Liberation Not Accusation

KATHY GABLER— Let me say something softly so our souls hear liberation and not accusation: a Kingdom lifestyle is not self-focused or self-absorbed. Jesus thrust us into the momentum of a Kingdom lifestyle when He taught us to pray: Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven; and Father’s answers to that prayer are continually incoming into earth. A Kingdom lifestyle is staying positioned to participate in that incoming process.

Situations Turned Completely Around

MARTIN GABLER—May the Lord turn situations completely around to your benefit. May the Lord shut the mouths of those who are attempting to hinder your progress and purpose and defeat their attempts.  We received a call about a man several of us have been agreeing with in prayer. For several years, several of his superiors had decided to prevent any promotions for him. They were hindering his being facilitated properly to get his job done, attempting to make him look bad. Some were jealous of his success in his projects. But now, suddenly, the Lord has turned the tables and they all are apologizing to him and helping him! God is not finished with people or situations they create. Look for Him to turn it all around.   “The upright shall see it and be glad, but all iniquity shall shut its mouth.” (Ps.107:42, Amp)   “You who love the Lord, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.” (Ps.97:10, NKJV)

Why Awakening is so Intense

MELISSA GABLER — It is all starting to make sense why this awakening is so intense.  We have the opportunity to move from a substandard life to a premium life if we will embrace this alarm and not press the snooze button! This moment really is an invitation to something incredible.  This is an invitation to enter into and function from the fear of the Lord for the sake of the Kingdom and for His glory.  I really like the sound of that.  I really want to live that.

Seek the Kingdom First

KATHY GABLER—Rebuilding the temple in Haggai parallels our mandate in the New Testament, “Seek first the Kingdom of God,” because He was telling them: 1) Put ME first daily, 2) be determined to know Me and honor Me daily and 3) submit to MY government, MY authority, MY purpose, MY call, MY plans and MY order for your life . . . DAILY.  Grow into a mature son.  Change the future by learning how and where you were created to succeed.

Delusions and Lies be Defeate

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today, may delusions and lies be defeated, and their minds be opened to the transforming truths of the Holy Bible; and may they discover keys from God’s Word to the defeating, distracting things that bind so that they walk out free in Christ Jesus.   “Open my mind and let me discover the wonders of your Law.” (Ps.119:18, CEV)

A Work in You

MARTIN GABLER–May the Lord do a life-work in you. May it be a work that will settle something, that will loose something, that will open up something, that will thrill your soul and cause your spirit to soar. May it be a part of your present victories and your future accomplishments. (2Thess.1:11-12, Msg) “…we pray for you all the time—pray that our God will make you fit for what He’s called you to be, pray that he’ll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with his own energy so that it all amounts to something. If your life honors the name of Jesus, he will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this,” We are praying you discover daily God’s grace working in you.

Not Needing to Know

MELISSA GABLER—It came to me that to actually trust God meant to actually let go of needing to know the process of getting to an answer. I’ve never functioned like that. Unfortunately my M.O. has been to ask and believe for a God-outcome while all along fixating on my logic’s only conclusion as to how that could happen. That, my friends, will WEAR. YOU. OUT. In that moment it felt good, it felt right to let go, and something in me took a deep breath for the first time.

It Brings Radical Results

KATHY GABLER–It is possible that fresh obedience will bring such radical results that it will be tempting to get caught up in revolution rather than obedience! That is a warning to the wise. If we become revolutionary through passion rather than wisdom and obedience, the results will not be the same. Making changes for the sake of change is about passion. Expecting or demanding immediate change can be about impatience rather than obedience. Nevertheless, fresh obedience will be revolutionary.

Lost Time and Opportunities

MARTIN GABLER–May we not focus on the loss of time and opportunities as we head into the last quarter of this year. But may we focus on Him Who is faithful and desirous to get us to appointed times and purposes and may He help us not to sabotage what He is working in us.

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.” (Ps.138:8, NKJV)

Take Hold of Plan A

MELISSA GABLER—This is the time to loose your grasp on plan B and take hold, with both hands, of plan A — Father’s original intent for your life. If your answer is hidden, ask God what the right question is in this moment. Ask Him what, in you, might be hindering the answer. Ask Him what you need to know today. He’s got plans for you, He is not into punishing you. His M.O. is all about forgiveness, redemption, relationship, and promotion, all for His glory. Hey, if He tells you it’s simply about timing then it’s really that simple. His timing is perfect. Look at the birth and life of Samuel. Perseverance is key! It’s going to be an amazing time heading into next year. Get ready for your answers.

Winning War or Merely Surviving?

KATHY GABLER–The key difference between winning war and merely surviving is our beliefs and attitudes, and both start in our thinking. That’s why God was trying to change Judah’s thinking and focus (Hag.1:5-9). Rebuilding the temple would change their future. Rebuilding the temple would set their priorities in order and break the cycle they were in. Rebuilding the temple was about vision and purpose. When we have vision of a future that is different, better and beyond today’s limitations, we can muster the passion and zeal to take ground and get to change.

