The Word is Alive

The Hebrew writer (Heb.4:12) is showing us that God’s Word is alive. This “alive” ManPraiseSunriseWord is Jesus as described in Jn 1:1-3. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word is not merely a thought or something that is vocalized; the Word is the divine Person. He has never not been alive. Even when His body was in the garden tomb for several days, the Bible says that hell was reeling and shaking because the Word which cannot ever be dead, was walking the corridors of hell collecting the keys to hell and the grave. (Rev 1:18) That earthly body was dead but the Word was still alive and active getting things accomplished regardless of, and not bound by, the lifeless body.

Interrupting Agendas of Darkness

Melissa and the Grace Worship Team had been asked to start the worship in the Awaken the Dawn  prayer and worship project in Texas.  Anticipation had been churchlightraysbuilding in me for three weeks that this assignment would be part of a God intersection in history at our state capitol in Austin.  I was confident there would be a sound released that pierced through opposition and spiritual darkness and interference.  I had seen a sound piercing through the heavens to open a portal, an access for God’s desire “as it is in heaven” into the earth, an opening for a God-flow into the politics of our state and nation.  From the first sound, God’s presence and anointing was infusing the atmosphere around the governmental heart of our state.  As we entered the iron gate we heard the sound, and friends coming down Congress Avenue by car heard the sound of Melissa’s voice declaring, “We set our hope on the One who is the EVERLASTING GOD.”  I stood in awe that that particular proclamation echoed over the grounds of the state capitol of Texas in 2018.

When I reached the sidewalk in front of the capitol, I was aware that angelic forces were at work ushering in changes in circumstances and filling the capitol building with light that would penetrate its recesses and resources.  A breeze literally swept across us signaling the winds of change were arriving that would leave no sabotaging evil untouched.  I perceived the Spirit of God was interrupting the pace of men and their agendas whether those agendas were public or private.  —Kathy Gabler  (Fifth excerpt from “Ever Increasing”)

Word and Power

It is apparent, and important to note, that “word” and “power” are related in the Bible. The two terms go together most purposefully. The Bible shows us clearly that wordswordthe Word of God is not just some ink on some paper and it is not just a thought that happened to get scribbled down that works well for inspirational reading. The Word of God is power; it is active, operative, energizing and effective. The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. That word “any” just can’t help but stand out. The Word is more effective than any cutting instrument, no matter how well made or refined. The Word cuts through layers better than any scalpel. The Word, in articles, books and posts like this, is being worked in you by the Holy Spirit and is building you up in your most holy faith (Jude 1:20). Your faith is holy. i.e., (1) It is uniquely set apart unto God and (2) it has value. The Word of God that your faith is based upon has value for your life and for your family and your nation. (Ps 19:7-11); (also Heb.4:12; Num.11:23; 1Cor.1:18; 1Thess.1:5; Heb.1:3)

Prevail Over Contradictions

Whatever God puts in motion, our part is obedience that completes His intent and gets the God-result in history.  I watched my daughter Melissa get set up for such an MSG_worship_GIC Sept2012obedience.  Every state had received a call to have an intercessory group go to their capitol and begin a Tent America worship and prayer vigil on the same day.  The focus was God’s will for both the state and the nation. The coordinator for Texas planned to start the project with worship.  Worship, like Judah, was going first because worship absorbs our focus in who God is and who is God.  Starting from that focus is essential if we are to get to God results. Worship is a priority in life’s warfare because it sets our footing for battle which is the truth of who He is and what He has designed and desired.  To prevail over contradictions and dispel darkness, we must start from Light and Truth, “if God be . . . then who or what can be against?”  Worship is a commitment to truth, starting the way we mean to go and declaring whose outcome we mean to agree with in earth as in heaven. —Kathy Gabler  (Fourth excerpt from “Ever Increasing”)

Awareness of More to Come

LookingForward

As the people of God assemble today may we step out of our mere human expectancies and step over into the awareness of the fact that there is more to come and, in order to meet the challenge of that which is coming, dedicate and prepare ourselves as though there is a tomorrow in which to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth.  “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come…” (Lk.19:13)

A God-Deposit

At a Divine intersection where Father has brought us into position for intercession, a God-deposit can manifest in the earth.  That is quite literally the Kingdom PlantSeed.jpgcoming.  Every God-change that judges the agendas of evil or alters the agendas of ignorance in the earth is God answering the prayer He told us to pray, “Thy Kingdom come.”  So, we dare not consider “our tiny part” insignificant or of no consequence.  God’s will being done in earth is not about our significance anyway, it is about our obedience.  We act upon the glimpse we have and Jer.11 (MSG) tells us that “obedience seals the deal”.  Whatever God puts in motion, our part is obedience that completes His intent and gets the God-result in history.  We can pray and proclaim and follow through from the piece we have even if we have no awareness of its ultimate significance or ripple effect. —Kathy Gabler  (Third excerpt from “Ever Increasing”)

