The Offspring Of God
God’s will birthed in our spirit is given us as a dream (not necessarily the night time sort but a great desire) or vision. Our receptive spirit is the “womb” God uses to develop and grow that
will. The “offspring of God” will despoil the enemy and render him impotent and that is why Pharaoh wanted to destroy all the male babies. It would be through one of the male offspring (the planning and product of God) that God would leave Egypt empty handed and utterly defeated.

Don’t Let The Enemy Kill Your Dream
The enemy knows that if he cannot kill your dream, it will do him damage. The Egyptians made the Israelites’ lives “bitter with hard labor” and the “Egyptians used them ruthlessly (Ex.1:14).” Pharaoh also came up with a plan to abort the possibility of deliverance. His plan for the midwives was to slay all
promise and even hope of deliverance. He wanted them to stay at it, be vigorous, don’t let up, slay them all.
I am reminded at this point of Jesus’ words “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy (Jn.10:10).” The enemy quietly made a deal with the midwives to go about their destruction as quietly as possible – hopefully unnoticed (cf.Ex.1:16).
The devil wants you to die in quiet desperation, preferably completely away from spiritual help and fellowship. He wants your dreams and visions to die unshared, unvoiced and most definitely…. unfulfilled.
Just as a sheep is ever searching out life-sustaining grass, it seems that we are ever searching out God’s will. God’s plan is ever to reproduce Himself in us. That’s why He gives us dreams and visions. He puts a “bullseye” out there, aims us at it and desires we move in obedience toward the center of the target.

Do Not Tread Thoughtlessly
Where you are standing may look like ordinary ground at first glance. Where you are presently may seem like a wilderness without purpose but there is an all-wise, loving Father who in His wisdom and within His customized timetable of events says, “Take off your shoes so that you do not tread thoughtlessly on ground and time that I have set apart for a purpose.”
“Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” (Ex.3:5, NKJV)

Keys In Recurring Dreams
Two keys in considering recurring dreams are:
(1.) Tolerating troubling, recurring dreams instead of resolving them can water a troubling condition and keep it bearing fruit in your life.
(2.) Get to the root of recurring dreams so they become a tool.
Deposits, downloads and disclosures through dreams only become a beneficial tool to us when we follow up with a real life response.

Disclosure Dreams
The bottom line is that disclosure dreams reveal issues in our lives and if you ignore the dream, you ignore the issue. Then you coexist with it instead of conquering it. One of the most obvious types of disclosure dreams is recurring dreams or dreams with a recurring theme (i.e., similar settings, action, emotions, outcomes or atmospheres). These types of dreams can be from God or
our own springs, but they are revealing something that we need to be aware of, address and/or resolve. A recurring dream can be an ongoing process so that every time you dream it, you are moving toward resolve. A recurring dream can become a personal indicator like our teapot telling us when we’re about to blow or when we are battling an old, familiar war. A recurring dream can be an ongoing process bringing clarity to a future mandate, obedience or strategy. A recurring dream can reveal a memory that needs closure. A recurring dream can signal an unconscious battle or fear. Or recurring dreams can reveal a destructive pattern or cycle that needs to be broken. I’ve talked to a number of dreamers that discovered two or more generations had the same troubling, recurring dreams because the root was not resolved in the first generation. We can pursue an understanding of recurring dreams and take issues to God for deliverance, resolve or healing and stop tormenting dreams, perhaps for generations!

Dreams–A Communication Tool
Dreams can also be a communication tool that is a disclosure within ourselves, between our subconscious and conscious mind. Though these dreams may not be a telegram from God, they can still be sanctioned by a God-purpose for our life. These type dreams can help us “work out our own
salvation,” by revealing issues that are causing dysfunction or lack or sickness.
These dreams spring from our senses, concerns, questions, thoughts, choices, emotions, desires and imaginings, “dreams which you cause to be dreamed” (Jer.29:8) or they spring from memories, beliefs, values, worries, fears, stresses, etc., “dreams come when there are many cares” (Ecc. 5:3). A common disclosure dream is that you are back in school, but can’t find your class, or you didn’t bring your homework, or you forgot your clothes! In either case, the disclosure of what is going on inside is that you are dealing with feelings of being unequipped or inadequate or you are fearing failure or humiliation, etc.

