Pressing Through to See What the Eye Has Not Seen

As the people of God assemble today may they find those of like heart and vision and, along with them, begin to encourage and press through to victories and seeing manifestations of the promises and Hand of Yahweh such as they never have in past experience. 1Cor.2:9,Amp—“But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].”

You Haven’t Seen Everything

Sometime back we were battling with considerable financial and physical matters. Every solution I could think of was blocked and I couldn’t see any resolve, even on the horizon. Through the course of those days it seemed that a sense of panic would creep up in my gut. Honestly, I had come to the conclusion that we were in a pit that was hopeless.

After wrestling with this insurmountable dilemma for about two weeks, and arriving at certain negative conclusions (trying to choke back panic and hopelessness), I dreamed that I was standing in a huge, wide-open warehouse. I noticed a man walking toward me. When he got right in front of me he stopped and looked me right in the eye. He raised his hand, pointed at me and, matter-of-factly said, “You haven’t seen everything.” Then I woke up.

My foregone conclusions had me convinced that I had exhausted all possibilities because I felt I had seen everything (in all my musings and mental exercises) that might be brought to bear on the difficulties, and those things just simply were not available to us as a solution.

A trembling began down deep inside as I realized that the word in the dream was absolutely correct. I had not seen everything. Within 72 hours the whole thing turned around! Please understand that you have not seen everything. Not only have you not seen everything, but there are things that have not yet been formed in your behalf. (Compare Job 26:12-14; Isa.48:6-7; 1Cor.2:9) The cloud “the size of a man’s hand” did not begin to form until Elijah’s servant walked down to the sea and looked the seventh time (1K.18:44). Because the Kingdom is advancing and bringing with it facilitation for purpose “some of the best days of your life haven’t happened yet.” The Kingdom is advancing and, as you are in the Kingdom, it is advancing you with it.

Get Ready For Extraordinary Events

We received a call from a pastor of a small church. There had been several logistical problems leading up to the service time that past Sunday and only a small number of people ended up being in attendance. He was thinking, “Wow, we just barely have enough people here today to have a service.” The service started and a group of strangers walked in and filled one whole row of seats. A few minutes later a man leading a few other people walked in and took a seat on the back row. A minute or two later another man walked in with a couple of people. Then a few minutes later yet another man walked in with some people and sat down. By this time the room is about half full. The pastor said that all the people entered into worship and were obviously not strangers to the presence of the Lord. At the end of the service the pastor thought, “I need to get back there and introduce myself and find out who all these people are.” To get quickly to the point, each of those three men were billionaires. None of the three knew each other but each of the three said that God had told them to be there for that service. They had each flown there in their private planes, one of them from Asia—just for that service. They each donated supplies to the church’s disaster relief project where they were ministering to the city. Each of the billionaires had come across the church’s website which presented their outreach to the city and each of them wanted to come and see the church and meet the pastor to see if it all was for real. Later, at lunch, the pastor and his family were talking about what had just transpired. The pastor said, “I just don’t understand what has happened!” and he was literally trembling at the awesome thing God had done. His daughter said, “Dad, don’t you remember the prophecy Marty Gabler gave you two months ago? He said that you should get ready for God to move in extraordinary ways, in ways that you would not ever think of. This was one of those extraordinary events.”  (Eighth excerpt from Marty’s article “Embracing a New Era”; Marty will be ministering prophetically at KINGDOM CONGRESS 2018 Mar.7-9. New Mindsets for New Era

Consider the nation of Israel when they were murmuring about the food situation in the wilderness in Exodus Chapter 16. That whole scenario was an opportunity for every person involved to stop, look and listen to what was transpiring and conclude that these were not just a series of events that were simply to be written down in a history book somewhere. When they woke up that first morning of the manna event they discovered something so extraordinary that they didn’t know what to call it. So, they ended up calling it “what is it?” (v.15). They, however, did not adjust to the new era and did not change their thinking and old habits. They continued trying to operate by old mindsets, did not heed the instructions of Moses and ended up with a smelly, undesirable mess (v.20). A new era cannot be new and cannot be the vehicle carrying us to new results if we intend operating in the mindsets of the old era. The never-before-experienced extraordinary of the new season turned to waste and to something that was untenable because the Israelites refused to operate by the tenets of the new (v.19). A new threshold serves little or no purpose if we have no intention of operating in the new with the respective new mindset. New eras are themselves announcements of new norms.

