Tomorrows that have already become check marks on the calendar of history were declared by God. “I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them…” (Isa 48:3) God has declared. “Declared”: to be conspicuous, to tell, to make known; to avow. God not only makes known what is to come but He guarantees it. “And I shewed them” actually means that God has made “them” plainly heard. Now the question is: who is asking and who is listening?

We can deflect what the enemy sends against us. DEFLECT: “to change direction by interposing something”. How do we interpose one of these God-
provided tools? When the enemy launches an attack, whether it is physical, verbal, mental or spiritual, we can “change the direction” of that attack (deflect) by speaking out the Word of God, or praising God, or by making the opposite declaration of what the enemy is bringing against us. Don’t let your mind go where the attack wants it to go. Keep your mind on those things that are noble, just, pure, lovely, good report and things that have virtue (Phil.4:8). As the people of God assemble today, may they worship and hear the Word of God that shows them that their God is preparing things for them, to supply and equip them, that they have not yet even imagined; that Almighty God is working behind the veil that our doubt, fear and the obstacles of this age have formed. The thing about seeing Thy Kingdom Come is that it carries the order and priorities of God, even if that shocks or contradicts or shakes current 
theology, current cultures, current belief-systems or even our interpretation of “Church”. Those three words, Thy Kingdom Come, give God access to every level of our lives that must change to align with His Kingdom. Just as He sent the Last Adam, the Redeemer to bring His original intent and order of the garden into reach once again, so He intends to bring our core values into His original intent and order. That will mean major shaking in our thinking, in our conditions, in our priorities and in our earth . . . as it is in heaven.—Kathy Gabler

When praying recently I believe the Lord impressed strongly upon my heart that believers are able to deflect what the enemy sends against us. I saw 
a left arm holding up a shield like the shield of faith. I also saw a right hand of authority up like when a policeman is ordering a vehicle to stop. I heard that we can deflect all forms of attack, rumors, accusations and even disease. I urge you to pay attention to your dreams. I believe there is a release of dreams right now to bring insight for deliverance from generational 
pitfalls. I recently had a dream about a wolf, the devourer of finance and resource trying to get into my house. There were family members from more than one generation in my dream needing to deal with the devourer. Another dreamer mentioned she had just this week dreamed of her great-grandmother and two nights later her grandmother. Both dreams were confrontations with the pressures of expectations and paradigms of those former generations. God can wonderfully use dreams to bring healing to our generations and prosper our souls and our futures. —Kathy Gabler

Have you ever been so weary that all you wanted to do was let your hands hang down, let your head hang down and flop down on a couch and hope 
the world would just go away? Then you know the value of an encouraging word or a touch or even just a bit of understanding. It is possible that if we will give strength to someone else and help support their feeble, shaky knees that we will be blessed and strengthened in the doing of such a selfless and thoughtful act. We are moving into a time of more frequent and more intense, Sovereignly-Scheduled-Intersections with people/situations we are appointed to 
minister to. Everyone of us could probably tell stories about a breath-taking impression, when we sensed the power of God was about to manifest awesomely. We probably could all admit times also when we were too scared to follow through or were hesitant and lost the moment. I don’t mention these moments to guilt us for hesitating or for not having the courage to participate. Guilt is not the goal here! THE MONTH OF OCTOBER IS FOR rising above harassment. October is for overcoming harassment, moving out of reach of harassment. The harassing persons and factors will be frustrated. Over the past few decades some preachers have competed with one another concerning who knows most accurately what will happen when, and 
how many will be there when it happens and who will be left out because of whatever reasons. Building great mystery and drama around the whole subject has enabled some speakers to collect large followings of loyal supporters (and book sales). When I see scriptural prophecy being fulfilled, that is just another testimony to me that God does not speak without purpose and that He has the ability to fulfill his Word. If the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary and His compassionate, fellowshipping Spirit cannot instill in people a fervor for Him and compassion to live redemptively for others, a theology shrouded in puzzle-like mystery and culminating chaos most likely will not.

While intercessors should not sweat the small things, neither should we ignore them. The Word tells us to consider the impact of small things like the small rudder that directs a huge ship. Again in Zech 4:10, we are admonished not to despise small beginnings because their impact will be big in future. Many times intercessory dreams and visions and impressions seem faint or small, yet they actually carry insights that prove crucial or huge down the road. Now, what is our part in this next season? Awareness. We must remember, at all times: the Kingdom of God is invading this nation. Each one of us has a piece of the Kingdom that penetrates and affects the region around us. We are going to WIN this fight. Hey, it’s not going to be pretty in the 
months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this. –Melissa

