God-Ordained Doors
There are a variety of excuses for not going through God-ordained doors. Some of the doors are just beyond temptation, some just beyond ignorance and neglect and some are just beyond lethargy. Temptation can be resisted, ignorance can be displaced by willful pursuance of knowledge and wisdom. Neglect can be exchanged for responsible activity and lethargy can be handled by self-government. Matt.7:14,Amp — “But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.”

Doors and Decisions
In the fullness of His wisdom and who He is, Father has placed opportunities and choices before us. But our Father does not leave us without
guidance as to what kind of decisions that are best and fitting for us to make. Matt. 7:13 “Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. 14 But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.” Now we have, in both the Old Testament and in the New Testament, true foundation and guidelines for how we choose to go about making decisions. Whether or not we go through the many divinely-ordained opened doors God has put before us this year will depend upon how we make decisions this year. But you must know that there are many doors open before you. They are not just barely cracked open and they are certainly not locked but wide open for His Kingdom purposes, for His Name’s sake. Open Doors You Have not Even Imagined

Recently, while ministering in another city, we were staying in a hotel. The second day I happened to notice the slip cover for the room key. On the front it said “Doors are opening that you have not even imagined.” May the Lord work His wonders to open doors that have not even entered the imagination of His people for His Kingdom purposes.

New Gates Are Not Optional
New Gates Are Not Optional (by Kathy Gabler)
While prophesying to a lady, I saw her as a bird in a gilded cage. The door was open on the cage, but she would not fly out. Instead of leaving her captivity, she decorated it, but the golden captivity was still captivity. We can comfort ourselves with former revelation, with blessings already received and with testimonies of past obediences, or refuse to move and just focus on quests that everyone would call godly, but God’s designs are always moving beyond the past and even beyond the now. When He builds a gate, He is not presenting options; rather He is giving direction. That gate will lead to growth, increase, maturity and change. Purpose beckons us beyond our current fence line. God is faithful to build the gate, but it is up to us to choose to go through it.
