The Saving Power of Jesus Christ

Marty Gabler—As the people of God assemble today may people be saved, healed and delivered by the saving power of Jesus Christ and His shed blood at Calvary.  “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” (Rom.1:16a, NKJV)

Thoughts of Freedom in Christ

As the people of God assemble today may their thoughts, their hearts and their actions be about freedom and liberty in Christ. May they rejoice in the freedom He has given them and may they impart that freedom to others through their love, compassion, words and actions.“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed” (Lk.4:18, GNT)

Gospel Powerful Enough to Change

Simon Purvis — Just wanting Jesus to return and take up a sword to avenge is the thinking of people who do not believe the Gospel is powerful enough to change a nation. His sword comes out of His mouth and His Gospel is powerful enough to ManHandsOnHeart.jpgshake and change nations and bring His government order in the earth. His Kingdom is ever increasing and the government is upon His shoulders, and of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end. The only one-world order coming is the Kingdom of God where Christ is King. The attempted one-world order that evil is trying to build, is just a carnal counterfeit to the real Kingdom of God coming to earth as in heaven. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” Jesus said His kingdom comes to get into the hearts of men to govern them from the inside. The Kingdom of God within us brings His order to our life, to family, to finances, to business and to the Church. (Simon Purvis will be speaking at Kingdom Congress March 5, 2020 at 11:00am.)

The Culture of the Kingdom

(Simon Purvis) — Jesus didn’t tell His disciples to go out and preach the gospel so a few people could go to heaven. He commissioned them to disciple the nations. The preaching of the gospel is to get people free from an evil age, getting people delivered from an evil culture over into an age where there is righteousness, where we can walk right, our families can be right, our character can be right. The church is a different culture than this age and God intends for the culture of the Kingdom of God in the church to change the society out there in the evil age. (From Bro. Simon’s message at KC2018)
