Moving Mountains

Moving Mountains (by Kathy Gabler)
I saw the words scroll across the television screen: “SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN.” I thought of all the times I had spoken to circumstances and problems to be removed or resolved but saw no change. Suddenly the Holy Spirit interrupted my musings and instructed me to speak to the MOUNTAIN “within,” not “without.” In that moment the emphasis switched from the trouble and pressure around me to the troubled soul within me. Ps 143:12 “And in your mercy and loving-kindness, cut off my enemies and destroy all those who afflict my inner self, for I am Your servant.” (Amp) The primary mountain is the stress or anxiety or fear or anger or frustration or guilt or confusion that mounts up in us in reaction to circumstances. Those negative and destructive forces mount to such heights that they block out the light of truth and smother hope. They darken our emotions and obstruct God who is our Light, Truth and Hope, by raising a barrier between me and Him. So the “inner” MOUNTAIN is the first and critical challenge. Commissioned To Go Into The Future

Commissioned To Go Into The Future
Jesus first said, “Go” (Mt 28:19), then in v.20 He announced: I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. We have a future that is guaranteed by our commissioning. We are commissioned to continue going until the very close and consummation of the age. There is, therefore, no let up and no decrease. Our Lord said “Go” but has not said, “Come back.” We will speak the language of commissioned ones. We will continue to go into the geographical spheres and to people groups where He gives us power of influence, and we will continue to go into the future with preparation and expectancy.
…He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] 6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me? (Heb 13:5-6)
Soaring To Purpose

Soaring To Purpose
The theme song of the United States Air Force is “Into The Wild Blue Yonder” written by Robert Crawford in 1939. Some of the lyrics to that inspirational tune are: Off we go into the wild blue yonder, Climbing high into the sun… Souls of men dreaming of skies to conquer Gave us wings ever to soar! Off we go into the wild sky yonder, Keep the wings level and true… The young men who first learned that song could not wait to get airborne so they could soar into the atmosphere at heights they had never been and at speeds they had never experienced to see what they had never seen, to conquer an enemy that threatened the freedom of nations. With equal zeal, we can soar into the future with prepared hearts and prepared with the language of the future. We are called to soar above the language of distress and hopelessness so that we may proclaim life and purpose. (Isa 60:1-2) (seecministries.org)
Enablements That Communicate

Enablements That Communicate
As we go into the future, Holy Spirit will impart to us enablements that communicate in language that reaches people where they are. In one meeting I spoke of the greatness of God and the many dimensions in the universe. Afterward, a scientist who had helped develop the Apollo rocket walked up and engaged me in conversation about dimensions. I ended up ministering to him about his purpose and counseling him concerning his marriage. On several occasions, people working in the government of our nation have contacted Kathy for help interpreting their dreams and she was able to prophesy to them concerning God’s purposes in their future. In a meeting, I spoke of righteous legislation for our nation. A man who is running for the U. S. Senate was in that meeting. One of his aides contacted me and told me that the gentleman wept openly in the meeting because of what the Lord spoke to him concerning legislation for our nation. In the play Julius Ceasar Mark Antony cries out, “Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears.” I believe that today our Lord’s cry is, “Sons, daughters, believers, lend me your capacities to communicate.” Believers have not yet seen everything our Lord will do to us and through us for His Kingdom purposes but…. we are available.

Language And Purpose
Language And Purpose
There is a language for the people of the Kingdom of God. Even after Peter had spoken the language of doubt and unbelief (Mt 26:72), he later received the baptism with the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2) and was able to boldly stand and preach Jesus to the crowd that had gathered around Solomon’s Porch. The language of the purposes of God in Christ was imparted to Peter so that he could speak beyond the limitations of himself. The result of being filled with Holy Spirit and speaking to all the cultures gathered that day was that a combined total of 3,000 representatives of “every nation under heaven” were saved. A crowd consisting of diverse languages and diverse cultures was captivated by the language of the purpose of Jesus in the earth. (Acts 2:14,16) Likewise, by the enabling of Holy Spirit Paul spoke boldly and persuasively concerning Jesus and the Kingdom of God (Acts 9:29; 19:8). The language of our heritage and our culture is severely limiting. Therefore, as we go into the future our cry is, “Holy Spirit, enable us to speak the language of the Kingdom of God so that the rule of our Lord may be advanced in this earth, no matter where we are or to whom we are speaking.”

The Power Of Language
The Power of Language
Through the advent of many languages the masses were scattered at the Tower of Babel when they rebelled against God. The many languages made them weak and rendered them incapable of reaching a common goal. “The LORD said, ‘Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.” (Gen 11:6) It was obviously the language of politic and industry but, though it was able to accomplish great things, it was not in alignment with the purposes of God. It was of the spirit of Lucifer who said, “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly (Isa 14:13).” It was the language of self-pursuit denying the headship of Jehovah. “The power of language is its ability to produce but if it is not for His glory, it will eventually be to our detriment” (M.Munroe). But Holy Spirit has brought the language of heaven (Acts2:4;19:6) to unite us for the advancing of the Kingdom of God.

