See From God’s Perspective

There is a lively element to prophecy that cannot leave us like we are. That God-thing on the inside of us begins to get into agreement with His Word and makes room for His Word to come alive in us and work in us what otherwise was impossible before. The reason I like to use the eagle as a symbol of the prophetic is because of what the eagle represents to us: the ability to rise above; the ability to soar high and see from God’s perspective. The prophetic word enables us to rise up and see what we were not able to see from our circumstances. (From Marty’s book “Prophecy-Strengthen, Encourage, Comfort”. It has been revised and will be re-released at DVP2017.)

Like The Eagle

EagleHighSoar
May the people of God Most High not just look up and look around like the goose who hears honking from other geese and begins honking because they are honking, but may we be like the eagle that soars above it all so that we may gain proper perspectives for positive action that is guided by the better perspective.
“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.” (Isa.40:31, Amp)

May The Lord Do A Life-Work

thrilled

May the Lord do a life-work in you before the end of this week. May it be a work
that will settle something, that will loose something, that will open up something,
that will thrill your soul and cause your spirit to soar. May it be a part of your
present victories and your future accomplishments.

“…we pray for you all the time—pray that our God will make you fit for what he’s
called you to be, pray that he’ll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with his own
energy so that it all amounts to something. If your life honors the name of Jesus,
he will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this, our God giving himself
freely, the Master, Jesus Christ, giving himself freely.” (2Thess.1:11-12, Msg)

Soaring To Purpose

Soaring To Purpose
The theme song of the United States Air Force is “Into The Wild Blue Yonder” written by Robert Crawford in 1939. Some of the lyrics to that inspirational tune are: Off we go into the wild blue yonder, Climbing high into the sun… Souls of men dreaming of skies to conquer Gave us wings ever to soar! Off we go into the wild sky yonder, Keep the wings level and true… The young men who first learned that song could not wait to get airborne so they could soar into the atmosphere at heights they had never been and at speeds they had never experienced to see what they had never seen, to conquer an enemy that threatened the freedom of nations. With equal zeal, we can soar into the future with prepared hearts and prepared with the language of the future. We are called to soar above the language of distress and hopelessness so that we may proclaim life and purpose. (Isa 60:1-2) (seecministries.org)
