Where Anticipation is Sabotaged

KATHY—The Father-son relationship is where Anticipation is often sabotaged.  If all we can see in the mirror is who we are now or any given moment, instead of who we were born to be, there is no anticipation because we are not thinking like our Father.  (“As a man continues to think in his heart, so is he”, Prov.23:7)  If we see ourselves as “only human” or not worthy or capable to act in our Father’s authority and power, that roots back to relationship and sonship issues.  If we have to rebuild our sense of covenant every time that doubt or condemnation or failure knocks on our door, we won’t come close to Anticipation or God-outcomes.

CONTRADICTIONS CAN SABOTAGE

KATHY–Let us not be sabotaged by contradictions within our own thinking and beliefs. For example, a common misunderstanding among churched people is that we must expect and allow world conditions to get worse. However, the concept of passively allowing evil to be successful contradicts God’s Word and character. An unfailing principle of the Word is seedtime and harvest, whether it is good seed and good harvest or bad seed and bad harvest. So, world conditions get worse when evil sown comes to harvest. While that is a fact, the contradiction we need to be aware of here is that does not mean that getting worse is God’s will or original intent. We can agree with God and interrupt the sowing and reaping of evil. Thinking God intends to allow evil to succeed is contradictory to His character and principles, and that kind of mis-belief is a contradiction that causes conflict in our soul.  (This is an excerpt from Kathy Gabler’s article “Contradicting Contradictions“.)

No Relapse

(Melissa) Now, here is where the “God cloaked answer” comes in.  If I would have been healed immediately, I would have sabotaged my healing.  I say MountainSunriseCloudsthat because just two weeks ago I was asking the Lord what do I need to know today about this, and as plain as day I heard, “You have a fear of relapse.” OH MY! He absolutely hit that one dead center! That little stinker has had its claws in so many areas of my life.  Now, it no longer does.  That fear will not sabotage the answer.
