Pushing Beyond the Acceptable

Man Call Out Yell.jpgWhen heaven invaded Jericho Road, the man was called “Blind” Bartimaeus. Bartimaeus was told to be quiet by those who held to conventional norms but he cried out directly to Jesus so that his life might be invaded by heaven (Mk.10:47). He pushed beyond what was normally acceptable and defied religious limitations and barriers. What are people calling you? How much longer will you accept that? Well… heaven is invading your road by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Acts10:38)

Break Through Barriers

As the people of God assemble today, may they find the Lord Most High breaking BolderBlockRoadthrough every barrier to their hearts and minds and even dividing asunder of soul and spirit. May the Lord break through every barrier of disappointment, every barrier thrown up to protect ourselves after we were hurt, every barrier of resolve where we have decided not to be vulnerable to others again. (Lk.1:78, Msg)  “Through the heartfelt mercies of our God, God’s Sunrise will break in upon us,  79  Shining on those in the darkness, those sitting in the shadow of death, Then showing us the way, one foot at a time, down the path of peace.”

The Lord Walks Through Barriers

As the people of God assemble today, may the Lord walk through walls of opposition, walls of impossibility, walls individuals have built between themselves and other members of the body of Christ. May He miraculously walk through every barrier into our midst today so that He might release in us and through us His peace, gifts and redemptive power. “That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.” (Jn.20:19, NLT)
