Take Hold of Plan A

This is the time to loose your grasp on plan B and take hold, with both hands, of Cross roads with plan A plan B road signsplan A — Father’s original intent for your life. If your answer is hidden, ask God what the right question is in this moment.  Ask Him what, in you, might be hindering the answer.  Ask Him what you need to know today.  He’s got plans for you, He is not into punishing you.  His M.O. is all about forgiveness, redemption, relationship, and promotion, all for His glory. Hey, if He tells you it’s simply about timing then it’s really that simple.  His timing is perfect.  Look at the birth and life of Samuel.  Perseverance is key!  It’s going to be an amazing time on into next year.  Get ready for your answers.  –Melissa Gabler

The Night Vision

Marty recently dreamed that he, Melissa and I went into a region of the U.S. to free a young woman from a prison of prostitution. Praying in the Spirit, we were all NightCloudsMoonpropelled through barriers, breaching the stronghold she was in. The battle was an intervention and the details were so specific and graphic that he awoke in a sweat and sought me out to see if I too had had the dream. While a rehearsal dream can be as impacting as a night vision, its purpose is to equip us for the future and we awake with a deposit of confidence that comes because we have already experienced something. The night vision is not only about equipping, it is about accomplishing a task. Such divinely orchestrated assignments can move us through dimensions to a God-appointment with stealth. The enemy doesn’t know we are coming, and he cannot explain the defeat his stronghold suffered when we leave. The follow-up action to a night vision is an “amen,” a “so be it,” to seal the outcome that was literally acquired. Could such translation to complete a task happen in daylight hours? Yes, mature sons can get mature results in whatever rules of engagement Father designs. –Kathy Gabler

As You Go

Business People Walking on Sidewalk, New York City, New York, USA“AS YOU GO” about your Father’s business today, this week and the remainder of this year, what you accomplish will far exceed your abilities and learned knowledge. You will have delightful discoveries that your Father’s hand is working beyond your immediate awareness. You will be involved in His workings without having to launch yourself for a particular mission. He will use you and you will accomplish matters for His Kingdom “AS YOU GO”. You will accomplish more “accidentally” than the enemy will accomplish on purpose. Matt 10:7  “And AS YOU GO, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

God-Perspective That Equips

I have been seeing God’s hand moving behind a curtain on a stage.  That has kept handpullcurtainme anticipating the curtain rising in my understanding.  Little by little an expectation has grown in me that we are about to see many things the Holy Spirit has been adjusting, rearranging, developing, redeeming, restoring and maturing.  I don’t think there will be some colorful, feel good, fairy tale play behind those curtains, rather a stage set with details that bring clarity and a God-perspective that equips us, literally showing us another way to think and perceive and prevail.  I have a feeling the curtain will rise on insights that adjust our mode of operation and strategies and change our outcomes. –Kathy Gabler

Point Out the Path

As the people of God assemble today, may He use our instructors to clearly point out the path for us to walk on. May we hear and see all the truths, directions and wise instructions that bring us to the path of Light so that we may go victoriously throughout our lives displaying the worth and value of a life lived according to the unfailing Word of God. May unbelievers observe and inquire about the road that Jesus pioneered for us. “. . . Point out the road I must travel; I’m all ears, all eyes before you.” (Ps.143:8, Msg)

May the Lord Fight for Us

May the Lord help us to get done everything we need to get done this year. May we be able to reach cooperative contacts who will facilitate linking us up with the people and resources necessary for our goals. May filled-out forms and applications gain the notice of those who have the capability to act in accordance with our needs. May the Lord hold in check those who might try to take advantage of our situation and include more steps than necessary in order to charge more than is necessary. May the Lord fight in our behalf. “The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.” (Ex.14:14, Amp)

Lines Falling in Pleasant Places

This is the day the Lord has made so…
I will rejoice because the Lord has caused the lines to fall for me in pleasant places, I have a good heritage and He is working by His Word and His Spirit to deliver me from the limitations of any negative portions of my heritage. “The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.” (Ps.16:6)

Engaging His Design

2019 is the time period the Lord has made (Ps.118:24). We will rejoice because the Lord has made it in keeping with His purposes and plans. It is a time period that we may not thoroughly understand nor have a complete grasp of. Yet, the times are in His hand (Ps.31:15). Throughout 2019 we will continue to rejoice because the all-wise God is not behind the times nor even trying to catch up. He has already stepped out into tomorrow and bids us come and partake in His worthy enterprise and we will engage His design with energy and expectation of the extraordinary. May the Lord grant you every enabling blessing for His Kingdom purposes in 2019.