See the Bigger Picture

Prayer & Declare — All-Powerful Lord, I pray that we might be able to see what is beyond our limited sight and understand that which is beyond our confined MountainManLookcomprehension that we may see the bigger picture which You have in mind and function more effectively, not being held back by our small paradigms. May we no longer prefer our petty paradigms but deny them their limiting hold on us while looking to see your expansive possibilities.  I declare that we will lift up our eyes from the din of what we hear and see and will look to You and Your Word and Your Power that are able to perform that which You have promised and that which You intend according to Your great wisdom.   “And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward;” (Gen.13:14, NKJV)   “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help?  2  My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” (Ps.121:1-2, NKJV)

Increase in Intensity

I can’t help but think that there has to be a greater degree of the will of God Increase-man-arrowactivated in this current generation than any previous just because the Kingdom is ever-increasing (Isa. 9:7).  An increase in the intensity and extremes of evil do not change that truth, in fact they testify to darkness getting more obvious because of the Light.  When we consider the hugeness of matters such as the Kingdom coming and God’s will being done in the earth and the ever unstoppable, increasing government of God, we may be tempted to step back and think that all sounds out of reach for little ole me. Yet, if a tiny glimpse of what God wants to do in the life of a cashier in Walmart or a piece of understanding concerning God’s will about the President of the United States brings me to a prayer of agreement, that moment is a touch-point between heaven and earth.

Ever Increasing

While we cannot fathom how many voices have come before God praying, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as in heaven,” neither can we doubt the kingdomofheavenfaithfulness of our Father to answer that prayer.  The continual incoming and continually increasing government of God is a force in the earth that cannot be measured or predicted or controlled by the plans of men.  Men cannot pre-guess the effects and changes the government of God brings to any day or decade, and neither can mankind dismiss or ignore Kingdom effects.  There are definite patterns of evil in the earth that are recorded in history, and this often causes people to believe that history repeating itself is an unchangeable absolute, but that is not the case.  That thinking can lead to hopelessness and hinder our participation in bringing change if we allow it, but the truth is that cycles and patterns are not all-powerful or unbeatable dictators of the future. (Kathy Gabler – First excerpt from “Ever Increasing”)

Is This the End?

Is this the end? It is for some very old wickedness.  It has mocked God and is getting harvestcrushed to oblivion.  We have to remember this when the battle is this intense.  Hey, if those who have sown to the flesh are reaping destruction, then the other side of that coin is heaven on earth! “But the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.” (Gal. 6:8-9 AMP) Don’t push this promise off to someday when you die. God’s original intent is for us to be heaven-on-earth during our lifetime. Heaven is invading earth right now.  This harvest is here for both sides of this coin! While the corrupt are meeting their corruption the just are receiving their promises. This is a beautiful time to be alive.  We get to see the justice and goodness of a God that will never be mocked.  You can be assured of that!  Angels, attend to the harvest! —Melissa Gabler

Hunger and Thirst After God

As the people of God assemble today may they hunger and thirst after the presence drinkwaterwithhands.pngand infilling and moving of Holy Spirit and the impact of the Word of God in their lives. “God—you’re my God! I can’t get enough of you! I’ve worked up such hunger and thirst for God, traveling across dry and weary deserts. So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. In your generous love I am really living at last! My lips brim praises like fountains. I bless you every time I take a breath; My arms wave like banners of praise to you.” (Ps.63:1-4, Msg)

Looking for the Goodness of the Lord

This is the day the Lord has made so…
LookIntoDistanceI will rejoice because I am looking for the goodness of the Lord today and I know that I do not look in vain. So, I will take courage and I will hope for and expect the Lord.  “[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living! 14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.” (Ps.27:13-14, Amp)

Darkness Has an Expiration Date

Darkness has an expiration date and its number has been called.  The Hosts of DateExpiration.pngHeaven are currently attending to that matter.  “For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction.” There it is in rather simple language.  This corrupt spirit has been defying, challenging and ridiculing the original intent of God and its time is up.  God’s intent is the only thing that carries life and blessing.  Anything outside of that is an enemy of God and will surely self destruct …with some help from Angel Armies. —Melissa Gabler

Independence Declaration

I declare, today, my independence from the mind that is enmity toward God FlagCrossAlmighty. I declare independence from dead works and lifeless observances in order that I might effectively serve the ever-living God. “How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?” (Heb.9:14, Amp)

Do Not be Deceived

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, ReapingHarvest.jpgnor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap.  For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:7-8 Amplified). As my hair stood on end, I realized this is the chaotic shriek we are hearing on a daily basis throughout this nation.  The wicked ARE receiving their harvest because they have mocked the Great I AM.  The humanistic spirit of this age thought it killed God.  Oops!

