Misguided Expectancy

KATHY GABLER—I pray release right now for those who are gifted, called, anointed and skilled for life purpose, yet are walking unfulfilled because of misguided expectancy.  Expectancy falls short if “be fruitful and multiply” only means duplication or mass production.  Expectancy is short-circuited if we are determined to fit the mold of a previous model.  Expectancy is distorted if it is influenced by personal issues like a need for attention or affirmation or acceptance.  Expectancy is diseased if it is driven by fear or shame or pride.  So, let’s cooperate with Father as He breaks the thought patterns that lead to misguided expectancy so that we successfully break out of life cycles of frustration and disappointment.

Commanded to Choose Life

KATHY GABLER—Our Lord commanded us to choose life (Deut.30:19). You’d think that goes without saying.  Who, in their right mind, wouldn’t choose life? It sounds simple, but it actually can get complex and difficult, because the first challenge is listening to your spirit instead of your soul!  Your spirit is where His Spirit dwells, so choosing life starts with pulling from His Truth and Wisdom instead of how we feel because of throbbing pain or blinding fear or understandable anger.  Besides extreme emotions, choices from the soul can be under the influence of squirrelly thinking or deception or bad moods.  We have to work past the soul to the spirit to choose life.

Ground-Level Grit

KATHY GABLER—Let’s get down to some ground–level grit.  It is God that brings (leads, influences, carries, persuades) sons to glory.  The sons’ part is to overcome through the process of getting there.   Opposition is anything that contradicts the Word, will or character of God in our lives.  In John 14:30, Jesus pointed out one major source of opposition was  “the ruler of this world.”   Your adversary, the devil, will oppose you continually.  Though the glory of God may have never been in the forefront of your thinking before now, it has been number one priority with the devil all along. He is afraid you will do what you were born to do.

Not Defeated by Facts

KATHY GABLER—Our God of the impossible is not limited or defeated by facts and history. Our Redeemer can and will override history if we dare to trust Him and cooperate with Him. Whether it is in conversation or just a passing thought, God help us to realize in the moment when we are hearing contradictions to the will of our Father or perceiving evil threats or discerning assignments from hell so that those things are not left unconfronted!

Speak Prophetically

MARTY GABLER—We must speak prophetically to challenges. The sons and daughters of God must have a mindset that is prophetic. The prophetic mind thinks on the same scale that God Almighty thinks on. God does not speak “ant” language; He speaks “giant” language. Jesus was thinking, “We can feed these 5,000 people.” (Jn.6) Someone had to be available to go with what Jesus already knew He would do. Jesus already knows what He will do in our families, churches, cities and nation. He is looking for prophetic capacity for the purpose of prophetic declaration and participation.

A Work in You

MARTIN GABLER–May the Lord do a life-work in you. May it be a work that will settle something, that will loose something, that will open up something, that will thrill your soul and cause your spirit to soar. May it be a part of your present victories and your future accomplishments. (2Thess.1:11-12, Msg) “…we pray for you all the time—pray that our God will make you fit for what He’s called you to be, pray that he’ll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with his own energy so that it all amounts to something. If your life honors the name of Jesus, he will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this,” We are praying you discover daily God’s grace working in you.

Not Needing to Know

MELISSA GABLER—It came to me that to actually trust God meant to actually let go of needing to know the process of getting to an answer. I’ve never functioned like that. Unfortunately my M.O. has been to ask and believe for a God-outcome while all along fixating on my logic’s only conclusion as to how that could happen. That, my friends, will WEAR. YOU. OUT. In that moment it felt good, it felt right to let go, and something in me took a deep breath for the first time.

It Brings Radical Results

KATHY GABLER–It is possible that fresh obedience will bring such radical results that it will be tempting to get caught up in revolution rather than obedience! That is a warning to the wise. If we become revolutionary through passion rather than wisdom and obedience, the results will not be the same. Making changes for the sake of change is about passion. Expecting or demanding immediate change can be about impatience rather than obedience. Nevertheless, fresh obedience will be revolutionary.

Lost Time and Opportunities

MARTIN GABLER–May we not focus on the loss of time and opportunities as we head into the last quarter of this year. But may we focus on Him Who is faithful and desirous to get us to appointed times and purposes and may He help us not to sabotage what He is working in us.

