Hearing Wisdom and Acting

May the Lord graciously help His people to listen when they are supposed to listen, to the people they are supposed to listen to. May they hear clearly and act judiciously and reap the benefit of the principles of Almighty God. “Refuse good advice and watch your plans fail; take good counsel and watch them succeed.” (Prov.15:22, Msg)

Contend, Wage War, Heed

Do you have a word or promise of God that has not come to pass in your life? Then (1) CONTEND—Deut.2:24 “begin to possess… and contend”; “contend”: to excite oneself against a foe,  (2) WAGE WARFARE— 1Tim.1:18 “wage the good warfare”: expedition, campaign, (3) HEED—2Pe.1:19 “…the prophetic word which you do well to heed”:  to attach oneself to; to be given to or addicted to; to devote thought and effort to.  Seems that while we are expecting God to do it all, there is a considerable amount we can be doing.

Yoke-Fellows

As the people of God assemble today may they be so focused on being yoke-fellows with those where God has set them in the Body of Christ that voices from the past and voices of faulty reasoning cannot reach them and call them away from their post.  “And I sent messengers to them, saying, I am doing a great work and cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave to come down to you?” (Neh.6:3, Amp)

God’s Original Warranty

(Melissa Gabler) — God Himself created the original warranty when Jesus took those stripes on His back (Isa. 53:5 & 1 Pe. 2:24). Yeah, that’s right, we have a never ending warranty on us, signed in blood. This warranty includes, “…all things that pertain unto life and godliness” (2 Pt. 1:3).  Whatever you are dealing with is covered in your “warranty”. It’s fixable!  The siege is over because the Lord has already lifted up a standard against it (Is. 59:19).  Our individual lives are about the greater good so go ahead and be healed right now! You are too important to be silenced by sickness, pain, or emotional turmoil.

How do we Resolve Anger?

Kathy Gabler) — How do we CHANGE and resolve anger?  The first step is HONESTY.   WARNING: our religious mindsets can set us up for defeat, if we believe that being angry is a sin.  If that is the case, the accuser of the brethren delights in keeping us on the witness stand, denying that we are angry.   He has an open and shut case against us and sues for damages.  Sometimes the suit lasts a lifetime!  But the Spirit of God lovingly bids us to get off the witness stand and calls us to the Judge’s chambers to admit the anger.  This might scare everyone in the courtroom, but it will not frighten the Judge. For in the honesty and truth of the Judge’s chambers change begins. Anger and grief begin to let go of our emotions.

Stir up the Amen!

Keep the “Amen” alive in you; that “Amen” the Holy Spirit put down deep in you when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Worship, read the Word, listen to the teaching of the Word, share your testimony. Stir up the “Amen” to Who God is and to His Word.  “Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In Him, this is what we preach and pray, THE GREAT AMEN, God’s Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, PUTTING HIS YES WITHIN US. By His Spirit He has stamped us with His eternal pledge—a sure beginning of what He is destined to complete.” (2Cor.1:20-22, Msg)

The Lion, The Bear, The Giant And The King

The Lion, The Bear, The Giant And The King—The LION could not prosper against David because David kept God in the supreme position in his life, in his thoughts, in his consideration.  David had to put his harp down and sing his praises out of breath while running toward the lion to do battle with the lion. The BEAR could not prosper against David because of the supremacy of God in David’s life. The GIANT could not prosper against David even though he came against David with the deadliest of weapons. KING Saul could not prosper against David even though he had supreme authority in the land. God’s supremacy was far greater than Saul and his army. “Yet God is my king from of old, Who works deeds of deliverance in the midst of the earth.” (Ps.74:12, NASB)

To Walk in Destiny

(Kathy Gabler) —Having  a cracked self-image, a shattered self-worth or a failed self-government, does not void our Father’s love or intent, nor His good plans for us!  If we learn to think in our hearts like that, that truth will free us up to walk in destiny and keep us from giving up before we become all God had in mind that we were born to be.  Father, may my life glorify you to the fullest extent.  Let me see me as You see me.  Cause me to value as You value.  Grace me to live honoring Your boundaries for my life.  May I live in the truth and may it be not only my freedom, but also my legacy.

