Relationships and God-Appointments

MARTY—God had spoken to David years before he met those guys in 1Chron.12. But relationship with them played a major role in bringing him to the throne. David was not able to get into his God-appointed position without those important relationships. Rom.12:4-5 shows us that we cannot prove the will of God by ourselves but only in relationship. Rom.12:4-5, Amp — “For just as in one [physical] body we have many parts, and these parts do not all have the same function or special use, 5 so we, who are many, are [nevertheless just] one body in Christ, and individually [we are] parts one of another [mutually dependent on each other].”

Diffusing The Ticking Bomb

Kathy — If we just talk about what we sense or what is going on, that is like laying a ticking bomb in the laps of others instead of diffusing it! Anything that is contradictory to God’s will should be confronted with God’s Truth. The Truth is Jesus. The truth is His Word and character and purpose in earth as in heaven, and we can speak it and release it as a counterforce to contradictions, and it will make a difference. As believers and sons of God we cannot be more focused on conditions than the Truth. If we intend to pray in faith, we must think according to His Word and principles and character, instead of falling into being upset over circumstances.

Stand Where Bid to Stand

May the people of God realize His continual presence and support. May they stand where bid to stand and do what they are bid to do with a heart to get it done. May they declare that they will be strong and courageous knowing that a wise God with a successful plan has called them to stand and declare, and believe and do. “Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. “ (Jos 1:7, NASB)

God’s Will, Our Dream

God’s will birthed in our spirit is given us as a dream (not necessarily the night time sort but a great desire) or vision. Our receptive spirit is the “womb” God uses to develop and grow that will. The “offspring of God” will despoil the enemy and render him impotent and that is why Pharaoh wanted to destroy all the male babies. It would be through one of the male offspring (the planning and product of God) that God would leave Egypt empty handed and utterly defeated. Breathing and Carrying God-Purpose

(Kathy Gabler)—Everyone breathing is carrying a God-purpose. We are living in this time to be sons and daughters of God making history in the earth. Not one of us is insignificant or without a holy calling. Whether we realize it or not, our purpose is a piece of the bigger purpose that God is stewarding. You may be a school bus driver that God positioned in a sphere of protection over three children that the enemy’s trying to take out before they become a principal and mayor and police chief that they were born to be. Perhaps you are raising a child that will affect the medical world in twenty years. Maybe you are living in a particular county so that your taxes can help change it for a God-plan. Perhaps part of your purpose is being God’s expression of mercy in an office or for you to be the medicine of healing because you can make others laugh. Or maybe He placed your skills and personality as a connector to get people to solutions in a community. Most of the time we are not aware of how God is using the details of our daily lives as a part of His bigger intention, but God watches over you and who you were born to be. He also intends that you outlive anything that contradicts any facet of your multi-faceted purpose and fulfillment.(Kathy is speaking at Kingdom Congress 2019.)

Feeling Disqualified but Still Positioned

Do you think Mary was PREPARED for a conversation with an angel to end with her being pregnant with the Messiah?  Her girlish daydreams of romance and home and family had never played out like this, neither could these circumstances fit in any of her spiritual aspirations!  Nothing could have prepared her to feel so disqualified in her society yet be so divinely POSITIONED in the plans of God . . . in destiny . . . in purpose . . . in history! (Fifth excerpt from Kathy’s article “Positioned for Purpose”.)

Made in a Wonderful Way

God has a plan for each of us to walk out in our life (Jer.29:11). Our Lord has put within each of us a personality, gifting and abilities that He has designed to use uniquely to His glory. They must become significant considerations in our growth and maturity development. The way our wise God put us together is the way He means for us to function effectively in His plan. You may become discouraged and stop short of that plan, but you don’t have to… not at any point.  (Ps.139:13-14, ERV) “You formed the way I think and feel. You put me together in my mother’s womb. 14  … you made me in such a wonderful way.”  We are praying you discover daily that you are being what God made you to be to His Glory.  (Marty’s Daily Discovery as heard on TEXAS PRAISE RADIO at the bottom of the hour 24hrs/day.)

What of the New Year? — Thoughts, Plans & Inventions

The Psalmist declares he is aware that He is included in God’s thoughts. One of the meanings of “thoughts” (Jer.29:11) is “an invention.” God has a plan for you in 2013 and, if necessary, He will INVENT required elements to work together to get you to that goal that glorifies Him and serves His purposes. He is beneficent and He is creative.

“thoughts”: a device, a plan, a purpose, AN INVENTION (Thayer)

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.” (Jer.29:11, Amp)
