Looking at Faith

MELISSA GABLER — Let’s look a little deeper at faith. Heb.11:1,Amp — “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed):”   What is hoped for that is divinely guaranteed? Healing, a hope and a future, never being forsaken, His love, just to name a few.  BUT if human nature/soul is in the lead it can and probably will sabotage these in some way by needing to control. “…and the evidence {proof} of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].”  Prophetic Lifestyle, through faith, acknowledges that the unseen realm is as real as the seen.  Human nature/soul has a problem with what cannot be seen and touched.

From Tribulation to Perseverance

KATHY GABLER—Paul said we glory in tribulations. If we do not learn to glory in trials it is probably because we have not persevered down the whole path of Romans 5:4, from tribulation to perseverance to character to hope. For we learn to glory if we do not stop along the way and we reach godly hope that is steadfast and unshakeable. Admittedly that is not an easy lesson. There seems to be a crucial threshold, a line of demarcation drawn between character and hope. That threshold is where the enemy comes in like a flood. Wars flare up there, in that threshold of darkness just before dawn. Wars rage there, on the threshold of our deepest weariness. Standing on that threshold, one step away from godly hope that will get us to promise, we can be overwhelmed and exhausted and become so hopeless that we run or quit. That’s why the enemy wages war at this threshold, to drive us aside into hopelessness; for the hopeless will not persevere, will not pursue promise . . . no matter how close it is.

Careful What we Say

MARTY GABLER—Let us be careful what we say. The Lord doesn’t want what we speak falling to the ground. (1Sam.3:19)   “Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.”Ps. 141:3, Amp)

It’s Happening

MELISSA GABLER—It’s happening folks! The intensity you feel right now is an evil agenda being de-throned.  God has not, and will not take His hand off of this nation! We are a blessed people, and we GET to be a part of His Kingdom invasion.  Come. On. Now. “The zeal of the Lord of hosts“ is accomplishing a miraculous transformation in the United States of America.  Does it look like what most of us thought a miraculous transformation would? Probably not.  Does it matter what we thought it should look like? Absolutely not.

Man Measures Time and God Measures Time

KATHY GABLER—While man is measuring time in seconds and minutes, God is measuring time in changes, responses, transformations and alignment of people and circumstances. His primary aim is to transform people. There are those awesomely orchestrated times when His transforming events coincide on a calendar date just to declare His presence and sovereignty and loving attention to details in our lives. (Jer.29:11)

Our Prayer is Heard and Not in Vain

Marty Gabler—As the people of God assemble today, may they be thankful to their Heavenly Father, that their prayer is heard and it is not in vain. May they declare that they will relentlessly continue in prayer and thanksgiving before their God who hears and acts in their behalf.  “Let my prayer be set before You as incense,The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” (Ps.141:2, NKJV)

The Secret of John 8:12

MARTY GABLER—So many people have been talking about how dark the world is getting. Many are very worried and some don’t hesitate to express their deep fears. One Christian I was told about recently can’t sleep and it is affecting their health. BUT I think I found a SECRET in John 8!!  ”Jesus said to the people, “I am the Light of the world. So if you follow me, you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, for living light will flood your path.” (Jn.8:12, LB)

Prayer When Doing War

MELISSA GABLER–Here are some thoughts on prayer during times of war, such as we are dealing with at this time.  In Matthew 6:7 Jesus gives insight on prayer, “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.”  Vain repetitions here means: “To chatter, be long-winded, utter empty words, stammer, repeat”.  In times like these there is a tendency to just rattle off every fear and concern we have.  Jesus gave good advice here as he explained in verse 8, “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”  We need to come to God prepared to hear an answer and not just to throw up our worries all over Him.  This really came to life for me recently when I had just had one of those days where my concern list got filled up.  That evening I sat down to be quiet and listen when, all of a sudden, I was standing in this beautiful garden.  The trees caught my attention because they seemed lively and animated.  As I was taking in their beauty they all turned in one direction and I realized they were responding to the Lord walking through the garden.  I saw Him walking toward me when this thought hit me, “He knows”. In that moment I literally felt my shoulders and body relax.  I knew He knew about all of those things on my list.  Not only did He know, He already had an answer for each of them and my part was to simply trust.  As we navigate this time of war we don’t have to rattle off our fears to God.  He knows not only what’s manifesting but what is behind each manifestation.