Pharaoh’s Snakes Exposed

Sometimes, in the middle of certain current events, Christians will carry on in such a way as to declare that certain events are evil and will fervently pray that they stop. But there are times when circumstances must come together in such a way that “Pharaoh’s snakes” can be drawn out into the open, so they can be swallowed up (Ex.7:12) in order to set the pattern for what is to come in the deliverance process. If those events do not come about, the “snakes” will stay in their hiding place. “So have no fear of them; for nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, or kept secret that will not become known.” (Matt.10:26, Amp)

People Time and Circumstances

People, time and circumstances seem to be working against destiny for many. BUT ask Joseph, “Did God bring you to purpose? And when He finally did, was He too late?” Ask David, “Did personalities keep you down so that your life did not fulfill God’s purpose?” The deciding factor is this: Is God our goal? That is the only goal God will guarantee. To have God as our goal means that we want to possess Him, to know Him, to walk with Him more than anything. To have God as our goal means that we will know Him and we will know Him by His Word getting into us and walking by that Word. If we know Him we will allow Him to bring us into the likeness of His Son. Some say, “That was then and this is now.” True, BUT God had an unpredictable habit of manifesting Himself miraculously then and…. His habits have not changed NOW!

What is in the Atmosphere

(From Kathy’s message at KC2018) — What is in the atmosphere can influence our minds. Words are in the atmosphere. The prince of the power of the air has not forgotten that words have power. The Word instructs us not to be lulled into numbness by what is in the atmosphere. Rom.12:2 not only says “Don’t be conformed”, it also says, “Be transformed”.

A Healthy Soul

(LARRY BURDEN is speaking this morning at KINGDOM CONGRESS 2018) — I cannot tell you how important it is that we examine the fruit of our lives and be courageous enough to face our areas of bitterness by repenting and releasing forgiveness. This action makes all the difference between a healthy soul, or a lifetime of bitterness, cynicism, jealousy, hatred, and ultimate destruction. We have the opportunity to change our future by addressing these issues in our own lives today.  Jesus did it for me. He will do it for all of us! (KC2018 info: martygabler.com/kc2018/)

Transformed by God’s Government

(SIMON PURVIS speaking Mar.8 at 10:30am) — It is no longer just about us receiving Jesus, getting our sins forgiven and going to heaven.  That is not even the full gospel.  The gospel message is the rule of God coming into planet earth because Jesus Christ has come to set up His throne in our hearts and to rule our lives.  He is not just ruling our conscious self but also the deep down desires of our heart (subconscious) so that He can fulfill every desire He has ever put in us.   I have heard it said that man is three quarters subconscious and one quarter conscious.   From what we have seen in Christianity, we subdue one quarter but have three quarters in rebellion.  We cannot spend our lives trying to make decisions to be holy.  God never intended the conscious to determine our holiness.  The Word of Faith message of being positive in your thinking, positive in your confession and not having ill words or negative thinking has many elements of truth, but it still does not address subduing the subconscious.  Not knowing what is working on the inside of the subconscious is why people of God can be strong Christians and then end up in adultery or running after money.  The three quarters, the subconscious, must bow to His government to be transformed.   — SIMON PURVIS is speaking at KINGDOM CONGRESS 2018.   ALL KC2018 INFORMATION CLICK HERE

Strengthening Hands That Hang Down

As the people of God assemble today, may they notice the hands that are hanging down and the knees that are trembling. May they give an encouraging word, an encouraging touch and at least a bit of understanding.  “Give strength to hands that are tired and to knees that tremble with weakness.  4  Tell everyone who is discouraged, “Be strong and don’t be afraid! God is coming to your rescue, coming to punish your enemies.” (Isa.35:3-4, GNT)

Piecemeal or Bulk

His Kingdom has already been in effect, now is in effect and will be in effect always.  That contradicts that silent someday that would keep the Kingdom of God out of reach during our lifetime, or keep “righteousness and peace and joy” in His presence only a future, someday realization (Rom 14:17).  How messed up is it to think that righteousness, peace and joy are unreachable until you die?  That thinking would make “Thy Kingdom come” a death request.  Could we get any more perversely opposite to the heart of God than that?  Could we deny His New Covenant provision any louder than that?  If we think that His Kingdom (meaning His rule and His order) cannot come into earth now when we pray, is it any wonder that manifestations of His power show up piecemeal rather than bulk, or sporadically rather than continually?  Poor God.  When His stewards on earth think like that, they only accidentally stumble into agreement that opens the earth to God’s will in the now.

