Washed and Cleansed From Every Failure

May the Lord wash and cleanse you from every failure, every doubt and every judgment from others so that you may enter the coming season with expectancy for the extraordinary of God.
“Keep me from failure and disgrace….” (Jer.17:18a, CEV)

You are a Placeholder

placeholderIn your daily faithfulness to God, you might just be a placeholder for someone else. You may be standing between someone and their destruction and, were you not there, they might just move into that thing or that relationship or that distress that prevents their getting to destiny. Moses was a placeholder for Joshua. Elijah was a placeholder for Elisha and Paul was a placeholder for Timothy. It is like being the shoulders that someone else gets to stand on and start out on. Our ceiling is their floor. You are a placeholder for your children and very possibly even for others. 1Cor.16:13 ”Be alert, stand firm in the faith, be brave, be strong.” We are praying you discover daily that you are standing firm in the faith so that others may stand in their place of purpose. (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24 hours/day. www.txpraise.com)

Placeholders for Others

I DECLARE:  **3. We are placeholders for others.
In our faithfulness to stand where God has us standing, in our consistency.
PersonPlaceholder—You may be standing between someone and their destruction and, were you not there, they might just move into that thing or that relationship or that distress that takes them out.
—Perhaps it will even be a position that you fill that is not your life’s call but remains as long as you are there in it until the person who is supposed to fill it is able to arrive at that point.
Moses was a placeholder for Joshua.
Jonathan was a placeholder for David.
Elijah was a placeholder for Elisha.
Paul was a placeholder for Timothy.
—It is like being the shoulders that someone else gets to stand on and start out on. Our ceiling is their floor.
You are a placeholder for your children but very possibly for others.
