The Path to Promise

Kathy — When we perceive God’s plans or promise, we usually get excited with the promised outcome and give no thought to the path that will take us there. We usually focus on the outcome, expecting it to be quick and miraculous, and give no PathwaySunTreesthought to the journey. It is easy to see why we get discouraged on the road to promise since we rarely foresee up front how long or how challenging that path will be.  Prov.4:11-12, TPT — “I have taken you by the hand in wisdom’s ways, pointing you to the path of integrity.  12  Your progress will have no limits when you come along with me, and you will never stumble as you walk along the way.”

Do You See What’s Happening?

Melissa — Do you see what’s happening? The current bombardment we are experiencing is an undeniable wake-up call. We are being harassed with fears of everything from never being able to leave the house because of sickness, to kids never going to school again, to riots, to being fined for absurd restrictions, to being arrested for protecting ourselves. These are fear tactics that are trying to back us into a corner God never intended us to occupy. These fear tactics are driven by darkness and darkness uses fear as a means of control.   We have been under the influence of darkness for years, probably centuries, and it has caused a sleep to fall over God’s people. The enemy is trying to keep us asleep so we will not take our rightful place of dominion over his evil agenda. We have to choose to either fear God and wake up or fear everything else and stay in a coma, and making the right choice will involve fighting and enduring. Since this coma-causing darkness has been around way longer than any of us have been alive, it’s not giving up easily. The battle for awakening is intense and nowhere near over. You might as well batten down your hatches for at least the rest of the year, but you can be sure it will be worth it.

Hope in Redemption by Jesus

Family of five from behind looking at cross

As the people of God assemble today may they take hope in their redemption through the shed blood of Jesus at Calvary. May they know they are sons/daughters of most high God and rest in His present love and care and plans for their future. Eph.1:5-8, TPT—“For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace. This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us…”

God’s Foreign Policies

DR. DON CRUM — The government of the Kingdom of God increases as God’s sons and daughters who are His ambassadors in the earthly realm, understand and operate more in the implementation of God’s “Foreign Policies” in the YeastInDoughearth. Therefore, His rule and reign extend and expand throughout the nations, pulling them into alignment. Matt 13:33 Jesus also used this illustration: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.” God’s Kingdom Government is permeating throughout the nations through you and me as His Kingdom Ambassadors. As God’s sons and daughters in the earth, we are entrusted with an amazing inheritance of kingly authority to legislate the affairs of nations by invoking God’s plans and policies on a massive global scale. We are rapidly moving out of the Congregational and into the Congressional in this hour. Understanding our delegated authority in Christ’s imperative. (DR. How do I Deal With the Troubles?

Kathy Gabler — I awoke in a funk.  When my eyes opened, the weight of unresolved situations and unanswered prayers was already smothering my hope for the day.  I sat up and said, “Father, I’m not going to whine and list the stuff that is OppositionManHeadOnComputersqueezing my heart.  Neither will I foolishly demand that You do something quick or I quit, but I do honestly want to ask:  How should I think? How do I deal with the troubles in my face this morning, long-standing issues that have not the slightest evidence of even being on Your radar?  I see no hint of things in motion or even the slightest chance of change.  What do I do?”  He answered immediately, “Stay still and stay thankful.”  His answer was both sudden and surprising, but the instructions were clear.  I embarked on a journey that morning, one of those unmapped trips that bring you to intersections you did not anticipate.  I was about to discover that some foundational concepts in my Christian world, like peace and trust and faith, connected in ways that I had never realized.   (Kathy will be speaking at Kingdom Congress 2021. Awakening to the Fear of the Lord

Melissa — I believe the awakening we have heard about for a decade, and are currently experiencing, is an awakening to AlarmWakeUpthe fear of the Lord. We are indeed headed into not only understanding but living in the fear of the Lord. I grew up hearing that the fear of the Lord is awe, reverence and respect for God, and it is, but there is still more. Here’s how the Holy Spirit presented it to me a month ago, “Either you are bowing your knee in awe and reverence to Me or you are bowing your knee in tolerance and submission to everything else.”  (Melissa will be leading worship and speaking at Kingdom Congress which is Mar.3-5,2021. God’s Causes

ManHandOverEyesWhen Joshua saw the man with the sword in his hand he asked, “Are you for us or for our adversaries?” (Josh. 5:13) The man said, “No.” Joshua met someone who was not evil that was not on his side. He had to stop and think. We are so concerned about our causes, our comfort and our interests that we seldom stop to find out what God’s causes and interests are in a region or in a season. Many are asking, “What is going on?” I think God is asking, “Who is on MY side?” “Who truly has my interests at heart?” What is going on? What is going on is that what can be shaken is being shaken until all that is left standing is an unshakeable Kingdom (Heb.12:27). Occupy till . . . sounds like: don’t stop doing anything I have ordained you to do with any less faith, dedication, or enthusiasm. Heb. 3:14  “If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we’re in this with Christ for the long haul.” (The Message)  Marty is speaking at Kingdom Congress which is Mar.3-5,2021. Gaps in Character

Kathy — Is it lack of training that leaves gaps in our character? Is it lack of healthy examples that weakens our character? Or does character corrupt in the breach between knowing the truth and living according to the truth we know? I think the gap in an old crumbling wooden fencelatter is the heart of the matter. It moves the emphasis from lack and circumstance to diligence. We do not have to be perfect, but diligence is a requirement. The hand of the diligent will rule, Prov 12:24. (NKJ) In business or ministry or government or family or the local garden club, we do not suffer a downfall because of other people. Neither do circumstances cause us to fall. Opposition does not cause us to fall. We build our own path to downfall. Bad choices, emotional decisions, wrong priorities and self-focused agendas can cause us to fail, but a downfall comes from a breach of character.

The Salvation of a Nation or….

As long as there are a people who feel they have their “ticket stamped” to go to a “much better place,” there will be no reform of what they deem to be merely an exit platform (cf.Jn.20:21;Lk.9:2;Jn.16:7). If the departure platform is somewhat rickety, people will just try to stand still and hope the train out of there arrives soon. With such a view, no one CrowdFormCrossreforms or rebuilds the platform; they simply grip what is available to grip and hope to be off of it as soon as possible. The emphasis today upon the sudden coming of the Lord isn’t about Him, it is about us. The religious pundits pounding their pulpits exclaiming the quick return of our Lord are getting hearty (and well financed) “Amens!” in response to their promises of sudden escape from disappointments, rudely jostled comfort zones and nerve-racking prognostication. We have been taught by pop-theology to use faith for immediate relief, not long-term endurance, not long-term results (Heb.11:13 does not figure into Esau’s demands for immediate relief).  The Esau mindset of blowing off the coming generations and spending what you’ve got on relief for the present generation flies well in today’s skies. Joseph did not get immediate results (or relief) after his prophetic dream and prophetic pronouncement. He and Daniel and Esther were sent ahead to “preserve a posterity,” “continue a remnant” and “save lives.” (Gen.45:7 Amplified) Joseph stood and stood and took ground “until the Word of the Lord proved him” and he was not proven to guarantee him plenty of airtime and notoriety but for the survival of a nation (Ps.105:18). He was not dealt the luxurious right of faith for immediate relief or escape. But the result was the salvation of a nation and its being propelled into the future of its destiny for Jehovah’s purposes and Name’s sake.
