Marty—There is a door open before us and we are called to press through. 1Corinthians 16:9-10 “There is a wide-open door for a great work…” There is something worth pressing through to on the other side. It is a day-by-day pressing. The matter of walking with the Lord and trusting the Lord is day in and day out (Deut.5:33). We are pressing and shall press through because the pressing is leading to another level, to things in God and God’s Kingdom agenda that we have never seen or experienced.

As the people of God assemble today may they realize wide-opened doors have been opened by the King of Kings for great work to be done in His Kingdom. May they press through opposition as they move step by step and day by day. May they hunger and desire to move toward the next level and Kingdom purpose that their heavenly Father has for them to effectively function in. Isa.54:2-3,Amp—“2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, 3 For you will spread abroad to the right hand and to the left; and your offspring will possess the nations and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.”

In His wisdom Father has placed opportunities & choices before us (Deut.30:19; Matt.7:13). Whether or not we go through the many divinely-ordained opened doors God has put before us this year will depend upon how we make decisions this year. There are many doors open before you. They are not just barely cracked open but wide open for His Kingdom purposes, for His Name’s sake.

At times the future is depicted by a picture of an open door. The way to the future, to fulfillment, to glorifying the Name of the Most High God is open before us now—wide open. There are open doors before us to take us where we have never been before. We will go through those doors and be successful because the Kingdom purposes of God for us in our generation will propel us there to glorify His Name. (Rev.3:8) There are open doors. However, there is a process of decision-making that we must give ourselves to. We must choose the way of life or of death (Jer.21:8). God commands us to choose life instead of death, and blessing instead of a curse. We have choices to make as to how days, events and people affect us; as to how we will affect those days, events and people. We can be bearers of life or of death, blessing or curses.

As the people of God assemble today may they be an encouragement to one another that each one go through God-ordained doors. May they walk through them, run through them and if they have to, battle through them! (1Cor.16:9) ”for a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”

There have been unknown, unnamed people who have had an impact on a nation because they were in a place where God wanted them to be to release what He had put in them to release. God can put you in a position where someone else can open a door for you that you would have never been able to pry open on your most determined day.