Encouragement to Move Forward

As the people of God assemble today, may they report to one another and encourage one another with dreams, visions and prophetic confirmations that inspire each one to move forward in faith and hope to the horizons Almighty God has as He manifests His sons/daughters as salve and solution to the groaning of creation.  (1Thess.5:11, NKJV) ”Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.”

Standing on the Promises

As the people of God assemble today, may they, as one, reach forward into the year with expectancy, with commitment and with their faith firmly planted in Christ Jesus and His unfailing Word. May they stand on His promises and proclaim them to one another and for one another.  “Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God.” (Rom.4:20,WEB)

God Was Kinda Wondering

Of all the things God could possibly wonder about, the Bible tells us He was wondering where His interceding people were. Is 59:16—And He saw that there was no man and wondered…(“wondered” 8074  shamem- to be desolate, to be appalled, to stun, to stupefy; to be deflowered, to be deserted, to be appalled, causing horror (Brown-Driver-Briggs). Could it actually be that this God who loved Israel so much felt “deserted” or that the Arbiter of the universe was actually “stunned” or maybe even “stupefied” that people who knew His precepts and had heard His voice so clearly through His prophets could possibly leave His beloved Israel uncovered from lack of prayer? While we have a great host of people who want to speak for God and prophesy (some eagerly volunteering to prophesy judgment and doom), where are those falling on their face and interceding? 1Tim 2:1 “I exhort therefore, that, FIRST OF ALL, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;” (KJV).

Apply the Extraordinary

As the people of God assemble today, may their hearts and minds be alive with possibilities of receiving and applying extraordinary enablements and supply from the throne of heaven to transform their environs. May they not be tempted to yield to the poverty of human experience but be enriched by the all-sufficiency of their Savior, Christ Jesus.  (1Sam.17:47, Msg) ”The whole earth will know that there’s an extraordinary God in Israel. And everyone gathered here will learn that God doesn’t save by means of sword or spear. The battle belongs to God…”

Extraordinary Savior = Extraordinary Results

It would behoove the disciples of Christ to be aware that they have an extraordinary Savior. When Peter was in prison, there was no popular teaching making the rounds at conferences that you could call on a special squad of jail-breaking angels to get you out. Something happened that Peter had not even taught on! We are in an era of history when nothing less than the extraordinary of heaven is required in the earth.  (Eph.3:10, Msg) ”Through followers of Jesus like yourselves gathered in churches, this extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels!”

Word of God is Alive and Active

The Word of God is alive and active and cannot stop being alive and active. May the redemptive, productive Word you heard days ago or even years ago be alive and active in you today, producing fruit unto righteousness, life to the glory of our Lord’s name.  ”God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.” (Heb.4:12-13, Msg)

Release From Anger

As the people of God assemble today, may they encourage each other and help each other to turn away from anger (even if it is the result of injustice), so that they may be released from that which eats at them and leaves them miserable. (Ps.37:8, Amp) “Cease from anger and abandon wrath; Do not fret; it leads only to evil.”

Stir Up The Amen

Keep the “Amen” alive in you; that “Amen” the Holy Spirit put down deep in you when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Worship, read the Word, listen to the teaching of the Word, share your testimony. Stir up the “Amen” to Who God is and to His Word.  “Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. A Guard on my Lips

Let us be careful what we say. The Lord doesn’t want what we speak falling to the ground (1Sam.3:19)

“Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.” (Ps.141:3, Amp)________________________________________________________________________________________