Three Keys Considering Intercessory Dreams
Three keys considering intercessory dreams:
(1.) Don’t take vicarious dreams as personal threats, because being afraid will hinder your response.
(2.) God always gives insight in time if you are being called to make a difference.
(3.) Never fail to follow through with authoritative declaration of the will of God over the situation or person.

Intercessory Follow-Through
God does not expose people to a troubling dream so they can be worried and tormented or start grieving early. Intercessors must shake off the emotions of the experience to be
able to agree with God and change the situation. The biggest mistake with intercessory insights is the lack of follow-through by the dreamer, and that is usually because:
(1.) they do not realize it is a call to intercede,
(2.) they fail to accept the mission because of a sense of inadequacy or being unqualified as an intercessor,
(3.) they stay in the emotion of the dream rather than taking a position of authority and agreement with God to break an assignment or
(4.) they go into panic over timing, considering it a done-deal already.

Dreams That Plead The Cause Of God
Prophetic dreams or visions that reveal God’s command to plead the cause of God are intercessory dreams. Consider your dream a call to intercession if:
(1.) You are either in an observer position, getting insights from God’s all-knowing perspective or if you are a vicarious target (experiencing nothing that has any possibility in your life.) A vicarious dream can be traumatic because the dreamer literally experiences the pain someone else is in or can be caught up in the same battle someone else is having with perversion or drugs or demons etc. An intercessory dream is a call to a first-person war in another’s behalf.
(2.) Consider your dream a call to intercession if you are awaken, stirred or concerned, or
(3.) if someone’s need or fault is revealed, or
(4.) if a threat is exposed.

Your Unfailing Promises

Prayer & Declare #17
Father, we need the strength to endure and to obey as we walk with You daily. We need Your Holy Spirit to help us keep our mind on Your unfailing promises.
I declare that the drought which has screamed out my future’s demise, that thing I have wrestled with for so long is about to be over. This too shall pass. I receive Your promise and strength.
“For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God.” (2Cor.1:20, Amp)

Would-a, Should-a, Could-a
Would-a, should-a, could-a… ah, those little nagging possibilities and regrets. They are those things that chase away sleep while the mind races and the heart thumps away at an accelerated rate because you feel dumb and have come to the undeniable conclusion that you would have just been better off if you had never gotten out of bed this morning. Right at that point is when you feel lower than a caterpillar’s belly in a wagon rut. Just a few days ago you felt ten feet tall in the Spirit and now you have to tiptoe to reach the doorknob.
As a mentor told me many years ago, “Forgive yourself and go on.” Go back to believing what your Lord says about you. Go back and stand on those promises–and it probably wouldn’t hurt to do a little speaking in tongues while you are at it. HE Who raised up Abraham and Sarah and made of them a great people; HE Who raised up Israel after captivity will raise you up again! Forget the would-a, should-a, could-a’s. It’s time to remember The Rock.
“Hearken to Me, you who follow after rightness and justice, you who seek and inquire of [and require] the Lord [claiming Him by necessity and by right]: look to the rock from which you were hewn and to the hole in the quarry from which you were dug; (Isa.51:1, Amp)

Dynamics Of A Dream From God
The dynamics of a dream from God or a dream with a God-purpose are:
(1.) It will have a God-agenda that requires a response, i.e., like a realization that requires agreement, or an instruction to follow, or an insight to act upon, or changes or preparation to make. At the very least the dream should be stored until it opens.
(2.) The purpose will not contradict His Word. If you dream you are stealing millions, no matter how possible or exhilarating the experience, it is not permission nor instruction from God to do so.
(3.) The purpose will not contradict God’s character either. Now, this can be a fragile area because people tend to equate God with anything they embrace religiously or hold sacred. Heritage, nature, patriotism, traditions, teachings (right or wrong) and personal beliefs (perfect & imperfect) can all get lumped in what we consider “God.” For example, God said vengeance is His. That means He is the only one who knows all hearts and variables and can rightly judge, but there are entire cultures that conclude God is a vindictive God. So any dream that displays or threatens supernatural violence is from God, as far as they are concerned. Mistaking a religious dream for a God dream is not uncommon.

