October is for Putting Things Behind Us

Marty—October is for putting things behind us. Just like we are in the tenth month of the year and the winter of this year is already behind us and the spring of this year is already behind us and the summer of this year is already behind us, we are putting disappointments, failures and lost opportunities behind us. We are not going to continue looking back at the past but turn around and face the future with its possibilities and its hopes.  Isaiah 43:18-19,GW—Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago.  19   I am going to do something new.  It is already happening. Don’t you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land.”   Isa.14:27—“The LORD of Hosts has purposed, and who can thwart Him? His hand is outstretched, so who can turn it back?”   Isa.46:10—“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”

A Vision of God Massaging a Heart

MELISSA—In one part of a vision God gave me (posted 9-23-22) I saw God’s hand began to massage a heart. In another part I saw 2 rows of white Roman columns as far as the eye could see. The columns I saw in the vision represented the church as we’ve known it, and this scene was looking to the West where the sun sets. The sun is setting on old traditional structures of the church. After the columns fell I began to hear a heartbeat.  It got so loud that the earth shook.  I looked back at the hole where the heart transplant was taking place, and with every beat of this new heart horrible black creatures began frantically crawling out of the hole.  Every beat drove more hordes out only for them to disintegrate as they tried to run.  A white light began filling the space that was once full of black slime and I heard “Ruach”.  Ruach means: spirit, wind, breathe (ex. Isaiah 11:2) and it was filling the pitch-black core of this nation. Once more I looked back toward the West where the columns had fallen and they were no longer there. In their place was lush greenery that was growing and I heard, Isa. 43:18-19 “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Start Recording a new History for Your Family

When faced with unexpected adversity in Numbers 21, unbelief spread throughout the Israelite camp like an epidemic and that resulted in fear, weeping and complaining. Giants and the terrible inhabitants of Canaan seemed too foreboding to resist. The land of milk and honey was no longer inviting to them. For the last 19 or 20 generations, Israel only had a physical history of slavery and were willing to walk back into that slavery if it meant they would have to part ways with the known and familiar. Start your own spiritual history no matter what your family history has been. Physical lack and/or physical infirmity may be all the history some families have to date. You be the one who refuses to walk back and embrace that old history. You be the one to break the cycle. Isa.43:18-19,Amp—“Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past.  19  “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

What of the New Year?

What of the New Year? — Paths & Old History
16-This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves…  18-“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history.  19-Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it?   There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. (Isa.43:16, 18-19, Msg)

Delay or Growing in Strength?

Melissa—I love this definition of “threshold”: A point at which something would take effect. There are things that take time to build and hone.  Some things that have seemed like massive delay are things that have been growing in strength, knowledge and size this whole time.  As much as it feels like we have been holding on for dear life just to make it, the truth is our Lord’s intention beyond our understanding has been building steam.  It’s been building to the point of taking effect. We are there.  We are at the threshold and stepping over.  So, even though things may not look different, you are.  What that means is you will now be able to handle things in an EFFECTIVE way.  If you decided to keep holding on, then you need to prepare for this threshold geyser to erupt! And to take it another step deeper, these kind of eruptions can’t help but cause awakening.  When the atmosphere begins to quake, blinders fall off and eyes open.  “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”  (Is. 43:18-19)

Keep Out Obsessing

Keep Out!–May the power of the Word of God and enablement of the Holy Spirit help us keep out tendencies to obsess over difficult people.   “Forget about what’s happened;  don’t keep going over old history.  19  Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new…” (Isa.43:18-19a, Msg)

HE is my Tomorrow

FlowersSunriseThe very first day of the world came into existence because God, who already existed brought it into existence. HE is my tomorrow. “Yes, from the time of the first existence of day and from this day forth I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder or reverse it?” (Isa.43:13, Amp) Jehovah cannot be kept out of tomorrow nor can His plans be stopped.
