Exciting Era

MELISSA — It really is an exciting time even though it may not look like it because we have entered a new era. Let’s look a little closer at what this means.  Merriam Webster defines “era” as: “a memorable or important date or event, especially one that begins a new period in the history of a person or thing, a stage in development.”  When I read this definition, that last part jumped off the screen, “a stage in development”.  So, I looked up “development“: “1. An unfolding; the discovering of something secret or withheld from the knowledge of others; 2. The unraveling of a plot.” Oh my! We have been in the midst of an “unraveling plot” our entire lives! I am basing the time span of the past era on the life of Dr. Billy Graham.  There were several words out there that the death of Dr. Graham would mark significant change, and that is when I knew we were truly in a new era.  So, for most of us we have been in this “stage of development” all of our lives.  God has been developing the Kingdom here on earth throughout the past era and we are about to see what He has been doing.

Power and Original Design of God

KATHY — As our days mirror the days of Elijah in so many details, may we be encouraged that we too will see the called of God follow the Lord’s directions and take down corrupt government and willful evil, both now and in generations to come.  And may we see the power and original design of God manifest in our homes and nations, both now and in generations to come.

The Right Questions

MELISSA — We can ask the right kind of questions that lead down a path of deliverance, healing, and action.  When we ask the right questions we are able to hear the answers we need.  When we ask fear-based questions we have already come to the wrong, statistic-based, society-experienced conclusions.  These soulish conclusions make it really hard to hear a Spirit answer.  So, a good place to start asking the right question is to ask the Holy Spirit, “What questions should I be asking about this situation?” He will tell you, and most of the time these questions carry the answer in them.  The right questions are a key to unlock doors and chains.  The right questions give you the right perspective.

Identity Established by Jehovah

KATHY — Days of Elijah mark a time when God’s people have their identity established. 1Ki 18:30    ‘And Elijah said to all the people, Come near to me. And all the people came near to him; and he healed the altar of Jehovah that had been broken down.  31  And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the Word of Jehovah came, saying, Israel shall be your name.  With those stones, he drew a line between who they had become and who they were meant to be, and they were about to see their God confirm it.  36  And it happened at the offering of the sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, O Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known today that You are God in Israel, and I am Your servant, that by Your Word I have done all these things.  37 Answer me, O Jehovah, answer me; and this people shall know that You are Jehovah God; and You shall turn their hearts back again.  38  And fire fell from Jehovah and burned up the burnt offering, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and the water in the trench was licked up.  39  And all the people saw, and fell on their faces, and said, Jehovah, He is the God; Jehovah, He is THE God!”  So shall days like the days of Elijah go down in history again!

We Know Him if…

The Bible says that we’ve come to know Him if we keep His commandments. BUT many people would probably say that if God is real and if He really is to be known and if He really does exist He will correct wrongs, prevent suffering and do things for us that we like. Yet His Word says, “If we know Him we keep His commandments”. Jn.2:3-6,CEB—“This is how we know that we know Him: if we keep His commandments. The one who claims, ‘I know Him,’ while not keeping His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in this person. But the love of God is truly perfected in whoever keeps His word. This is how we know we are in Him. The one who claims to remain in Him ought to live in the same way as He lived. (His Word also says Lk.9:23)

An Unconventional God For Unconventional Times

Marty Gabler spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in Mexico City in March 2023. The event was hosted by KingdomLife México. While there, the host asked him to bring a brief teaching to be shown throughout the nation. This is the video of that session.

Darkness and Desperateness

KATHY—Days of Elijah are days when lovers of darkness are dramatically desperate! 1Ki 18:28 “And they called with a loud voice, and cut themselves, according to their way, with swords and with spears until blood gushed out on them.  29  And it happened as noon passed by, that they prophesied madly until the offering up of the offering; and no sound came, and no one was answering, and no one was paying attention.”  Well, so be it in our day. May there be confusion in the enemy’s camp.

Renewed Like the Eagle

As the people of God assemble today may they look beyond their undesirable experiences. May they lift up their eyes and their expectancies to the saving, bringing-out, turning-around, breaking-through God. May they push aside barriers, excuses and hurts long enough to embrace Father’s love and impartation by His Holy Spirit so that they are renewed like the eagle (Isa.40:31). Jer.31:25,Msg—“I’ll refresh tired bodies; I’ll restore tired souls.”