Dream Functions
The definition of the word prophet in Hebrew details the functions of a prophet. These same functions and characteristics can explain prophetic dreams:1) dreams that involve seeing,
hearing, feeling, knowing under the influence of divine Spirit, 2) dreams that divinely inspire to poetry or song, 3) dreams that empower, instruct, comfort, encourage, rebuke, convict, 4) dreams that reveal hidden things or solve mysteries, 5) dreams that reveal future events, 6) dreams that reveal God’s command to plead the cause of God (intercessory dreams).

Deposits, Downloads and Disclosures
Dreams can be deposits, downloads and disclosures, (revealing or exposing what’s on the inside). King Solomon’s wisdom was a deposit from God in a dream. Joseph got a download about
the future in a dream. In Genesis 20, Abimelech received a warning through a disclosure dream from God. Job 33 tells us He will download instructions in the night. These are just a few historical examples of God using dreams to deposit, download and disclose, and God is still making history with dreams. It is possible He has sent dream insights that we missed because we expected panoramic experiences and they were simply glimpses, a photo moment download.

The Best Way
In this warring climate of history, there are people who are realizing that Holy Spirit has been speaking but you have allowed people and misplaced priorities to distract
you. There are some who were participant in Kingdom action but not now. Action stopped at some blurry, busy time after you got saved or after you received the Baptism with the Holy Spirit or when God got you through “that difficult time” a few years ago. Since then, you have just been coasting along expecting a calendar date and eschatological event to arrive so you can be something you are not now.
The best way to get into action is to allow Holy Spirit to do His active work in us and empower us so that we may participate in His powerful, redemptive work that will bring us into the destiny of the King. I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done—by the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit of God…(Rom.15:18-19)

Cruise-Liners And Battleships
Some “cruise-liners” are going to have to be modified into “battleships” like our nation did in WWII. That is, we are going to have to start voicing and doing and applying resources and effort into those things that “win the battle,” whatever the cost. “Ardent zeal” and “intense exertion”
(Matt.11:12) will not be foreign to those who would “take the Kingdom by force” and speak and act in the King’s authority. Some “plows” are going to have to be “beaten into swords.” Some energy that we are putting into the “good thing” is going to have to be shifted into the “God-thing.” Many will have to transition from slave and victim mentality to son and overcomer and land-owner mentality.

Extreme Exertion
The Kingdom of God in action is the continual moving, shifting and transitioning with the times and places that the King is working in us and working us into. If my forefathers and mothers had not left Germany, Austria, Ireland and England in the 1800’s, I would not be in the relationships I am in now
and, because of events affecting them in that time-period, I may never have been born. You could likely say the same about your forebears. Many of those predecessors acted violently, that is, out of the norm and made great sacrifices so the King could shift and transition them. “And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize–a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].” (Matt 11:12 , Amp) There are people who do not just let things happen to them, they make decisions for the Kingdom purposes of God and act with “intense exertion.” In spite of the angle of descent of morals and values in this nation, we stand on the brink of a destiny that our forefathers never imagined. But it will require shifting, modifications, transitions and “intense exertion” to see it in reality.

Living In The Moment
The Kingdom of God in action is each believer living in the moment. Kingdom action is now… not in a few months or a few years to come. Kingdom action takes
place wherever and whenever sons of God are present. But we must live in the moment, not in past failures or regrets nor in the future where we are convinced we will be something we are not now. In order to “heal those who are sick and tell them the Kingdom has come” (Lk.10:9) we must be committed to the Kingdom action of healing. Be in Kingdom action at all times to show others the action of the Kingdom. Less debate/theological argument and more redemptive action will turn the heads of an, otherwise, rebellious culture. 47 “The chief priests and Pharisees said, What are we to do? For this Man performs many signs (evidences, miracles). 48 If we let Him alone to go on like this, everyone will believe in Him and adhere to Him.” (Jn.11:47-48, Amp)

