To Him Who Sits on the Throne

As the people of God assemble today may they consider Yeshua Whose name is above all names and Who is seated enthroned above all, and glorify Him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”  7  “I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. 8 ‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. (Ps.2:6-8, NASB)

Blessing, Favor and Trust

MSG6-15-14Melissa — Blessing and favor follow those who trust.  Ps.84:6 “Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; The early rain also covers it with blessings.” Trust gets us through hard times so that we don’t make it our dwelling, and trust makes the hard times fruitful for not only us, but others.  Trust is not a selfish act.  Vs. 7 “They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power]; Each of them appears before God in Zion.”  Well, that’s a mouth full! Trust causes strength, and it removes the clouds of doubt so that we can see God.  Vs. 10 “For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather stand [as a doorkeeper] at the threshold of the house of my God than to live [at ease] in the tents of wickedness.”

Believe in the Rock

Emails and Face Book posts definitively describe “this” which is expected to happen and “that” which is said to be inevitable. But before any of those persons or entities or their agendas existed, Jehovah God said, “I lay in Zion a Chief Cornerstone” (1Pe. 2:6). Jesus is the Rock (1Cor.10:4) and He is greater than anything that opposes you, your family, your church, your community or this nation. Rom.9:33, Amp — “Behold I am laying in Zion a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offense; And he who believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].”

The New Era and the Church Trampling

Jahweh is raising up His church in this new era. He is raising up His church to transform nations over night. We are getting past religious ineffectiveness and a defeated sense of eschatology and coming to Zion, to the place of the throne of God which is a place of power and dominion. Perhaps we should rehearse John’s exhortation to us that “…as He [JESUS] is, so are we in this world.” (1Jn.4:17) It would then follow that our Lord JESUS IS sitting on the right hand of the throne of Almighty God in the heavenly places (1:20) and that we, like Him, are also sitting with Him [authoritatively positioned] in heavenly places in Christ (2:6). Therefore, there should be authority, power and dominion displayed such as it was when JESUS was on the earth, especially since it is the determined will of God to now show His multi-layered, redemptive wisdom to powers and principalities through the church (Eph.3:10). A Motivation For Worship

PraiseAndWorship1The ark of God was moved to Mount Zion and “worship” continued as before on Mount Gibeon without the ark – the presence of God.  There are some people who get used to doing things one way. Only one particular routine becomes acceptable and any changes bring resentment.  Likely human personalities will swing wide their gates to be used in a Michal-style resentment (2Sam.6:20).  That resentment is not portrayed simply because it is the right of each American to express how they feel.  It is made known as an intimidation.  “Back off or you will get more of this.”   Please allow me to point out the response scripture records that David had for Michal: And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour (2Sam 6:22). And this was David’s motivation in worship:  “And David said unto Michal, It was BEFORE THE LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: THEREFORE I WILL PLAY BEFORE THE LORD” (2Sam 6:21).  (1.) He had a motivation for worship and for change;  (2.) His motivation was correct;  (3.) His motivation was his courage.