Standing Strong

(Kathy Gabler)–Trust is not refusing to think or just being purposely passive.  It takes deliberate effort not to teeter-totter in the contrary winds of circumstances or emotions.  In order to stay in the steadiness of trust, we must choose to ease down from uptight stress or climb up out of the mulligrubs of disappointment.  If you picture a sure-footed stand on either side of that middle balance-point of a seesaw, you can see that standing strong and keeping your head straight (not leaning to our own understanding but trusting in the Lord with all our heart, Pro 3:5) involves a bend of the knee while you counter the ups and downs of life.  The effort is outward, but the rest from threats and what-ifs is inward.  So at the very least, stillness that comes from trusting God can bring us to physical healing just because it brings relief from stress.  Trust is being still because you know He is God, and trust works in tandem with faith to experience God’s will being done.  I believe we can see it in Heb 11:6, Anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.  We believe He exists because we have faith in His word, and trust is our confidence that He can be approached and will respond.  Sometimes I think our trust in God is shaken because we don’t see the results we thought faith promised.  At those times, being still and refusing to be shaken may boil down to holding on to God more than what we thought He said or what we thought He meant. (Fifth excerpt from Kathy’s article “Trust Gives God Access” Vol.22Iss3)

Hear Distinctly

As the people of God assemble today, may they hear distinctly as they are taught the Word of God. May the preachers and teachers give them the message in such a way that the people can get the sense of it, understand it and apply it with powerful effect all week long.  “So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.” (Neh.8:8, NKJV)

How to Pierce an Atmosphere

(Kathy Gabler)–Jesus demonstrated how to pierce an atmosphere.  He did it when He acknowledged the woman with the issue of blood.  His acknowledgment, without condemnation, pierced the atmosphere of traditions that limit life and steal destiny.  He pierced the atmosphere that was filled with the fear of death when He spoke to Jairus of his daughter saying, “Do not be afraid any longer; merely entrust this to Christ, and she will be made well.”  Jesus’ words pierced the atmosphere and served as a heads-up to the prince of the power of the air over Jarius’ region.  That atmosphere filled with unbelief was about to shatter.  The stronghold of experience and natural limitations was crumbling, bowing to a Higher order.  Jesus set the rules of engagement in Lk 8:51 “ When He came to the house, He did not allow anyone to enter with Him, except Peter and John and James, and the girl’s father and mother.” Then He pierced the powers-that-be again, “He said, “Stop weeping, for she has not died, but is asleep.”  The first blow shook every power of darkness lurking in the smothering, toxic air, and then He delivered the second blow in verse 54, “He, however, took her by the hand and called, saying, “Child, arise!”

Glory of God Through Us

The glory of God through us, His creation, is not our putting forth effort to hit an ideal or to align with a creed or even getting to heaven. It’s accomplishing things that show His character, His Name in this earth in spite of the influence of culture. That which is in heaven comes to earth through an earthen vessel (Jer.18:4-6; Matt.6:10) and continually points back to its Source in heaven (Matt.5:16).

Renewing Your Mind

(Larry Burden)– In Paul’s letter to Timothy, he instructs his son to “call to remembrance …” (2 Timothy 1:5) The words, “remembrance” and “remember” in scripture come from a root that means “recite or invoke”. Simply put, remembering results in action and as such becomes a power releaser in your life. If you rehearse a memory, you empower it! Scientific study has shown that whenever a thought or event occurs, it immediately is processed through a part of the brain known as “the memory gateway”. Each time you recall that thought or event it becomes more and more activated to the final point of becoming “set” in your mind. If you focus on negative thoughts and events, your words and emotions will become governed by negativity. If you focus on positive thoughts and events, then the opposite occurs. The good news is that whenever negative thoughts are revisited and truth is added to them, truth will SHIFT the mindset and alter your perception. It is called RENEWING YOUR MIND!  (LARRY BURDEN is speaking this morning at Kingdom Congress) Watch live on the Facebook page of Grace International Church Willis,TX)

