Marty Gabler—In 2025 I am praying to see a lot of posts that start with: “Hey, you guys, we just got another miracle!!!

Ending and Beginning
Melissa Gabler—Perspective Shift: Perhaps the intense nature of the end of one intense year and the beginning of another is not a foretelling of the hardship to come, but rather the shedding of the things that have kept us bound to cycles of failure.

Identify the Weapons Formed Against Us
Marty Gabler—I declare that in 2025 Father God will enable us to identify the weapons that have been formed against our children, loved ones and nation. Isa.54:17 says, “no weapon formed against you shall prosper.” Theologians have said Ps.74:16 is an announcement of the universal dominion of God. “The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have established the [starry] light and the sun.” (Ps.74:16) He has dominion over all and over all things. Therefore, nothing may be kept from His awareness nor from His ability to intervene. He will disperse light upon whatsoever He will. He sees into the darkness–nothing is hidden. Nothing may remain hidden and therefore, nothing can possibly be a surprise. Wisdom is to access His knowledge. Seeking His face in particular about this matter and giving Him opportunity and time to speak will bring His knowledge of those weapons and wisdom to pray and declare concerning them. Declare: “No weapon formed against my children or my church or my nation shall prosper.”

What a Great Year to be Alive!
Melissa Gabler — What a great, great year to be alive! We GET to not only see the shift, we get to BE the shift. Yes, the glory of God is going to be not only seen, but known. And it’s not because things just got that bad, it’s because things and people (this includes you) are now in place for undeniable God elements. Get ready.

What of the New Year?
What of the New Year? — Paths & Old History
16-This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves… 18-“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. 19-Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. (Isa.43:16, 18-19, Msg)

Battle Weary?
(Kathy Gabler)–If you are battle-weary, I believe the new year will bring welcomed changes. I’m not implying battles will stop suddenly and everybody goes on vacation. I’m saying many long-term battles will end because you finally win. “Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around” (MSG, Pro 13:12). I expect some sudden good breaks in the year to come.

What we Don’t get Over Today
Going into the new year or new season or new opportunities requires adjustments, decisions and determination on our part. When Israel left old Egypt for the new promised land, they increased the difficulty of the transition by
taking old issues, and resultant attitudes, with them. It is OK to take a wilderness experience into promise. We all have some kind of wilderness experience at some point in life, if not several of them. Having gone through the not-so-fun wilderness events, we tend to come out on the other end with negative residue on us. Not “washing off” the residue of the past will taint the tomorrow of promise. It is OK to go into promise with a wilderness experience. But is destructive to go into promise with a wilderness heart. What we don’t leave in the wilderness, trips us up in the promised land. Achan’s family, as well as himself, suffered the consequences of a wilderness heart in the promised land (Josh. 7). What we don’t get over today, overcomes us tomorrow.

Show me the Path
May the Lord prosper you in the path of life that He has ordained for you in 2019. May He show you the life He has placed in that path for you and may you impart life in that ordained path. And when you have gone down that path this year, there will be many who will never be the same because you are a bearer of His life which is redemptive. Joy to you all year. “You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” (Ps.16:11, Amp)

Purposed to Run
As the people of God assemble today, may they see plainer than ever the road that they are purposed to run in the new year. May one be an
encouragement to another to steadily get on down the path this year that leads to success for our Lord’s plan.
“…I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences.” Eph.4:1b-3, Msg)

Wrapping up Tattered Ends
A huge, muscular draft horse was pulling a weighted sled in a competition. The horse was obviously straining forward with every ounce of strength he could muster and was making some progress. But he was, with every step, getting closer and closer
to a definite stopping point. It didn’t matter that he had dragged the heavy steel sled farther than any of the other horses in the competition, he still came to a sudden halt. It just happened to be a halt that was a bit farther down the track than the other horses’ halts. The “Year End Wrap Up” theme seems to speak to the need to not drag old stuff from the previous year (or even previous years) into the new year. Even though it is a burden, we tend to wrestle with old issues that seem to never get settled or worked out and we just continue to take them along with us into the future.
Lethargy, wavering commitment, fear and neglect are some of the weights that make for burdensome sleds that we drag with us from one season to the next. There are issues to resolve before the end of this year that would be easier dealt with and resolved more readily without adding the laborious task of not having ended things well. It is time for a season in our lives where we “wrap up” what has been left at tattered ends.

Make a Fresh Start
Occasionally in life, we tend to put ourselves in relationships and situations that effectively serve to block any progress which we have thought we should have made by this point in life. The impassible wall our decisions make seems to just reach up and block the wind that would fill our sails and move us to a much more desirable haven. Now, today, is the time to call on God and move with God. (Ps.51:10) “God, make a fresh start in me, shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life… 12 Bring me back from gray exile, put a fresh wind in my sails!” We are praying you discover daily that your sails are full of the wind of the Spirit of God and you are by-passing old stopping points. (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24hrs/day.)

Expectancy For The Extraordinary
May the Lord wash and cleanse you from every failure, every doubt and every judgment from others so that you may enter the New Year with expectancy for the extraordinary of Jahweh all through the coming year.
“26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Eph.5:26-27
