneuvering for control, to have agents to actualize through in order to steal, kill and destroy (Jn.10:10) at the opportune moment. There are those who will defend their practices declaring themselves “compassionate defenders and helpers of the helpless”.This is the same bill of goods the serpent sold Adam and Eve in the garden: you will be able to discern good and evil and know just how to deal with it. You will be just like God.The bottom line is that no matter how good human intentions are, if they refuse to operate in the Spirit of Christ, they are opposing His Lordship and they ultimately defile lives.The excellence and skill of the human ability without Christ boils down to worshiping the abilities of the creature rather than the Creator. With the great amount of confusion, misinformation and misdirection in the atmosphere, IS IT TOO LATE? Peter just stood there shaking his head…. totally confused…. because he had been telling people, “He has come to sit on a throne.” And now…. this King of kings has just explained to Peter that He will hang on a cross. What was so glorious and victorious now, from Peter’s viewpoint, stinks. Just about the time Peter had God figured out, just about the time he got comfortable walking on a predictable road of committed institution-building, God seemingly veered off to the left and sent Peter’s head spinning in a dizzy flood of questions and attempts to re-evaluate his calling, if indeed he ever had one. Though some irresistible gravity may be pulling on us to suck us down that abysmal “sifter,” our Lord has prayed for us and we can endure to the end and be saved (Matt 24:13). Jesus was so certain Peter could endure that He said, “And WHEN you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” (Lk 22:32, NIV)
Kathy — If we just talk about what we sense or what is going on, that is like laying a ticking bomb in the laps of others instead of diffusing it! Anything that is contradictory to God’s will should be confronted with God’s Truth. The Truth is Jesus. The truth is His Word and character and purpose in earth as in heaven, and we can speak it and release it as a counterforce to contradictions, and it will make a difference. As believers and sons of God we cannot be more focused on conditions than the Truth. If we intend to pray in faith, we must think according to His Word and principles and character, instead of falling into being upset over circumstances.
Melissa — Hey, you can fast fear! It’s true! Set your mind to it and watch how aware you become of fear in your life. It’s amazing how interwoven that stinker is. But when you become aware, you can do something about it. You can take your rightful place in the driver’s seat by forcing fear out. Ask the Holy Spirit to point it out, then you replace it with truth. You replace fear with God’s original intent for your life, thoughts of peace to give you an expected end (Jer. 29:11). This is not necessarily an overnight change, it takes time. It’s a process well worth it, but you can still be an agent of change in the middle of your process. How? By listening to the Father and doing/saying what He tells you (John 5:19).
Kathy — When we are DISCERNING rather than DECEIVED, we can distinguish works of darkness because they do not reflect the truth or heart of God. Holy Spirit discernment and the principles of God come from keeping our priority focus on knowing Him. Knowing light will expose darkness. Knowing the real will expose the counterfeit.
As the people of God assemble today, may they see plainer than ever the road that they are purposed to run in this new year. May one be an encouragement to another to steadily get on down the path this year that leads to success for our Lord’s plan. “…I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere.