The 3rd Question God Asked Adam

KATHY GABLER — The 3rd question God asked Adam in the garden was if he’d eaten of the tree.  God wasn’t looking for information of course.  He was helping Adam realize the point of origin of this earthquake that tore up his self-image and damaged his self-worth, was when he defied the boundaries.  If anyone ever feels like God sets boundaries to demean or be unjust or cruel, they need some vitamin “G” as in “G”row up!  He sets boundaries wisely to set the stage for the truest expression of commitment, respect and honor in a lifetime.  It takes self-government to work within boundaries and that self-government develops maturity and character.  Character is a matter of righteous values and moral strength.  Character is essential to taste true fulfillment in your lifetime.  It will take character to keep you wherever purpose takes you.  I’ve known really gifted and skilled people who lost everything because they did not have the self-government and character to honor boundaries and protocol in relationships or career or finances or health.

THE Redeemer’s Kingdom Come

MARTY GABLER—The “THY” of “Thy Kingdom come” Has Redemptive Character. If we can call Jehovah God Almighty anything, we can call Him Redeemer. For I know that my Redeemer and Vindicator lives, and at last He [the Last One] will stand upon the earth. (Job 19:25, Amp; also Ps.19:14; 78:35; Isa.41:14; 63:16). His character is continually displayed in redemptive acts of many-layered wisdom (Eph.3:10) and they are displayed through His sons (Eph.3:10).

See Great and Mighty Things

MELISSA GABLER—You are no longer under subjugation of fear, diagnosis, lack, delay, the past, oppression, depression, or even snares in your bloodline. You’re on a new page of your life. Just know that things are about to get amazing and shift in ways we cannot imagine. This may seem like a crazy thing to say in the middle of a year that is so chaotic but the truth is far more powerful than the lie.  You are free and about to see great and mighty things on a much larger scale.

Where Anticipation is Often Sabotaged

KATHY GABLER—The Father-son relationship is where anticipation is often sabotaged.  If all we can see in the mirror is who we are now or any given moment, instead of who we were born to be, there is no anticipation because we are not thinking like our Father.  (“As a man continues to think in his heart, so is he”, Prov.23:7)  If we see ourselves as “only human” or not worthy or capable to act in our Father’s authority and power, that roots back to relationship and sonship issues.  If we have to rebuild our sense of covenant every time that doubt or condemnation or failure knocks on our door, we won’t come close to anticipation or God-outcomes.

Our Lord’s Prayer Requests

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today, may our Lord’s prayer requests be prayed by His people. May those things He desires on earth, in the lives of people be prayed in agreement with His heart and purposes.  “In this manner, therefore, pray:  Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  10  Your kingdom come.  Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matt.6:9-10, NKJV)

The Kingdom of God is Advancing

MARTY GABLER—I invite you to fill in the blank:  In spite of ______________, the Kingdom of God is advancing.  The Kingdom is advancing in spite of anything you can put in that blank. You are part of something that is bigger than you are and it is still standing and it is still advancing. (1) The wall is still standing. You and I may only be small pebbles in its makeup but we are part of the wall that is still standing.  (2) You and I may not even vaguely resemble King David but we are part of David’s kingly, warring company. (3) You and I may not be Gideon but we are part of the Gideon company that does not consider the odds. We consider Him who has called us.  (4) You and I may not be the whole bucket of water that is being thrown on the fire but we are drops in that bucket that are putting out flames.  (Matt.16:18; Lk.1:33; Ps.145:13; Isa.9:7)

God Sustains Through Battles

Melissa Gabler— “It is because of the Lord’s lovingkindness we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness.” Lam. 3:22-23 (AMP).  This makes me cry.  Our God is so faithful to sustain us through battles to our answers.  In fact, His goodness NEVER runs out! This scripture tells us they are NEW EVERY MORNING! There is new strength and grace to be set free right now.  Y’all, He NEVER gave up on plan A which is the John 10:10 abundant life.  We choose to live plan B simply because we don’t have a grasp on His love and true intent for us.

Keys to Recurring Dreams

KATHY GABLER—Two keys in considering recurring dreams are:
(1.) Tolerating troubling, recurring dreams instead of resolving them can water a troubling condition and keep it bearing fruit in your life.
(2.) Get to the root of recurring dreams so they become a tool. Deposits, downloads and disclosures through dreams only become a beneficial tool to us when we follow up with a real life response.

Your Home Filled With Rejoicing

MARTY GABLER—Your Home #19 – May your home be filled with songs and rejoicing because the Lord God Almighty has delivered you when you needed rescue from people and circumstances.  Ps.118:15,LB—“Songs of joy at the news of our rescue are sung in the homes of the godly. The strong arm of the Lord has done glorious things!”