Getting Knowledge
Getting Knowledge
For the sons of Issachar, the future was not something that was feared but something that was approached with a degree of understanding. Getting knowledge and information now insures being able to “speak the language” of the future. Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. 6 “Do not forsake her, and she will guard you; Love her, and she will watch over you. 7 “The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom; And with all your acquiring, get understanding. (Prov 4:5-7) It has been said that we only fear what we do not understand and, may I add, what we cannot communicate with. That is why some people fear computers; they do not understand how computers communicate or how they are supposed to communicate with computers. Until understanding is arrived at by applying oneself to knowledge and applying it in wisdom, computers and other technologies of the future and remain foreign.
Profitable To Family, Tribe And Nation
Profitable To Family, Tribe And Nation
The sons of Issachar understood the times in which they lived, understood what was being said by the rulers and cultures of the times. Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do… (1Ch 12:32). They were able to speak more than just their tribal, colloquial tongue. They both understood and spoke the understandings of culture, politics and science. They were then able to articulate those matters to their tribe (v.32) so that action could be taken upon their wisdom. Their knowledge made them profitable to their families, their tribe and their nation.
The Increasing Seed
The Increasing Seed
There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace…(Isa 9:7). The seed in the parable of the sower is the Word of God (Lk 8:11) and because the Kingdom government of Jesus cannot stay the same but must increase, that Seed of His Kingdom must increase in us. A seed increases to continue producing: “first the blade, then the head, then the mature grain in the head”(Mk4:28). It may seem to lay dormant for a period of time but it is alive and growing. It must increase in each of us so that it can affect our families, our churches, our communities and our nation. That’s why the seed is growing in us.
The Law Of Growth And Increase

THE LAW OF GROWTH AND INCREASE
His Word is working in us to improve us and increase us (Col 1:29). His Word is in you. His Word is a seed. A seed does not exist just to be a little round thing snuggled up in the ground. A seed exists to sprout, to push up out of the ground, to grow a stalk and put out leaves and blooms so that it may produce fruit and that fruit is meant to be of benefit to others. God’s Word is a seed in us and it is growing in us (Lk 8:11). A seed cannot stay as it is, it must increase (Jn 12:24).

Getting Into Agreement With His Word

GETTING INTO AGREEMENT WITH HIS WORD
God’s Word in Heb 4:12 is not penetrating to the dividing line of the soul and the spirit, and of joints and marrow, exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart so that we can feel condemnation, but so we can get into agreement with the Word of His power. Getting into agreement with the Word is our living in such a way that the principles and values of the Word are evident in our lives. It will result in our living like we have a Lord and Savior.
THE WORD DIVIDES BETWEEN SOUL AND SPIRIT

THE WORD DIVIDES BETWEEN SOUL AND SPIRIT
A two-edged sword was so desirable in ancient battle because it cut coming and going and could cut right and left. The Word cuts like a two-edged sword to divide between the dominance of the soul and the spirit of a person. That continual drive of soulishness that feeds on carnal tendencies is brought into check by the power of the Word. At the time the Word precisely cuts and divides, we have an opportunity to respond to the Word and comply with it. Our responding and complying pushes down the dominating soul and allows our spirit to rise and grow with the Word. As the Word increases in our lives, sin’s ability to dominate decreases for “sin shall not have dominion over you.” (Rom 6:14)
Sharper Than Sword

The Bible shows us clearly that the Word of God is not just some ink on some paper and it is not just a thought that happened to get scribbled down that works well for inspirational reading. The Word of God is power; it is active, operative, energizing and effective(Heb4:12). The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. That word “any” just can’t help but stand out. The Word is more effective than any cutting instrument, no matter how well made or refined. The Word cuts through layers better than any scalpel. The Word, in articles and teaching like this, is being worked in you by the Holy Spirit and is building you up in your most holy faith (Jude 1:20). Your faith is holy. i.e., (1) It is uniquely set apart unto God and (2) it has value. The Word of God that your faith is based upon has value for your life and for your family and your nation. (Ps 19:7-11)
Word And Power

It is apparent, and important to note, that “word” and “power” are related in the Bible. The two terms go together most purposefully. Heb 4:12 “For the WORD that God speaks is alive and full of POWER; 1Co 1:18 For the WORD of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the POWER of God.” His power produces His Word to us, to be active in us, alive in us, doing surgery in us, healing us, strengthening us and improving us. The Word of God is mighty in you because it is the Word of His power (Heb 1:3).

“Setting The Course For The Next 40 Years”

From The Unseen Into The Seen
The Creator’s desire to extend the authority and rule of heaven into the earth is plainly seen in Gen.1:26-27. It is His purpose to move His power and authority from the unseen into the seen. Our power and authority in the earthly realm is to mirror His in the heavenly realm(Jn14:9). Hence, the glory, the character, the purpose, the intent of God is revealed in the earth. God’s relationship with the earth is expressed thru His sons. His sons are the only legal authority on earth and may, therefore, be the avenue for His power manifested here-His power and authority made visible(Lk5:17). When He sent His Son Jesus, He was saying, “See, this is what I mean.” (Jn1:14;1Jn3:8)
Though you walk in the midst of trouble, may the Lord revive you; May He stretch forth His hand against the wrath of your enemies, And may His right hand save you. The Lord will accomplish what concerns you. [Declare out loud that the Lord will accomplish what concerns you] Your lovingkindness, O Lord, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. [Declare out loud that the Lord will not forsake the works of His hands] (Taken from Ps 138:7-8)