On the Defense

(Melissa Gabler)–The initial hit from the enemy might require you to go on the defense, but you never stay there.  I will explain this in a tactical way.  I have been taking self-defense classes for over four years. One of my instructors recently said, “We teach you to defend yourself one time.  We will never teach you to stay in a defensive position.  You must counter, control, and finish the fight.”  Well, my goodness.  What strategy!  After you defend yourself one time from your enemy’s attack you then strike back with the weapons and skill God has given you.  You can’t stay just in the defensive position.  You propel forward because He already set up your counter measures and you are well armed, and able!  What are your counter measures?  Number one: Scripture. Number two: your Holy Spirit-breathed prophetic words.  Other than that, whatever God has personally set up for you.  Ask Him to show you and open your eyes to see!  Don’t get bogged down in the fear of it.  Look for His provision because it is already there.  Isaiah 54:17-“no weapon formed against you shall prosper” is not an afterthought.  It is solid forethought!(Melissa Gabler is speaking at Kingdom Congress this morning,)

Dreams and Previews

(Kathy Gabler)—When considering a dream, don’t be quick to assume the dream was a literal preview or warning.  People are usually quick to think any upset, uneasiness or troubling is a warning of impending danger or grief, but more often dreams are exposing a troubling within rather than warning of one to come.  If God does send a warning dream or vision, it is to call you to effectual action, not just trouble you.  Father would only send warning dreams to put you in motion, not put you in fear or dread. (Fourth excerpt from “Continuing to Consider Dreams and Visions”)

Awesome Reports

In 2019 I am praying to see a lot of posts that start with:

Hey, you guys, you’re not gonna believe this awesome report. . . !!!!!”

More to Come

As the people of God assemble today may His people have a sense of the more that is to come of His purposes and His outpourings in 2019. May the hope of receiving and participating fill their hearts with expectancy.  In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary–we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!” (Rom.5:5, Msg)

Power to be Fruitful

As the people of God assemble today, may they be infused with Holy Spirit power to be fruitful all the year ahead.  May vision and empowerment come to each one.  I pray that the fruit our Lord gives you and your church this year will be like the net the disciples had to call for help to draw in.  May there be such a bounty that the net would be near bursting with the catch. May your net be strong and hold. “So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net to land, full of large fish, 153 of them; and [though] there were so many of them, the net was not torn.” (Jn.21:11, Amp)

Imagination Available to God

We must do something to see beyond our norm. What about an imagination that is available to God? Do we only see the mundane and the predictable and then do we pray and limit our expectations from that mundane perspective?

Have we sentenced ourselves to only praying within the predictable because of past disappointments and the conclusions of others? Children run around with a towel tied around their neck imagining that they can fly, imagining they are super heroes until we talk them out of it. As the New Year approaches let’s neglect the tendency to allow our constant consideration of our limitations to prevail and let’s reach for those new horizons where God delights in showing His kids things they have never seen. “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jer.33:3, NKJV)

God is Greater

Take all your needs and problems and stack them up.  When you see how great they stack up, then put that stack next to Almighty God.  He is greater than ALL your need.  “. . . God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves.” (1Jn.3:20, Msg)

Be Strengthened

As the people of God assemble today, may they be strengthened, encouraged, equipped and comforted by the gifts of Christ (Eph.4:11-12) and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1Cor.14:3) for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Strength for Fulfilling Purpose

May the Lord keep us in His timing by giving us health and prosperity so that we may be everything we need to be for our families for as long as we need to be it. May there be physical strength and mental acuity for fulfilling our responsibilities to loved ones and those the Lord has connected us to for His Kingdom purposes. May the Lord keep us from illness and disease that we may walk in His timing without faltering or coming up short of fulfillment.  “Moses was 120 years old when he died. His eyesight was sharp; he still walked with a spring in his step.” (Deut.34:7, Msg)