Active Voice Of God On Earth
The active voice of the Kingdom of God on earth is the ecclesia (Gk. “ekklesia” pronounced ek-klay-seé-ah). We use this particular word for “church” when actually in the Greek it means “called-out ones.” One source has it that ekklesia was the name given to the governmental assembly of the city of Athens, duly called out by proper officers and possessing all political power including the
administration of justice—and that is with reference to actions of a judge. The word was in use before the New Testament was written and, when inspiring the writers of Holy Scripture, was chosen by Holy Spirit who was attempting to show believers what they were to be about when they were assembled. If we go merely by the religious/cultural view today, we would understand the voice of “the church” to be one of continual petition for things that would maintain us in our comfort zones. But if we forsake a modern, western mindset and get into the thinking of first century believers who understood the pure meaning of “ekklesia” in their times, we would realize that the voice of heaven on earth is a governmental one either allowing or disallowing, which would be sufficient to stay the malevolent powers of darkness which are vehemently attempting to thwart the advancement and practice of redemptive, divine government in culture. The called-out, authorized, righteous-character citizens of heaven must continually contradict darkness by verbal affront and command. Put simply, we must lift our voices in declarations of the known will of God and pray imprecatory prayers (e.g., Ps.5, Ps.35, Ps.56, Ps.69, Ps.83) against institutional evil that the Light of God’s Kingdom may break in upon the dark minds of lost humanity, That they may know that You alone, whose name is the LORD, Are the Most High over all the earth.(Ps.83:18)

The Kingdom In Action
The Kingdom of God is not just something we believe and carefully add to our theological belief system but is the authority of God in action—in us and through us. The Kingdom of God is the government of God and the government of God is exercised through the sons of God. The Kingdom of God is the redemptive action of King Jesus here and now in this earth and, if need be, advancing directly against the tide of a subverting and obtuse culture.

A Legacy Of Warriors
A Legacy Of Warriors
David was caught in the crossfire between King Saul and Israel’s destiny, but he had already been trained not to be a victim of a lion, nor a bear, nor a giant and now… a king. He did not stumble into Saul’s grasp, but he fought wisely. He dodged the spear, hid cunningly and acted a lunatic when necessary. Nor did he act like a victim and lash out at the king.
He was surrounded by God’s countermeasures: 400 distressed men and mighty warriors and the king’s own son.
Stephen, caught in the crossfire between tradition and truth, disempowered his enemies, even while being stoned by refusing to play the victim in attitude. He finished his stand for righteousness and prevailed through the countermeasure of forgiveness!
Jesus, caught in the crossfire between the Old Covenant and New Covenant was persecuted by the Pharisees. Yet He never empowered them by seeing Himself as a victim. He declared their limitations openly, saying they could not take His life. He was confident of His unlimited, supernatural backing.
Persecution for righteousness’ sake will never produce a victim legacy, rather, a legacy of warriors who eventually displace systems, principalities, powers and spiritual wickedness. That’s making offensive moves and taking ground. That’s the Kingdom in action.
(This is the last excerpt from an article by Kathy Gabler entitled “Offense: The Kingdom In Action” in which she talks about the advantage of moving from merely a defensive strategy to an offensive strategy.)

Cowering Chunk Of Crispy Fried Chicken?
Cowering Chunk Of Crispy Fried Chicken?
Actually, persecution for righteousness’ sake is evidence that you are a Kingdom agent caught in the crossfire. The real target is a righteous deposit of God’s purpose in history.
Now that’s not to minimize persecution or say that being in the crossfire is fun or easy. It wasn’t easy for Esther when she was caught in such crossfire, but she did not throw up her hands and take on a victim-attitude. Persecution does not equal “victim” or “martyr.” We should not automatically just cower. Esther didn’t, and we can learn from her. The opposite of being a victim is to fight wisely, activate God’s countermeasures and get a God-strategy. Daniel and the three Hebrews were persecuted in the crossfire of King Darius’ corrupt court, but a victim would have been a lion’s lunch or crispy fried chicken in the fiery furnace.

The Point Of Empowerment
Sentiment may tell us that being persecuted is the same as being a victim or even a martyr, but according to this beatitude in Matt.5:10, persecution for righteousness’ sake actually marks the point of empowerment,
where the blessings of the Kingdom (that is, the power of His order and unlimited resources) open to us. This scripture tells us we have the option to see persecution defensively or offensively, as victimization or empowerment. Spending our life pressing toward the mark and taking a righteous ground, will involve persecution in the process, but persecution is not a goal, and God certainly never intended us to develop a victim’s expectation that draws it.
