Melissa Gabler— God is putting His finger on things that must be dealt with right now in individual’s lives. This is a tremendous opportunity to be free of cycles, issues and fears that have held you and your family captive. I know there are those reading this right now that have had recent revelations of personal bondage that the Lord is unlocking. He’s opening eyes and restoring lives for, dare I say, such a time as this! So, take rest in knowing you don’t have to have it all figured out and on track before you go to bed tonight. Just simply start with realizing that He is the One that restores your soul and leads you in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake (Ps. 23). As the people of God assemble today may the Lord Jesus Christ walk into the gatherings of His people and displace dependencies among His people with the 
powerful overcoming presence of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit will hover over His people until the chaos of dependencies (personality, emotional, prescription drugs, illegal drugs, alcohol) is brought to order and liberty. Gen.1:2, Amp — “The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.” Lk.24:49, Amp “And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high.” 2Cor.3:17, Amp — “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).”

What one generation tolerates, the next does in excess. What one generation neglects, the next forgets. If we haven’t been delivered from our bondages, we will take our children into the captivity we have endured and it will be repeated at least one more generation. Where we stop short of glory, our children will stop short. (Gen.13:14-17)

The Holy Spirit who anointed Jesus, now dwells in us and enables us to be God’s visible, tangible point of rule and authority on earth. It is all by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not just kings and priests so we can have titles. We are so, by the power of the Holy Spirit for the redemptive works of our Lord in the lives of those who are held in the bondage of fear (Heb.2:15). The Holy Spirit is the One who has the mind of the Father and He will guide us in those aspects of being kingly and priestly so that we may be what the Father wants us to be in those aspects. “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].” 2Cor.3:17, Amp)

In the next few days and weeks I believe you will find the name of Jesus to be very powerful in your life and your environment — if you will call upon His name, “Jesus”, see Him heal, watch as He delivers others out of impossible strongholds of bondage and fear. Say His name and see how marvelously He delivers you from the threat of harm, even from bullies. The children’s ministers at our church have taught them to declare, “The name of Jesus is my super power”. In Acts 3:16 (Amp) Peter declared: ”And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man…” May you discover more of the power of the name of Jesus this week.