The Extraordinary of Heaven

We are in an era of history when nothing less than the extraordinary of Heaven is required in the earth. We cannot and will not look for those things offered by mere religious sentiment that serve as nothing more than band-aids covering the unresolved issues and fruitless programs of western
religion. We must lift up our heads from where we are and look to where there is transforming power and radical answers that change individuals and grip them with an insatiable vision for the Kingdom of Heaven in the earth. We must reach up and get hold of God’s extraordinary which is more than a span of revival meetings that gives us temporary relief from the mundane. The mundane must be invaded in such a way that we do not simply return to it after a brief respite and after things are trying to sink back into “business as usual”.  (Second excerpt from Marty’s article “Embracing a New Era”;  Marty will be ministering prophetically at KINGDOM CONGRESS 2018  March 7-9. Seeing and Hearing Good Things

How long has it been since you were delightfully surprised so that your heart leaped with joy? Have you ever come to the place in your life of seeing something you thought you would never get to see? Sudden discovery is a delight to the heart of persons of all ages. Finding something that is of personal value to you is like a treasure that brings great joy. There are blessings you have not yet received. There are victories you have not yet walked in. How do I know? (1Cor.2:9, CEV) “…What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!” We are praying you discover daily that you are seeing and hearing good things from your heavenly Father.  (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24hrs/day.)

Beyond What we Have Seen and Heard

As the people of God assemble today, may they worship and hear the Word of God that shows them that their God is preparing things for them, to supply and equip them, that they have not yet even imagined; that Almighty God is working behind the veil that our doubt, fear and the obstacles of this age have formed.  (1Cor.2:9, CEV) ”But it is just as the Scriptures say, “What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!”

To Him That Believes

As the people of God assemble today, may they encourage one another to look beyond the limits of their own experiences and disappointments to see what none of their eyes have seen and what none of their ears have heard and what none of their minds have imagined (1Cor.2:9). May they see and hear and wrap their minds around all that is possible to him that believeth. (Mk.9:23) “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”

Eyes to See the Non-typical

1Cor.2:9 does say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined.”  I wonder if when we see that, we should say to ourselves, “Up until now.” It does NOT say that we will not see—it’s just that we haven’t before now. Don’t feel like you are out in left field, unknowing, ignorant or unspiritual. Paul says that NO eye, NO ear, NO mind has imagined—not even the big name Christian celebrities on Christian TV. Every single one of us must open up our hearts and minds and let the King of glory come in with His plans and possibilities so we can come into agreement with those things “God has prepared for those who love Him.” (No matter how foreign they are to our typical way of thinking.)

Keep Looking

Not only have you not seen everything, but there are things that have not yet been formed in your behalf.  You can’t see them because they have not yet been formed. You haven’t seen what God is doing behind the veil that fear and doubt and obstacles have woven in your life. Consider the “cloud the size of a man’s hand” (1K.18:44) that God formed for Elijah. The servant had to go and look seven times in order to see what he had not yet seen the first six times. Even when the servant saw the little cloud, it was nothing compared to what it soon would be. Be careful to not stop looking for God’s intervention just because you have not seen something that looks like what your mind can imagine (1Cor.2:9).

Don’t Rule out Holy Spirit’s Involvement

Don’t rule out Holy Spirit’s involvement. 1Cor.2:9-10–“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”  v.10  “BUT God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”  From the profitable instruction given us in v.10, it stands to reason that we must be in relationship with Holy Spirit to have valuable, enabling things revealed to us. Not only does He reveal the necessary to us but He is actively working (often unnoticed) in circumstances that have the unmovable look of already being set in cement. Our anticipatory prayers will include factoring in Holy Spirit’s power and behind-the-scenes working. He is the power factor, influence factor, heart-change factor. He is the anticipation factor. Don’t fail to consider Him. (This is the seventh excerpt from Marty’s article “Anticipation”.)

Things not Seen

LookingAheadLadder1Cor.2:9—“But as it is written, ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’” (NKJV)  This is not God hitting us over the head saying, “You haven’t seen or heard things, so here is a whack to show my displeasure.” Rather, this is God saying, “There are things that I want you to see and things I want you to hear.” This is a scripture that is meant to instill in us a desire for the things we haven’t seen and haven’t heard concerning the enabling graces of our beneficent Father. May you discover daily God’s truths that you have not discovered in the past.  (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24 hours/day.)

The Anticipation Factor

If a preacher wants to get us really excited, all they have to do is quote 1Cor.2:9 – “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” It is then, out of our lack and loss, quite easy for us to come up with all manner of things for God to show us and tell us. But don’t rule out the Holy Spirit’s involvement: v.10  “BUT God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” We must be in relationship with Holy Spirit to have those things revealed. He is the agent of the things revealed. Human lack and research will not get it done. That might even cause us to completely miss the largeness and uniqueness of what God has in store. We do not have to wait for heaven to see them and to hear them. Holy Spirit is the power-factor, influence-factor, heart-change factor. He is even the anticipation-factor.

What of the New Year?–The Unexpected Positive

What of the New Year?–The Unexpected Positive

It would seem that typically when “unexpected” is mentioned our minds tend to go toward the negative. BUT Jahweh is the God of the unexpected positive: grace when we don’t expect it, mercy when we don’t expect it, a Hand up and out when we don’t expect it. (Acts 12:5-16; “they were astonished”)

May the Lord give you unexpected surprises that delight your heart in 2013.

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1Cor.2:9)