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” (Ps.138:8, NKJV)

Take Hold of Plan A

MELISSA GABLER—This is the time to loose your grasp on plan B and take hold, with both hands, of plan A — Father’s original intent for your life. If your answer is hidden, ask God what the right question is in this moment. Ask Him what, in you, might be hindering the answer. Ask Him what you need to know today. He’s got plans for you, He is not into punishing you. His M.O. is all about forgiveness, redemption, relationship, and promotion, all for His glory. Hey, if He tells you it’s simply about timing then it’s really that simple. His timing is perfect. Look at the birth and life of Samuel. Perseverance is key! It’s going to be an amazing time heading into next year. Get ready for your answers.

Winning War or Merely Surviving?

KATHY GABLER–The key difference between winning war and merely surviving is our beliefs and attitudes, and both start in our thinking. That’s why God was trying to change Judah’s thinking and focus (Hag.1:5-9). Rebuilding the temple would change their future. Rebuilding the temple would set their priorities in order and break the cycle they were in. Rebuilding the temple was about vision and purpose. When we have vision of a future that is different, better and beyond today’s limitations, we can muster the passion and zeal to take ground and get to change.

Most High is Involved in Current Events

MARTY GABLER–This is the day the Lord has made so…
I will rejoice because the Lord God Most High is actively involved in current events. He will not overlook or ignore unrighteous ploys and will not allow ours or His enemies to prevail. (Ps74)
“Yours is the day, Yours also is the night; You have prepared the light and the sun.
You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have made summer and winter.
Remember this, O Lord, that the enemy has reviled, And a foolish people has spurned Your name.
Do not deliver the soul of Your turtledove to the wild beast; Do not forget the life of Your afflicted forever.
Consider the covenant; For the dark places of the Land are full of the habitations of violence.
Let not the oppressed return dishonored; Let the afflicted and needy praise Your name.” (Ps74:16-21)

Speak the Same Thing

MARTIN GABLER–As the people of God assemble today, may they be of one heart and one mind to hear the truths of God in His Word and to “speak the same thing” that the Holy Bible declares so that the truths of God Most High, that represent His character and that bless and give life, may not be considered arguable by regional or culturally preferential viewpoints.
“Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” (1Cor.1:10, NKJV)

Full Promise of God

MARTIN PHILLIP GABLER–Would you buy a bird without a song or a dog without a bark? Then don’t “buy” anything from the devil or this world system that is less than what God has promised. If you went to a hospital to have a baby and they brought out a large doll and said, “This is your baby,” would you just simply accept it “because that’s the way things are, that’s just the way things worked out this time?” Would you accept just a picture of your paycheck because your boss talked you into believing that it is a reasonable facsimile thereof? No you wouldn’t because you know very well that it would not be the real thing and you could not spend it. Therefore, don’t settle for anything less than the full promise of God which you know full well (cf.Rom.4:18).

Devices of the Crafty Frustrated

Made to Advance

MELISSA GABLER—We were made to advance the Kingdom in this moment.  We get to be alive to advance the Kingdom in this moment! God doesn’t do things by chance, He does them with intention.  I say this to say, you have the eternal plan of God inside of you, all you need to do is walk it out.  How do we walk it out? By relationship with our Father which solidifies our identity as a son or daughter made to manifest the dominion mandate.

Not Warring According to the Flesh

KATHY GABLER—“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,” (2 Cor.10:3-4, NKJ)  I pray we become a people of God, skillful in the use of un-carnal weapons.  I believe the first step to that goal is learning to recognize the difference between carnal (governed by mere human nature only) and un-carnal weapons.  If we simply “do what comes naturally,” we are choosing carnal weapons.  So, we must learn to do what comes super-naturally.  Emotional reactions that flare up in us are sometimes explosive and therefore seem powerful.  After all, we all know what it is like to fear someone’s upset or wrath.  However, emotional outbursts, like a persuasive tongue or logic or rationalization are common weapons of the natural man; therefore they are still carnal weapons and do not compare with un-carnal weapons like Godly authority and wisdom or Divine revelation and intervention.