Don’t Agree With the Enemy

A farmer we know had a new Doberman puppy. One morning the puppy was in the barn with the horse. The farmer’s wife heard the horse stomping around and then heard a desperate yelp from the puppy! She ran into the barn and found the tiny puppy limp and lifeless. She could see no wound, but the small pet lay in the puddle of released bowels she knew to be a sign of sudden death. She rushed the unresponsive puppy to the vet. The vet took one look at the dog and said, “The dog is dead. There is nothing I can do.”

puppydoberman.jpgWhen the farmer returned, his wife broke the news that his new puppy was on the back porch dead. The farmer knelt beside the stiff little body and studied the once shiny eyes now glazed in a dead stare. He called her name, “Princess.” He watched the motionless pup intently. Moments later, she moved her tail slightly. He called her name again, “Princess,” and began to stroke her. The tiny tail broke into a full swing, lifting her rear off the ground into a full wag! When he called her name, she suddenly agreed with her identity and purpose and future instead of what might have been. We will never know if the horse actually kicked her or just came close. Either way, the dog who thought she was dead overcame the trauma of the giant in the barn and lived to fulfill her purpose, becoming the best watch dog the farmer ever had.

Sometimes all our enemy has to do is show up. We give up because of OPPOSITION. Sometimes all he has to do is be taller. We give up because of INTIMIDATION. Sometimes all he has to do is cast a shadow over us. We give up because of DOUBTS. Sometimes all he has to do is be louder than hope. We give up because of IMPOSSIBILITIES. Sometimes all he has to do is out last us. We give up because of LACK of PERSEVERANCE. Sometimes all our enemy has to do is scare us with what might have been. If in shock we AGREE, he is successful. It is not what the enemy takes, it is what we give over! Some things were given over in past generations, but we can even take those things back through agreeing with our Redeemer!

Harvest

Have you ever been praying and all of a sudden words fall out of your mouth that HarvestFieldstop you in your tracks because they came straight from your spirit? That happened to me recently while praying over our nation. I was praying about the deep-seated darkness being exposed, then I heard myself saying this, “Angels attend to the harvest.” I all of a sudden realized that I have had a particular paradigm about “harvest” and in that moment it was turned upside down. I realized in that moment that “harvest” to me has always referred to either people getting saved or financial blessing.  In that moment, I immediately knew it was time for the wicked to receive their harvest.  In other words, it is time for the wicked to reap what they have sown, and angels are seeing to that harvesting! (Melissa Gabler, first excerpt from “Reaping”)

That Committed to Him

As the people of God assemble today may they know to Whom they belong and to prayer_look upWhom they have committed all their yesterdays and all their tomorrows to. May they speak of Yahweh and His assurances to one another and may they worship Him in spirit and in truth. “…I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day.” (2Tim.1:12, Amp)

Hold Fast

The blimp bobbed a bit and then shot skyward in spite of its bulk. The wind picked it up like a child’s toy and handled it without difficulty. All of the crew had let go of Hot balloon3.jpgtheir lines except for one lone worker who realized too late that he was above the limit of safety for letting go. My heart leapt and I hollered out encouragement for the poor fellow to hold on. It was readily apparent that the frightened lad was “holding fast” to the line that was his only hope for safety from death. He maintained a determined hold on that line, for what seemed an eternity, until the pilot was finally able to set the behemoth safely back down. In like manner, we must absolutely “hold fast” to the Word of God which we have heard. Scrambling about, simply and desperately reaching for the handiest thing will never suffice. We must hold to the Word of God in order to be set down in the place of safety. There is no substitute or replacement for the life-saving Word of God.  Lk 8:15  “But as for that [seed] in the good soil, these are [the people] who, hearing the Word, HOLD IT FAST in a just (noble, virtuous) and worthy heart, and steadily bring forth fruit with patience.” (Amp)

Harm Not Acceptable

Injury or harm are not an acceptable part of a day or life of a son/daughter of God. MountainSunriseCloudsThis day, by faith in the name of Jesus, I draw the Bloodline (the New Testament, the New Covenant provision purchased for me by the shed Blood of JESUS at Calvary) around me and my family. We are the redeemed of the Lord and we say so. I receive my Lord’s provision and covering for safe keeping that I, and mine, may be healthy and walk fully in the fulfillment of His covenant purposes in our generation.  “and he said: “Lord God of Israel, there is no God in heaven above or on earth below like You, who keep Your covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their hearts.” (1Kings8:23, NKJV)

Deliverance from Defeat of Generational Curses

Our merciful and caring God wants to deliver people from the illnesses and/or diseases that their parents had; e.g., heart disease, kidney disease, cancer, blood family walkingissues, mental issues. He wants to deliver people from out of the same rut a parent was in; e.g., poverty, stubbornness, temper, anger, dependency on alcohol, drugs or personalities. I declare that we are coming out of the defeat of generational curses and setting a victorious course for our generation and generations to come. We will enter into and possess promises that former generations never embraced.   “Seeing then that the promise remains over [from past times] for some to enter that rest, and that those who formerly were given the good news about it and the opportunity, failed to appropriate it and did not enter because of disobedience,  7  Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest] saying through David after so long a time in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts.”(Heb.4:6-7, Amp)
