His Footprints Were in the Bottom of the Red Sea
MARTY GABLER—A great example of scripture that shows us God has already moved in our tomorrow and what we can anticipate is Ps.77:19. (CEV) “You walked through the water of the mighty sea, but your footprints were never seen.” And The Message version says: “You strode right through Ocean, walked straight through roaring Ocean, but nobody saw you come or go.” God’s footprints were already in the bottom of the Red Sea before Israel ever left Egypt! An updated comparison might be: before they walked into 2025, God walked through the Red Sea in 2024. No one saw His footprints because they were looking at the circumstances with the considerations of the present age (cf. Rom 12:2). They had stopped considering God’s Word and had started considering the appearance of present circumstances. Most of them were looking back at Egypt wishing they had never screwed up the courage to walk out; desiring captivity and limited possibilities rather than trusting a God whose “mercies are new every morning” (that is a very strong hint that we should anticipate God). There are no surprises awaiting God in the remainder of 2025. His footprints are already out there in 2026. We are anticipating a Participating God who cannot be surprised.

Know the Sea-Splitter?
Most everyone desires to simply read about a sea-splitting God rather than being the one who was on the course that He had to split the sea for. There are a lot of people out there, there is a nation out there who need to hear from someone who has experienced, first-hand, the undeniable power of the Sea-Splitter. But they
are only going to hear it from someone who has stayed the course in spite of threat and pressure. Jos.2:9-11, Msg — “Before the spies were down for the night, the woman came up to them on the roof and said, “I know that God has given you the land. We’re all afraid. Everyone in the country feels hopeless. We heard how God dried up the waters of the Red Sea before you when you left Egypt, and what he did to the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you put under a holy curse and destroyed. We heard it and our hearts sank. We all had the wind knocked out of us. And all because of you, you and God, your God, God of the heavens above and God of the earth below.”

While Standing at the Beginning
God speaks the end while standing at the beginning (Isa.46:9-10). After speaking the end God must begin looking for some folks who will stay the course so that particular end may be realized. Someone must stay the course out of Egypt and remain standing before the Red Sea (without demanding relief) until it splits—so there can be witness to the fact that this God truly is a sea-splitter. Isa.46:9-10, TPT—“Remember the miracles of long ago. Acknowledge that I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is none like me. 10 I declare from the beginning how it will end and foretell from the start what has not yet happened. I decree that my purpose will stand, and I will fulfill my every plan.”

The Kingdom and the Child
The passage of Mk.10:15 is not talking about getting to heaven. It is talking about the authority, power, rule of God. Mk.10:15 “…Whosoever shall not receive the
kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” “As a child” paints the picture of a child who is always full of anticipation. Embracing that picture, we will not try bringing to God our agendas, preconceived ideas, preferences, and hearts/minds with no imagination available to God. Out of the four million Israelites trapped against the Red Sea, how many do you think used their imagination to encourage the others that God would use the rod of Moses to part the sea so they could cross over on dry ground? They were stuck in the mindset of powerless servants who would not allow their minds to go beyond the typical thought processes of a subjugated people. A merciful God sent the prophet Moses with a word for them that would enable them to move beyond those old mental habits.

In That Very Instant
With God, what you do not see in this moment is entirely possible in the next moment. (1) The Red Sea did not part until Moses stretched out his rod over the
water; (2) 5,000 people remained hungry until Jesus began to break the bread and fish of a small boy’s lunch; (3) Bartemaeus was blind until Jesus spoke to him: “On your way,” said Jesus. “Your faith has saved and healed you. IN THAT VERY INSTANT he recovered his sight and followed Jesus down the road.” (Mk.10:52); (4) large, stone vessels had no wine in them until the water reached the rim of the vessels. Those who witnessed the condition of the person or circumstance in each of those situations were not watching to see the outcome that was brought about by the instant intervention of Yahweh, but in each case there was at least one person available to be a cooperating partner with Yahweh’s intention.

Memorial to God’s Faithfulness
As the people of God assemble today, may they lift their hearts in praise as they remember what the faithful God of Israel has done and is yet
doing to keep His promises to Israel and those who look to Him as their Lord and their God. May they not ever forget that there is a memorial to His power and His mercy in that He parted the waters of the Red Sea and of the Jordan and He is still actively making a way where there is no way. “Then ye shall answer them, That the waters of Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it passed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off; and these stones shall be FOR A MEMORIAL unto the sons of Israel FOR EVER.” (Josh.4:7)

The God of Miracles
The Lord God Jehovah, the Lord God Almighty, Elohim, He is this day, not just in the Old Testament, not just in the New Testament, not just in moves in Europe hundreds of years ago, but is this day, worldwide, the God of miracles. Not only is He the God of miracles of the faith healer but
He is the God of you when you need a miracle. You can take all of your needs, every one of them no matter how severe and you can pile them up in one pile and they will not even be a molehill compared to the power of your miracle-working God Who spoke worlds into existence, Who parted the Red Sea when a Hebrew stretched a stick over the waters. It was not the Hebrew who parted the waters, it was your miracle-working God. You can take all of the stresses of all of the complex personalities involved in your situation and you can put them in the pile and they won’t even be a speck compared to the power of your miracle-working God. The Lord your God would even note to you that you can stack up all of the stresses that are known this day in international news around the globe and they will still only be a speck compared to your all-wise, loving, beneficent, heavenly Father. So load me up today, says your God. Try me and see if I cannot fulfill my Word, for I can fulfill my Word. This is a day of reckoning for the powers of darkness and I would have my people call upon me to do great and mighty things that they have not yet seen me do. (Marty gave this word 4-23-17 at Grace International Church in Willis,TX)

2017 Declaration #5
In 2017 we will begin to anticipate Red Sea interventions. (Kid’s Declaration: 5. We are ready to see God do impossible things.) When we find ourselves in
difficult situations, we will begin to call upon the Lord and begin to anticipate Red Sea interventions and feeding-the-5,000 interventions. Instead of desperately crying out, “What in the world will we do now?”, we will cry out, “What is God doing that we have never seen before?” What do I need to do so I can participate? Let’s go through 2017 doing what we can to get doubt out of the way of progress. We will be doubt removers. ”I write this to you whose experience with God is as life-changing as ours, all due to our God’s straight dealing and the intervention of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” (2Pe.1:1, Msg)
(Declaration #5 from the 2017 Declarations. The Kid’s version was written by Brian and Hannah Sherman.)

When Water Acts Differently
“I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.” (Jer.29:11, GW) God’s plans for His own continue regardless of present circumstances. Consider: (1) Israel went through the bottom of the Red Sea on dry ground. The Red Sea, the water, was prevented from functioning like water. Though Israel was surrounded by water, it did not function like water where they were concerned. The same water (circumstances) functioned like water upon Pharaoh’s army but not on Israel (Cf.Ex.8:22-23;9:4,26;10:22-23;11:7;Isa.60:1-3). God Almighty caused water to act differently, He altered circumstances, because it was required to fulfill His promises and get His people to destiny.
