Real Life When we are Awake

MELISSA GABLER—Real life comes when we are awake. It will be an amazing adventure to live out the true intentions of God for our lives.  I feel like I’m rambling right now but I can’t think of another way to express what I’m feeling about what’s ahead. Like I mentioned up front, it’s just way too massive for us to be able to endure all at once and that’s why this Third Great Awakening has been and will be an ongoing process.  If you don’t feel it yet, I want to encourage you to hold on because this unveiling is building steam and you will see the goodness of God in the land of the living! (Ps. 27:13,Amp—“[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!”)

Trusting God in Spite of Impossibilities

As the people of God assemble today let them rejoice in His holy name and let them raise together their courage and determination to continue to trust God and His unfailing Word as they praise Almighty God confidently in spite of the entities and circumstances that seem to be bringing impossibilities against their destiny in the King’s purposes for them in their generation. Ps.27:3,Amp—“Though an army encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, Even in this I am confident.”

God is my Hiding Place

tentrockbedouinAs the people of God assemble today may they edify and comfort one another with assurances of Almighty God being their hiding place from all that troubles and threatens. May they continually abide in the shelter of the Almighty. Ps.27:5, CEV— “In times of trouble, you will protect me. You will hide me in your tent and keep me safe on top of a mighty rock.”

Out of Dark Places

In October we are going up and out of dark places hand over hand on the three-cord rope of hope and promise and God’s faithfulness (Eccl.4:12—“a threefold cord is not quickly broken”). The joy of the Lord is our strength (Neh.8:10—“the joy of the Lord is your strength”) to reach and grasp and pull. His light and salvation  (Ps.27:1—“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life”)  are the bright glow of expectancy that we climb toward as we lift up our heads to where our help comes from (Ps.121:1).

Looking for the Goodness of the Lord

This is the day the Lord has made so…
LookIntoDistanceI will rejoice because I am looking for the goodness of the Lord today and I know that I do not look in vain. So, I will take courage and I will hope for and expect the Lord.  “[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! 14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.” (Ps.27:13-14, Amp)
