Prayers Important for the Nation

As the people of God assemble today, may the Lord encourage them for the future of our nation and their vital part in assuring that future. May they be encouraged that their prayers and partnership are significant in His workings in America. May they receive His assurance that they shall not be moved out of purpose nor off the foundation of God Almighty. “God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:  God shall help her, and that right early.” (Ps.46:5)  “He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved.” (Ps.62:6)

Disclosure Dreams

The bottom line is that disclosure dreams reveal issues in our lives and if you ignore the dream, you ignore the issue.  Then you coexist with it instead of conquering it.  One of the most obvious types of disclosure dreams is recurring dreams or dreams with a recurring theme (i.e., similar settings, action, emotions, outcomes or atmospheres). These types of dreams can be from God or our own springs, but they are revealing something that we need to be aware of, address and/or resolve.  A recurring dream can be an ongoing  process so that every time you dream it, you are moving toward resolve.  A recurring dream can become a personal indicator like our teapot telling us when we’re about to blow or when we are battling an old, familiar war.  A recurring dream can be an ongoing process bringing clarity to a future mandate, obedience or strategy.  A recurring dream can reveal a memory that needs closure. A recurring dream can signal an unconscious battle or fear.  Or recurring dreams can reveal a destructive pattern or cycle that needs to be broken.  I’ve talked to a number of dreamers  that discovered two or more generations had the same troubling, recurring dreams because the root was not resolved in the first generation.  We can pursue an understanding of recurring dreams and take issues to God for deliverance, resolve or healing and stop tormenting dreams, perhaps for generations!  (Kathy Gabler)

MARTY GABLER brings us this series of devotions called Beside Still Waters.
This one is titled: “Don’t give up, don’t be impatient” Psalm 27:14, TPT –
“Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord.”

God’s Order = God’s Effectiveness

When Israel broke camp in the wilderness, it was God’s command that Judah go out first (Num 2:9). The first prince to offer sacrifice for the dedication of the altar (Num 7:12) was the prince of the tribe of Judah. When the nation of Israel went out to war, God chose Judah to go out first (Num 10:14; Jud 20:18). It wasn’t because Judah was something special on a stick; it wasn’t some kind of archaic hierarchy which no one understood but bowed to it just the same. That was God’s effectiveness. God’s order will result in the enemy being defeated. Many times the enemy will see the ark, the dancers, tambourines and worshipers and simply run without putting up a fight because of God’s effective order. The many agendas of the democratically inclined and the special interests groups will not win the battle. They will bog the army down in the quagmire of men’s agendas.

When There is no Model

It is not easy to be redefined or repositioned when there is no model for it.  Without a model, there is no guarantee that the upheaval in our lives is worth it!  We are much more secure when we have a contemporary model to go by, but when God is building a model, it might start with you!  You might be the one building a boat before anyone even grasps the concept of rain or flooding.  You might be the one climbing out of the boat and walking on water.  That means you are the one who must be willing to make mistakes or face the criticism and ridicule that reformation requires.  (Ninth excerpt from Kathy’s article “Fresh Obedience”)

Praising Before Seeing Evidence

Knowing God’s Word and knowing that He is watching over it to fulfill it, and that it will not be allowed to return to Him without being fulfilled, a prophetic people cannot help but praise and sing praises and dance victoriously before their Captain. A prophetic church knows the outcome and cannot help but begin praising God even before seeing the physical evidence. A prophetic church is lively, active (movement), noisy, musical, has banners to display the greatness of God and the people’s exuberance for Him in art and dance.

Changes Shaking Our World

I suspect fresh obedience and the radical changes it brings may shake our personal world more than we imagined. The new models emerging in the Body of Christ will involve a redefining of roles and repositioning of men among men.  Even though the results will bring us to more excellence in our calling as individuals, it is not easy to be redefined or repositioned. (Eighth excerpt from Kathy’s article “Fresh Obedience”)

As You Go

“AS YOU GO” about your Father’s business today, this week and the remainder of this year, what you accomplish will far exceed your abilities and learned knowledge. You will have delightful discoveries that your Father’s hand is working beyond your immediate awareness. You will be involved in His workings without having to launch yourself for a particular mission. He will use you and you will accomplish matters for His Kingdom “AS YOU GO”. You will accomplish more “accidentally” than the enemy will accomplish on purpose. Matt 10:7  “And AS YOU GO, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

Compact Together

As the people of God assemble today, may His powerful Holy Spirit compact us, that is, cause us to coalesce, being formed into one mass or community operating in harmony. May the ligaments in His Church hold us together solidly. And may we so be built up in love that our harmony may never be found by Him to be disconsonant.

“For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.” (Eph.4:16, Amp)

Exhibit Fruit of the Spirit

This is the day the Lord has made so…    I will rejoice and be glad and exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in it.  “22  –  But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,   23 — Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].” (Gal.5:22-23, Amp)