Staying on Track

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today, may those who “fall” and “mess up”, and can’t seem to stay on track for very long, get a good dose of the Word and the Holy Ghost and run the race as faithful servants of the Lord. May their reputation change from “faller” to “faithful”.“Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.” (2Pe.1:10, Amp)

Give us Enablement

MARTY GABLER–There are people who need you, O Lord. They need to be strengthened, encouraged, equipped and comforted. Give us enablement that is beyond who we are, what we know and what we can do so that they may be edified and impacted to the degree you want them to be.
“So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God’s family with you, the believers].” (Gal.6:10, Amp)

Asking the Right Questions

MELISSA GABLER— We can ask the right kind of questions that lead down a path of deliverance, healing, and action.  When we ask the right questions we are able to hear the answers we need.  When we ask fear-based questions we have already come to the wrong, statistic-based, society-experienced conclusions.  These soulish conclusions make it really hard to hear a Spirit answer.  So, a good place to start asking the right question is to ask the Holy Spirit, “What questions should I be asking about this situation?” He will tell you, and most of the time these questions carry the answer in them.  The right questions are a key to unlock doors and chains.  The right questions give you the right perspective.

The Variables in Life

KATHY GABLER—Thought For Today: We would rather have a list of absolutes about everything, but I suspect God leaves the variables in life on purpose because the only way to process them to meaning and worth is through relationship with Him.

The Word of His Power

MARTY GABLER—GOD doesn’t uphold (“to move by bearing; to keep from falling”) all things by the word of His mere considerations or musings but by the Word of His power. (Heb 1:3) That Word is described as the Word of His power. His power produces His Word to us, to be active in us, alive in us, doing surgery in us, healing us, strengthening us and improving us. The Word of God is mighty in you because it is the Word of His power. Declare into the atmosphere that the Word of God is mighty in you and active in you and upholding you. The Word is a seed and is increasing in you. The effect of the Word of God in you is increasing in you, in your family, in your church, in your community and in your nation.

When Heb 1:3 says He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, one thing it is saying is that Jesus never misrepresented the Father. As the radiance of His glory Jesus did not glow but He lived out the character of God where it could be seen and benefited from. That is the purpose of the Word of His power working mightily in us.

Align What Has Been Out of Line

MELISSA GABLER—With one word God intends to align what has been out of line.  With one word He intends to right the wrongs.  With one word He intends to do what He had in mind all along. The word “radical” has become my one word declaration over many situations and people. It’s one word, but it says it all! Right here in the middle of some of the most chaotic days of most of our lives, God says one word — one very loaded and life-changing word.  It might seem like the end of all things, but fear not.  We are about to see the radical that has been happening behind the scenes. We might think we have seen radical happening already. Nope, we are about to see radical for real.  Isaiah 55:11 (His word will accomplish what He pleases) is a truth that we will see manifest in our day.  How so? Radically.  No need in any of us trying to figure out how, for whom, or even when. God’s radical is a steam engine barreling down the track building speed. Let’s just get out of the way. To you and your family I say, “radical!” To the United States of America, one nation under God, I say, “RADICAL!”

Have You Been Setup?

KATHY GABLER—As we have seen in Hag.1:5-9, Judah was set-up to cower under pressure. We can understand why they shrunk back.  They had been captives for generations. We can live under hereditary curses and generational outlooks on life that “set us up” to suffer loss financially or physically or relationally simply because that is the only experience we have known.  We can be programmed for defeat and have mindsets that keep us prisoner to the same beliefs, appetites, reactions and choices of prior generations.  If that is the case, we are likely to spend our lives merely surviving, not winning, not increasing, not taking any spoils.  If we examine our lives, we might discover that is why we survive instead of advance.  Have we, like Judah, been conditioned by our experiences instead of the Truth?

No Matter What Storms Rage

MARTY GABLER—As the people of God assemble today they can confidently rejoice and worship Mighty God Who watches over His people and keeps them by the power of His Right Hand, no matter what storms rage and no matter what present circumstances and the machinations of men are trying to portray about the future. Isa.41:10,Amp—“‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].

The Contender Has Met Darkness Head-On

MARTY GABLER–The Contender Has Met Darkness Head-On.   The soaking-worship began at 6:30p.m. last Wednesday night. Melissa stepped up to the mic as the instruments began playing and she began to spontaneously worship Jesus. Pastor Bill, who was scheduled to teach on healing that night just laid down on the floor. About 6:55p.m. Kathy and I walked into the auditorium. We walked down to the third row under a heavy presence of the Holy Spirit.

I began walking, worshipping and interceding along the right wall. After a while I was leaning on the wall. A few minutes later, I was holding myself up with one hand on the wall and the other hand on a chair back. That wasn’t working so I knelt at the chair.

About half-way through the evening I and several others began intermittently releasing a yell as we were stirred and touched by the Holy Spirit in the midst of holy worship. It was at this point that Melissa stepped back from the mic and the instruments began to play a new song.