I have been amazed lately at the strategic dreams God has given. I have sensed for several months that the Body of Christ is in an important time of 
transition. These dreams have been confirmation of coming changes and new positioning of our lives for the purposes of God. In recent days preachers, e-mailers and ministry newsletters have been proclaiming the near end of all things — that there is no more to come. One of the first signs of agreement is that some people even stop paying tithes and some missionaries have had to leave their posts of duty because certain sentiment dictates withdrawal of support. While certain sentiment has been the cause of withdrawing financial enablement, fear over unknown 
economic fallout of current events has also been a factor. One preacher spoke to a conference of leaders and proclaimed our need to prepare the next generation and our need to pour ourselves into that generation. The speaker that followed him got up and proclaimed that its all over with, we’re out of here and we each need to be ready to meet our Maker. The latter speaker received more response. There is a sudden rise in concern to see that everyone is ready to meet Jesus and that is, indeed, important. Yet it cannot be simplistically important at the expense of all else. People are not to be simply prepared to miss hell but to become a productive part of the Kingdom of God and a lively member fitly joined (in rank and order) to the Body of Christ (Eph 4:16). Jesus left us with the mandate of “occupying until” He returns (Lk 19:13). Strong tells us that “occupy” means to “busy oneself with”, “to trade”. Thayer says that “occupy” means “to carry on a business”. There is plenty of Father’s business yet to be done and when our Lord does return, He should find us slap dab in the middle of doing it with all the strength, passion and resources that we can muster to do it with. Tomorrows that have already become check marks on the calendar of history were declared by God. “I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them…” (Isa 48:3) God has declared. “Declared”: to be conspicuous, to tell, to make known; to avow. God not only makes known what is to come but He guarantees it. “And I shewed them” actually means that God has made “them” plainly heard. Now the question is: who is asking and who is listening?

When the enemy launches an attack, whether it is physical, verbal, mental or spiritual, we can “change the direction” of that attack (deflect) by speaking out the Word of God, or praising God, or by making the opposite declaration of what the enemy is bringing against us. Don’t let your mind go where the attack wants it to go. Keep your mind on those things that are noble, just, pure, lovely, good report and things that have virtue (Phil.4:8). Those three words, Thy Kingdom Come, give God access to every level of our lives that must change to align with His Kingdom. Just as He sent the Last Adam, the Redeemer to bring His original intent and order of the garden into reach once again, so He intends to bring our core values into His original intent and order. pitfalls. I recently had a dream about a wolf, the devourer of finance and resource trying to get into my house. There were family members from more than one generation in my dream needing to deal with the devourer. Another dreamer mentioned she had just this week dreamed of her great-grandmother and two nights later her grandmother. Both dreams were confrontations with the pressures of expectations and paradigms of those former generations. God can wonderfully use dreams to bring healing to our generations and prosper our souls and our futures. —Kathy Gabler

We probably could all admit times also when we were too scared to follow through or were hesitant and lost the moment. I don’t mention these moments to guilt us for hesitating or for not having the courage to participate. Guilt is not the goal here! how many will be there when it happens and who will be left out because of whatever reasons. Building great mystery and drama around the whole subject has enabled some speakers to collect large followings of loyal supporters (and book sales). When I see scriptural prophecy being fulfilled, that is just another testimony to me that God does not speak without purpose and that He has the ability to fulfill his Word. If the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary and His compassionate, fellowshipping Spirit cannot instill in people a fervor for Him and compassion to live redemptively for others, a theology shrouded in puzzle-like mystery and culminating chaos most likely will not.
While intercessors should not sweat the small things, neither should we ignore them. The Word tells us to consider the impact of small things like the small rudder that directs a huge ship. Again in Zech 4:10, we are admonished not to despise small beginnings because their impact will be big in future. Many times intercessory dreams and visions and impressions seem faint or small, yet they actually carry insights that prove crucial or huge down the road. months ahead, but no matter what you see, hear, or face, it has no effect on what God has set in motion. After all, He has the last word! If you feel worried, afraid, or uneasy that’s your clue you are plugged into the wrong advisors. You may need to turn the TV off during this season in order to stay plugged into God’s agenda. Make sure you keep the air cleared in your vicinity. One great way of doing that is upping your prayer in tongues. Talk about an air purifier! Speaking in tongues is a beautiful weapon from Heaven for such a time as this. –Melissa

economic fallout of current events has also been a factor. One preacher spoke to a conference of leaders and proclaimed our need to prepare the next generation and our need to pour ourselves into that generation. The speaker that followed him got up and proclaimed that its all over with, we’re out of here and we each need to be ready to meet our Maker. The latter speaker received more response. There is a sudden rise in concern to see that everyone is ready to meet Jesus and that is, indeed, important. Yet it cannot be simplistically important at the expense of all else. People are not to be simply prepared to miss hell but to become a productive part of the Kingdom of God and a lively member fitly joined (in rank and order) to the Body of Christ (Eph 4:16). Jesus left us with the mandate of “occupying until” He returns (Lk 19:13). Strong tells us that “occupy” means to “busy oneself with”, “to trade”. Thayer says that “occupy” means “to carry on a business”. There is plenty of Father’s business yet to be done and when our Lord does return, He should find us slap dab in the middle of doing it with all the strength, passion and resources that we can muster to do it with.
