Is it Unchangeable?

KATHY—Sons don’t take a cultural “given” as their heavenly Father’s thinking.  Sons stay alert to what contradicts the will of God and the culture of His Realm.  Sons know the Word and therefore know, “with God nothing is impossible”.  So sons know that a seemingly unchangeable end is CHANGEABLE.

Height, Length, Depth, Breadth are Waiting

It is hard to just settle for what is presently evident in our lives and in our environment when God Almighty has shown us in His Word that His sons/daughters are expected to call upon Him and know the breadth, length, depth and height of Him (Eph.4:18) that we have not known before and even expect to be filled with “the fullness of God” (Eph.3:19). New levels there are and we shall rise to them. Doors there are and we shall go through them. We shall walk through them, we shall run through them and those who go with us shall experience the Kingdom of God…. on earth as it is in heaven. Rise up, go through, walk through, run through and if you have to…. battle through! FULL POTENTIAL IS STILL OUT THERE… (waiting).

Heard a Slingshot

MELISSA — After having some wearisome days I was praying and I heard a slingshot being pulled back slowly to the point of release.  I could hear the sling snapping as it was being pulled to the its limit in order to hurl the stone at peak velocity.  Then I heard the Holy Spirit say, “You are feeling this way because this is where you are.” We are being stretched to the limit for the greatest outcome.  Don’t forget what happened when David released that stone — a giant fell!

The Path Planner

KATHY—Wouldn’t it be more in character with our wise and loving God to have planned a path for us that fulfills who we are rather than contradicts who we are?  To think otherwise is to assume our Heavenly Father has not been actively aware of us in every moment of our lifetime. To think otherwise is to assume our gifts and callings were an after-thought, after God got to know our personality and talents and quirks.  No, we serve the God who knows the end before there is a beginning! (Isa.46:10)

Standing Firmly

As the people of God assemble today may they take hold of the Word of God and stand firmly on Father’s promises, those promises that do not fail and that remain good no matter how much in the environment seems to be sliding away into chaos. May they continually hear that Word of Life which speaks more surely than all the predictions of “knowledgeable” persons and troubled factions and having heard it, and rehearsed it, stand firmly upon it while praising the name of Him Who sits on the Throne. Heb.10:23,Amp–“So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.”

Grab Hold of God’s Word

We take God’s Word, grab hold of it and tenaciously cling to it until it carries us into tomorrow. “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying… I will do all my pleasure.” (Isa46:10) This means that God declares something before there is anything like it in existence and when it is time for it to be manifest, it comes into existence. He is not finished declaring over you!

Figuring Out How it Can Happen

Melissa— It came to me that to actually trust God meant to actually let go of needing to know the process of getting to an answer. I’ve never functioned like that. Unfortunately my M.O. has been to ask and believe for a God-outcome while all along fixating on my logic’s only conclusion as to how that could happen. That, my friends, will WEAR. YOU. OUT. In that moment it felt good, it felt right to let go, and something in me took a deep breath for the first time. (Melissa is leading worship and speaking at KINGDOM CONGRESS 2023 – March 1-3. Moving Into the New Year

Kathy—Moving into the new year we would be wise to make decisions based in the Word of God, the wisdom of God. If we go to God for a deposit of His peace and wisdom, we can make a choice that contradicts our feelings.  That doesn’t mean you are giving up strategy and resolve, it means you’re just choosing not to stay upset while it comes.  To stay upset is to choose death because your body will suffer, relationships will suffer and “emotional reactions” will become king in the house and set an atmosphere that draws more upset.

What of the New Year?

What of the New Year? — Paths & Old History
16-This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves…  18-“Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history.  19-Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it?   There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. (Isa.43:16, 18-19, Msg)
