It’s going to take loving the Truth (which is a Person—THE Person) to see great and mighty things for which an earth is groaning (Romans 8:17-19). It’s 
going to take some calling on that Person which requires relationship, not curbside pickup. And relationship takes time, time out of your day. This does not mean you have to set aside hours and hours every day. That is not a bad thing if that’s where you are currently, or a season you are headed into. Heaven to Earth Availability
As the Word of God says, “Everything that can be shaken will be shaken”. For 2,000 years the prayers of the saints have been going up to the throne of God in obedience to the instruction of our Lord when He required His disciples to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.” God Almighty has not been deaf upon 
His throne. Just like rats scurrying to get out of a collapsing building, the powers and principalities in second heaven are feeling the pressure of Third Heaven coming into the earth (Mt.6:10). They are scurrying about the earth and our nation affecting everything and everyone that will allow it and they are attempting, through willing dupes, to dismantle everything they can. Throughout history, when a retreating army leaves an area, they burn and dismantle everything they can so that their enemy cannot use it to their advantage. We should not, at all, be surprised at the attempts to dismantle the Word of God and the institutions that uphold it and our constitution. Call and God Will Show
Let’s not limit calling on God for great and mighty answers to things we need only. If He says I’ll “show you great and mighty things” why in the world 
would we not call on Him on a daily basis to see what awesomeness He has in store for the here and now? The requirement for asking such things daily is to be in a dominion/heaven-on-earth state rather than a victimized one. A victimized state of mind keeps us stuck on “me, my, me”. The way out of victimhood is in truth because it has a tendency to set you free IF you know it by meditating on and living it (John 8:32). This is one of the main issues we face today because we have too much information, whether it be truth or a lie, at our fingertips every moment of every day. Desires by God
(Simon Purvis) — All the basic desires on the deep inside are put there by God, but we were created for all these subconscious desires to be under the government of God. What makes these desires evil is that we put them under the charge of self to be fulfilled. Subconscious self-rule can run our lives 
even if we are saying otherwise. Desires from God can become evil if left to self to fulfill. God never intended our character and holiness to be from our conscious decisions. He intended something to be built down on the inside of us, our inner being, our subconscious, that we would live out of because it is who we are. It is not trying to be anything, rather, “I just am.” Under the government of God, we don’t have to try to be happy, we just are. God did not intend for us to strive through life to make choices to be happy or patient or kind. All of this was meant to flow out of the subconscious without a thought from the conscious. The Best Solution
Simply put, we don’t get to determine what the answer must be when we call on Him. That kind of determination is a prescription for indigestion. 
Why? Because we are working from a very limited soul-perspective of the situation with even more limited soul-solutions. This kind of limitation focuses on the impossible rather than the God of the impossible. He not only sees the problem, but where it came from (possibly from entitlement mindsets passed on through the bloodline?) and He sees the best solution for the complete fix. The Victory of Jesus
(Jim Hodges)—The devil offered Jesus the kingdoms of this world in the wilderness. It is my conviction that Christ began to take on those kingdoms 
before the cross. He took them on in the wilderness of Judea and won the victory there. He then celebrated the victory in the garden near Golgotha. The whole ministry of Jesus is to transform a wilderness into a garden. The Bible began in a garden and ends in a garden-like city.
When the devil told Jesus in the wilderness that he would give Him the kingdoms of this world Jesus, of course, would not bow to him. He defeated the devil in the desert as the Son of Man because He did not use deity powers to do so. That gives us hope of overcoming the devil also. On the cross, Jesus legally, judicially and covenantally stripped Satan of all his authority and made an open show of his being defeated. The Soul and Original Intent
Let’s look at “Call to me and I will answer you” through a modern American paradigm: I call on the Lord and He will answer – I will tell Him what I 
need and He will give it to me because He is a loving God. You know, kind of like curbside grocery delivery. I took the time to get my list together and I took the time to call about this list. Now, it’s on Him to deliver! I’m afraid we North Americans operate out of an entitled mindset not only in our relationship with earthlings, but also in our relationship with God. If I call on Him then ________ (insert pre-determined answer here). The problem with an entitled relationship with God is where the entitlement is rooted. If it is rooted in the Spirit, according to the covenant, then it will put you in a posture of dominion. If, however, it is rooted in the soul then it will hold you in a victimized defensive posture. The soul will keep you chained out of reach of God’s original intent which is indeed dominion. Or said another way, the soul will keep you from being heaven on earth.
