Responsibility for the Prophetic
MELISSA GABLER—Personal Responsibility for the Prophetic Lifestyle: (1.) Read the Bible. Reading the Bible keeps you familiar with God’s ways. God highlights and pinpoints scriptures for wisdom, action, prayer, declaration, etc. (2.) Pray… specifically in tongues. It keeps your eyes and ears open. Ephesians 3:16, 20-21- “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Praying in tongues charges our spirit man. The spirit (inner man) needs to be charged way more than the soul does. Praying in tongues brings that charge which in turn brings clarity. “Your soul drinks in what your ears and eyes and emotions are exposed to all day. The only way you can renew your mind and take dominion over the demonic assault on your feelings and thoughts is to be filled with the Spirit!” (Lance Wallnau).

Must Speak and Act
Storms have been diverted, effects of storms have been shut down and flood water has been held back by the hand of God. Not long ago, one of this nation’s enemies was testing a bomb underground
and it accidentally blew up destroying the facility along with many of the enemy. Missiles aimed for strategic areas of Israel have been diverted to explode harmlessly in the desert. An illusive attacker of many women in London was finally caught by a Christian policeman after a church in the area prayed and declared his capture would be by a Christian. All of these things happened when prayer groups agreed and decreed. We can pray and declare that murderers, hijackers and rapists will take themselves out with their own weapons. We have power over the enemy but we must speak and act. (Marty will be speaking at Kingdom Congress March 6, 2019.)

Coming Like A Gust Of Wind
Declaration 5.—OUR LORD IS COMING LIKE A GUST OF WIND
Unrighteousness and injustice are filling the nostrils like a foul odor and leaving a bad taste in the mouths of the coming generation. They will no longer be spoon-fed the tired and fruitless dogma of humanism and the encroachment and centralization of government. They will refuse to allow their vote to be bought with catch-phrases and empty political propaganda. Their hearts are being turned to a future that is worth living for their children. They are turning their hearts to truth and to biblical values.
Jn.3:8 “The wind blows where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going…” (Amp)
Ps. 18:10 “…he soared on the wings of the wind.”
No matter how high the walls that are built, they can’t keep God out.

Provision Before Problem
Though I didn’t realize it, that worshipful, prophetic declaration that day at the piano was also a cry from my heart for a moment of comfort and quietness that would shut out all the noise of need and concern and “what-ifs.” The awesome Spirit of my God did not miss nor ignore that heart-cry. If desperation had my ship listing, His four-word echo set me aright. If anxiety was smothering, His words brought me a deep breath. If time was threatening, His words turned the clock back. If I feared I was at an unchangeable end, hope took me back to a new beginning. He was reminding me that before circumstances piled up, before dysfunction developed, before trouble troubled, He had seen it coming, and He had the table set for me before my enemies even got there. When I said, “You are the Lord of this moment” and He echoed, “And the moment before,” it was a powerful reminder that His provision is there before the problem.
(This is the second excerpt from Kathy’s article “Clear The Air” which was published in Volume 18 Issue 4 of their ministry magazine SEEC Magazine. Excerpts will be posted Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.)