The music began to gently swell and recede in a most beautiful way. (As we compared notes after the meeting, we discovered that several of us had heard a keyboard though no one was at the keyboard.) As the music began to swell I had a vision like I have never had. I saw gently-rolling hills that seemed to be alive. Over the closest hill came a great hoard of powerful horses with flaring nostrils and great flowing manes. On their backs were fierce warriors who stood in the stirrups with hands fast upon their reins and leaning forward, alongside the horses necks. They seemed to be speaking to the horses. The warriors’ long hair flowed in the wind as did the horses’ manes. While they listened, the horses eyes were focused intently upon what was ahead.

The view was panoramic. On the far right were the horses and riders. There didn’t seem to be any ground that was not being covered with horses hooves. There didn’t seem to be any spaces between the horses. Their great strides were covering an amazing amount of ground with each gallop.

Suddenly, my attention was drawn to the left side of the panorama. Up from behind a rock a dark, startled creature popped up and began staring at the flowing tide coming down upon him. A ways over from this creature, another popped up from behind a bush and yet another popped up from behind a small knoll, all terrified at what was soon and inevitably going to happen. At this point, 2K 6:16 “more are those who are with us than those who are with them” came to mind. Then, the advancing tide of horses and warriors rolled over the creatures as though they were nothing before their fierce and focused momentum.

Just moments after I had seen the vision Melissa, without knowing what I had seen, stepped back to the mic and began to sing, “He is The Great Contender and He has met darkness head-on tonight.” Jehovah-Sabaoth, Lord of Hosts, is contending with those who oppose His purposes.

Psa 2:1  Why the big noise, nations? Why the mean plots, peoples? 2  Earth-leaders push for position, Demagogues and delegates meet for summit talks, The God-deniers, the Messiah-defiers: 3  “Let’s get free of God! Cast loose from Messiah!” 4  Heaven-throned God breaks out laughing. At first he’s amused at their presumption; 5  Then he gets good and angry. Furiously, he shuts them up: 6  “Don’t you know there’s a King in Zion? A coronation banquet Is spread for him on the holy summit.” 7  Let me tell you what GOD said next. He said, “You’re my son, And today is your birthday. 8  What do you want? Name it: Nations as a present? continents as a prize? 9  You can command them all to dance for you, Or throw them out with tomorrow’s trash.” 10  So, rebel-kings, use your heads; Upstart-judges, learn your lesson: 11  Worship GOD in adoring embrace, Celebrate in trembling awe. 12  Kiss Messiah! Your very lives are in danger, you know; His anger is about to explode, But if you make a run for God–you won’t regret it! (Msg)

We are not helpless and ineffective before the opposition of darkness. Darkness is not the insurmountable, indefatigable force its propaganda is meant to conjure up.   ( > This is a post I found in my notes from sometime back. I felt I should post it again today.)

Feeling Bombarded?

MELISSA GABLER–It’s been something else the last month or so! There have been many calls, reports and instances that could keep one in the prayer closet 24/7 (let alone what’s going on nationally). It’s one of those moments that, while feeling bombarded, you realize there are many feeling the same way so there must be something bigger afoot. If you are nodding your head in agreement right now I would just like to encourage you. In the middle of a rather intense evening recently my mom said, “This is a threshold war.” That was the hammer that struck the gong right there! I then saw me and my family pushing through a clear membrane into a new place. Then around 3:00AM the next morning, I woke up and kept hearing, “You are there.” The only thing left was writing on the wall! We are at a new threshold!

Give Careful Thought to Your Priorities

KATHY GABLER—Hag 1:5-9,  “The LORD Almighty says “Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” This is what The LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways.  Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the LORD. “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the LORD Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.” (NIV)    The instructions were clear: “Give careful thought to your priorities.  Don’t decide your day according to your problems or your feelings or your circumstances.  Order your life according to my wisdom and honor.”  He was telling them to think differently so they could change their world.

An Invitation to Come Up

MARTY GABLER–When God says: For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts (Isa 55:9), He is not attempting to get us up under severe condemnation, He is offering an invitation to come up to where His ways and thoughts are so that we can know those ways and have those thoughts. Why would He do otherwise when going up to His ways and thoughts will bring glory to His name and cause the Kingdom to advance in the earth? He is saying that we are not quite there yet but just keep coming. He called Abraham up on top of the mountain and instructed him to “Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward; for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever. (Gen 13:14-15) Abraham had to get his eyes off himself and off his immediate failures and limitations and off the economic condition of the surrounding nations and off the hurts he received in his relationship with Lot. He had to lift his eyes to the Word of God, to the promises of God. Look up from where you are and get your eyes on the victories of the risen Christ and… what you can see, your children will inherit (Gen 13:15).

Take the Time to Pay Attention

MELISSA GABLER — What do I do when these prophetic things occur?  Here’s where I start: TAKE THE TIME TO PAY ATTENTION.  Remember, this life is meant to be EPIC. Take time to act, pray, speak it/declare it, write it down or simply agree in that moment. If it’s not obvious what to do, ask God for instruction. You may need to hold on to it for future reference.  Don’t get impatient and jump into action if the action is not clear.  That could lead to an unpleasant outcome.  He could be training you in that moment, getting you ready.
