Possible to Fulfill God’s Plan

Marty Gabler—It is possible for an individual to fulfill God’s plan for his/her life (2Tim.4:7). There are some very basic factors about our makeup, and the makeup of others around us, that we can come to understand that will be of great value in continuing upon the path to that goal. Learning what that makeup looks like, accepting it and releasing ourselves to express it freely and fully, while recognizing and relating to others who have a different makeup, is key to success. When we begin to take notice of how God has “wired” us (or, simply, how God has made us) we can stay quite close to the trajectory our Lord has for His expression in our life’s walk. Then, not only are we more efficiently and obviously bringing glory to God but we are more fulfilled and satisfied and at peace in our lives.

Anticipation of God’s Kingdom Power

KATHY—Years ago some minister friends were imprisoned on a mission to India. We went to a multi-church gathering to pray for them.  During the intercession, Marty stood and prophesied that they would be released in three days and they were.  One of those pastors told his congregation when he got home, “I don’t know if Marty heard God’s plan or if God did it because Marty said it.”  Whether it was a realization of Father’s plan in advance or a son with a foretaste of his Father’s authority and backing, the obvious thing is that Anticipation of Kingdom Power thrives within the Father-son relationship and leads to Participation and Demonstration of God’s will in the earth.

God’s Plans Make Nobodies Into Key Players

manger scene2023KATHY — Growing up on Abraham Avenue, Zacharias, Elizabeth, Joseph and Mary had no idea how they would fit in the plans of God & the history of man. Amid all their lessons in history and prophecy from the Torah, they had never pictured themselves as key players in the greatest story ever told. However, their lives were divinely positioned for the plans of God. God intends your life to be spent to His glory. (Jer.29:11)

Both Hands on Plan A

MELISSA—This is the time to loose your grasp on plan B and take hold, with both hands, of plan A — Father’s original intent for your life. If your answer is hidden, ask God what the right question is in this moment. Ask Him what, in you, might be hindering the answer. Ask Him what you need to know today. He’s got plans for you, He is not into punishing you. His M.O. is all about forgiveness, redemption, relationship, and promotion, all for His glory. Hey, if He tells you it’s simply about timing then it’s really that simple. His timing is perfect. Look at the birth and life of Samuel. Perseverance is key! It’s going to be an amazing time heading into next year. Get ready for your answers.

Purposes of God Still Going Forward

GroupPointingAhead.jpgNothing of the purposes of God has been recalled or changed no matter what current events threaten or what predictions are being made. We are still supporting missions, buying equipment and investing in lives and planning for the future. If there are new problems to deal with now, that must mean that there are new solutions. It is not time to stop. “Speak to Israel that they go forward” (Ex 14:15).

Father Will Never Change His Mind

ShoulderHandCare.jpgIn this season of history, Jesus is still Immanuel, God with us.  Just as He was with Mary, Joseph, Zachariah and Elizabeth to intricately fulfill His CALL, in His TIME, on their lives, so He is with us, guarding and facilitating His intricate plans to fulfill His call on our lives.  He will never change His mind about what we were born to be and born to do, for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Times That God Moves Us

StandAtCrossroadsConsidering scriptural examples, I know I must be willing for God to move me if He sees such a necessity. Sometimes God moves us geographically or with reference to a career or status among our peers. Positioning and timing are high up on God’s list of imperatives (cf.Eph.1:9-10;Gal.4:4-5). There will, no doubt, be need for modifications in our point of reference and our understanding of God’s timing in order to bring the fulfillment of promise. God does not give gifts to be squandered but to bring the fruit forth from our lives that He desires to minister to others.

Stand Where Bid to Stand

May the people of God realize His continual presence and support. May they stand where bid to stand and do what they are bid to do with a heart to get it done. May they declare that they will be strong and courageous knowing that a wise God with a successful plan has called them to stand and declare, and believe and do. “Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. “ (Jos 1:7, NASB)
