I still love that Kathy with the beautiful and anointed voice. I also loved her awesome style on the piano. She is sooo immensely missed.
When we were recording, the owner of the studio (who had a rock band and played many of the big rock venues along the Gulf Coast) told a friend of ours, “I can feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit all over this room.”

The Crystalaires singing “I’ve Got Confidence” The Crystalaires: Marty Gabler, Kathy Buchanan Gabler and Alice Gabler Ogilvie recorded “I’ve Got Confidence” (written by Andre Crouch) in 1969. Kathy is singing the lead and playing piano. The Crystalaires opened for Andre on one occasion when he sang in Houston. Marty and Alice’s father pastored Jensen Drive Assembly of God and they sang there every Sunday morning that they were not traveling as a trio and preacher.
