Feed the Nations

FoodDonations“They” could not tell the late Lester Sumrall that his small ministry could not feed nations. He was not the head of a large denomination but of a small ministry compared to the size of a denomination. He prayed and God gave him a C-130 transport plane capable of flying anywhere in the world in a matter of hours while carrying multiplied tons of food to starving people who must have immediate relief. He prayed and God gave him a large cargo ship several football fields in length. Kellogg Co. gave him one million dollars worth of food at a time. Most of us would never even think to ask God for a cargo plane or a cargo boat. If we don’t know God’s Word, how do we know our God? If we don’t know our God, how do we know the possibilities and how do we know what to ask for?

Strength to Strength

Hiking
May the Lord God take you beyond weariness as He carries you from strength to strength, faith to faith, and glory to glory.

”They go from STRENGTH TO STRENGTH, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.” (Ps.84:7, KJV)
”For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from FAITH TO FAITH: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” (Rom.1:17, KJV)
”But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from GLORY TO GLORY, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2Cor.3:18, KJV)

The Breaker of Bread

Breadbreaker
There is a spirit at work in this world and it is the spirit which relentlessly speaks into any ear that will listen and says, “That was then and this is now”.  “They” have come too late to tell Philip “that was then and this is now”.  He has already seen with his own eyes the hands of Jesus multiplying two little fish and five little loaves into a meal which fed 5,000. “They” have come too late to tell sons of God that “there isn’t enough” and “there won’t be enough” because those sons of God know the Breaker of Bread.

Value of a Biblical Worldview

Bibleworld
May the Lord God enable us by His powerful Holy Spirit to
communicate the life and value of living with a biblical worldview.

”14 However, continue in what you have learned and found to be true.
You know who your teachers were. 15 From infancy you have known the
Holy Scriptures. They have the power to give you wisdom so that you can
be saved through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 Every Scripture passage is
inspired by God. All of them are useful for teaching, pointing out errors,
correcting people, and training them for a life that has God’s approval.
17 They equip God’s servants so that they are completely prepared to do good things.”
(2Tim.3:14-17, GW)

God Will Come Through

Mountainplain
Scorners have come too late to tell Zerubbabel the temple won’t be finished. God has put the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand and has proclaimed: Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty. What are you, O mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground (Zech 4:6-7, NIV). “They” have come too late to tell men and women, who have trusted in the Lord God who calls and equips, that He will not come through for them.

Help to Draw the Net

Fishandnet
As the people of God assemble today, may they be infused with Holy Spirit power to be fruitful all the days ahead.  May vision and empowerment come to each one.  I pray that the fruit our Lord gives you and your church this year will be like the net the disciples had to call for help to draw in.  May there be such a bounty that the net would be near bursting with the catch. May your net be strong and hold.

“So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net to land, full of large fish, 153 of them; and[though] there were so many of them, the net was not torn.” (Jn.21:11, Amp)

As You Go

Walkonsidewalk“AS YOU GO” about your Father’s business today, this week and this year, what you accomplish will far exceed your abilities and learned knowledge. You will have delightful discoveries that your Father’s hand is working beyond your immediate awareness. You will be involved in His workings without having to launch yourself for a particular mission. He will use you and you will accomplish matters for His Kingdom “AS YOU GO”. You will accomplish more “accidentally” than the enemy will accomplish on purpose.

Matt 10:7  “And AS YOU GO, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

Don’t get Down off the Wall

Gettingoffwall
“They” have come too late to tell Nehemiah the walls of Jerusalem cannot be rebuilt because there is too much opposition. “They” have come too late to tell him people won’t get back up on the wall with their families and live like there is a cause to fight for. “They” have come too late to tell Nehemiah that opposition and the delay of time mean he doesn’t have a God-given purpose that will be fulfilled. Let us (and our families) benefit by taking the uncompromising stand that Nehemiah took.  ”So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?” (Neh.6:3, NKJV)

God Frustrates the Devices of the Crafty

Frustratedscratchhead
May the people of God be of one mind and one accord as they
look to their Great God who fights for them, and may they call
upon His Name in stedfast faith that He will act in His righteous
wisdom to bring to naught the devices of those who have laid out wicked designs.

”He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot
perform their enterprise or anything of [lasting] worth.” (Job 5:12, Amp)

Taking Your Mountain

Climbingmountain
“They” likely told old Caleb, “There is only one way for you to take that mountain: hire a strong group of highly trained young mercenaries who have all the latest firepower.” Those poor Anakites believed the wrong report. Old Caleb drove them out. The doubters who didn’t know the Word of God to Caleb have come too late to tell Caleb there is only one way to defeat giants and take your divinely promised mountain.