Preserved in Purpose

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today may the people of God all worship Him and call on His name in one accord. And may they find, as they go through the week, that they are preserved in their person, their family, their job and their purpose. Ps.31:23, NKJV — “Oh, love the Lord, all you His saints! For the Lord preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person.”   v.23, EXB — “Love the Lord, all you ·who belong to him [loyal ones; saints]. The Lord protects those who ·truly believe [are faithful], but he ·punishes [repays] ·the proud as much as they have sinned [those who act with pride].”

August is for Looking Where our Help Comes From

MARTY GABLER—The month of August is for looking unto the hills where our help comes from. It comes from the Lord (Psalm 121:1-2). In August, let us do as instructed in verse one as we lift up our eyes to where our Help is. We must lift up our eyes to see beyond the immediate representations and visages of what appear to be immovable, indefatigable threats against purpose and life. Verse 3 unembarrassedly announces to us that “He will not suffer thy foot to be moved” while verse 5 boldly reminds us in the most certain of terms that “The Lord is thy keeper”. All through August we must lift up our eyes and run to the Rock (Ps.61:2) because the Psalmist proclaims with all assurance that “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil; He shall preserve thy soul”.

Resurrection Life

MELISSA GABLER—The Man Jesus Who walked out of that tomb did it as an example for all of us as how life should be from then on and there is so much more to resurrection life than walking out of the grave. That sounds crazy because that’s the biggest thing we can think of on earth but it’s bigger than we can comprehend with our finite minds. We weren’t built to hang on and hope for the best. We were made to operate in resurrection life until life on earth is “as it is in heaven” and we usher the King into the new earth He is worthy of. What a time to be alive. I’m thankful we all get to live this resurrection life together!

Seeing the Hand of God

KATHY GABLER—I have been seeing God’s hand moving behind a curtain on a stage.  That has kept me anticipating the curtain rising in my understanding.  Little by little an expectation has grown in me that we are about to see many things the Holy Spirit has been adjusting, rearranging, developing, redeeming, restoring and maturing.  I don’t think there will be some colorful, feel good, fairytale play behind those curtains, rather a stage set with details that bring clarity and a God-perspective that equips us, literally showing us another way to think and perceive and prevail.  I have a feeling the curtain will rise on insights that adjust our mode of operation and strategies and change our outcomes.

A Head and a Destiny

MARTY GABLER—The Body Has A Head And A Destiny. Paul did not teach that some day, by and by, the Church will eventually be a Head and a body. He proclaimed that to be the present make-up of the Church. (1Co 12:27; Eph 5:23) According to Paul, Jesus is the Head and believers are the body. That is God’s plan, not the plan of a committee. How or why would God attach His awesome Son/Head to a beleaguered, weary body that was seeking to avoid its destiny? In the physical human body, the impulses that tell the body what to do and enable it to do those things, come from the head. The head sends messages to the body so that the body can act it out. We can do anything in this earth that Jesus did: raise the dead, heal the sick, deliver the captive and affect nature. Many years ago I prophesied to small children concerning the purpose of God for their lives. Some of them are now bringing their babies to our meetings and asking me to prophesy over their babies like I did over them. Those young parents and their children can sense that there is a God-given purpose in them now. We have a destiny right here and right now.

Standing on the Truth

Melissa Gabler — Our stance in this season is standing—standing on the truth that our magnificent God is doing something BIG.  He is establishing His plan for the last half of 2025 and beyond.  We GET to be a part of this.  We GET to be a change agent simply by standing.  Yes, YOU have what is needed for this moment.  Now is not the time to throw your hands up.  Now is the time to take a deep breath and watch the glorious show unfolding in the days ahead.  Yes, there will be shockers.  BUT all we need to know is that those shockers are proof that God is shaking what can be shaken (Heb. 12:27-28)!  Thankful to be Your daughter, my King.  “The kingdom of God doesn’t come by counting the days on the calendar. Nor when someone says, ‘Look here!’ or, ‘There it is!’ And why? Because God’s kingdom is already among you.” (Luke 17:21 MSG) It’s time to wake up, and be who we were born to be.  Let’s win this war, as God has intended.