Questions When Fear Comes

Melissa Gabler—Here are some questions to ask when fear strikes, or we aren’t sure if it is fear or wisdom:  What do I need to see about this? What’s at the root of this? What do I need to know about this? Is there an element of this that needs to be dealt with or stopped through prayer, or is this connected to a root that needs to be pulled out? Is this intercession for someone else? These kinds of questions get answered because they are not the questions of a victim, they are questions of an overcomer.  A fear-driven question already has an answer in mind and can’t hear anything but that. A wise question is open to hear truth.  Here’s another question to keep on hand, is this something in the atmosphere that I need to be aware of? I experienced this one recently while in worship.  A headache hit me between the eyes out of no where.  Later I came to realize it was an atmospheric war over what was going on that night.  When identified, the headache left immediately!

Prayer for Mountains to be Revealed

KATHY GABLER—Revealing Mountains-May we be like David as he prayed for the mountains within himself to be revealed in Psalm 139:23,24. “Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (NKJ) A paraphrased word study reveals this in his prayer: “O God, examine me and reveal my mind, my knowledge, my thinking, my memories, my inclinations, my determinations, my conscience, my moral character, my appetites, my emotions and my passions.  Scrutinize me and reveal my disturbing thoughts and opinions.”  When David asked God to search him for wicked ways he was NOT on a guilt-driven search for evil and moral decay in himself.  The word translated “wicked” here is used only two other times in the Old Testament and both times it was translated “sorrow.”  So David was asking God to see if there were any high places of idolatry in him that had been built on wounds or offense or sorrow or hardship or bitter memories.  He was asking God to see if there  was any experience or threat bigger or more important to him than God.  David knew those things could distort God’s counsel and instructions and even block him from God’s presence.  Every soulish mountain-stronghold becomes a blind spot that blocks us from seeing God’s truth and purpose, thereby keeping us from God’s presence and plans in some part of our life.

Stand on God’s Unfailing Word

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today, may they be taught, reminded, encouraged, assured that God’s Word is just like Him, “the same yesterday, today and forever”. May the people of God encourage one another to stand on His unfailing Word so that as the wind blows and the waves crash, the house will continue to stand.  “The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.” (Isa.40:8, NKJV)

To See Beyond Our Norm

MARTY GABLER—We must do something to see beyond our norm. What about an imagination that is available to God? Do we only see the mundane and the predictable and then do we pray and limit our expectations from that mundane perspective? Have we sentenced ourselves to only praying within the predictable because of past disappointments and the conclusions of others? Children run around with a towel tied around their neck imagining that they can fly, imagining they are super heroes until we talk them out of it. There is no evidence in scripture that anyone imagined the Red Sea parting. Phillip could not begin to imagine 5,000 people fed with only a couple of little fish and a little bit of bread. What if when we come up against the next impossible situation we just said, “Hey, what awesome way does God want to do this?”  “What would the average person never imagine in this situation?” Graham Cooke was quoted as saying,  “Sometimes I think that sin is not necessarily immorality or selfishness. Sometimes it just means we live drab, colorless, stale, and unimaginative lives before God.” Holy Spirit, quicken the Word of God within us to inspire us to see beyond the limiting realm of our daily existence. ”For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isa.55:9, KJV)

3 Keys to Intercessory Dreams

KATHY GABLER—Three keys considering intercessory dreams:
(1.) Don’t take vicarious dreams as personal threats, because being afraid will hinder your response.
(2.) God always gives insight in time if you are being called to make a difference.
(3.) Never fail to follow through with authoritative declaration of the will of God over the situation or person.

Standing in Freedom

MARTY GABLER—If it were not possible to keep standing in freedom, our Lord would not have commanded us in His Word to do just that. He does not want us to be captive to any degree of slavery. We have been set free to enjoy freedom within the auspices of His character and redemptive purposes. Living our lives under the wisdom and direction of the Word of God leads us in the liberty of sons/daughters who know their Father desires nothing less than the richness of that purchased freedom. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Who has brought us to liberty that we may glorify Him who purchased it.   Gal.5:1,Phillips—”Plant your feet firmly therefore within the freedom that Christ has won for us, and do not let yourselves be caught again in the shackles of slavery.”

Words That Stop You in Your Tracks

MELISSA GABLER—Have you ever been praying and all of a sudden words fall out of your mouth that stop you in your tracks because they came straight from your spirit? That happened to me recently while praying over our nation. I was praying about the deep-seated darkness being exposed, then I heard myself saying this, “Angels attend to the harvest.” I all of a sudden realized that I have had a particular paradigm about “harvest” and in that moment it was turned upside down. I realized in that moment that “harvest” to me has always referred to either people getting saved or financial blessing.  In that moment, I immediately knew it was time for the wicked to receive their harvest.  In other words, it is time for the wicked to reap what they have sown, and angels are seeing to that harvesting!
