Price to Advance Into the Next Season

The Israelites actually said to Moses that they would have rather remained slaves than pay any price for freedom (Ex 14:12). If advancement into the next season does not come easily, then staying the course to the next season may be readily abandoned by those who have no intention of dealing with issues that might make them uncomfortable. The importance of this whole matter must be considered at this point: not only must we stay the course for our individual commitment to God but the Church as a whole must stay the course in order to get to that next place our Father has for us to compassionately display the healing, delivering and resurrection power of Jesus in this present age.

Treasure of Good Common Sense

As the people of God assemble today may the powerful Word and purposes of God fill their minds with heavenly wisdom and good common sense to face and advance beyond the base reasoning of this present age. May they be confident in making Bible-based decisions, taking a stand in Yahweh’s truth and righteousness and enjoy the fruit of the Tree of Life. Prov.2:6-7, NLT—“For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity”.

Power of the Air

Kathy — I love the way The Message reads in Eph 2:2, “let’s notlet the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell us how to live.” That should be on billboards in Hollywood since they constantly try to dictate lifestyle!  Eph 2:2 (AMP)[When you were dead in sin- when you were walking/talking zombies} . . . StreaksSky.jpgyou walked [habitually] … following the course and fashion of this world  [under the sway of this present age] that is, following the prince of the power of the air.” When I pursued the question, what is the “power of the air” the devil is prince of, that power boiled down to influence.  We can be DUI – (driven under the influence) of the air or atmosphere around us and the fallen prince who dominates it. Our thoughts, moods and decisions can be affected by the atmosphere.  The air we breathe is chock full of echoes and whispers from people’s conversations and murmured opinions and rehearsed memories and reports.  Even sounds around us can carry threats and words and sounds that are legal instruments that devils know how to use against us.  If we leave outbursts, murmurs, curses, vows, worries, lusts and fears hanging in the atmosphere, uncontested and unresolved, they are up for grabs to be used as negative forces against us.
