Covenant-Backing of Almighty God

Kathy — Your salvation means you have the covenant-backing of Almighty God to help you overcome anything MakeCovenantOTthat opposes what you’re born to do, even in your health, relationships, finance or circumstances. Your salvation assures you of overcoming power. This salvation will even save you from yourself. It is the power of God to overcome opposition within your own heart, beliefs, mind, memories, character and emotions. 1Jn.4:4,TPT—“Little children, you can be certain that you belong to God and have conquered them, for the One who is living in you is far greater than the one who is in the world.”

Ways to Hear From God

Melissa — The following list is not only how the prophetic lifestyle is lived out, it is also ways in which He trains us for a prophetic lifestyle. This is not a comprehensive list. There are so many ways to hear from the Alpha and Omega. We don’t all have the same exact experiences because we each have a personal relationship with God. The way you hear has to do with this most important relationship of your life! But, as you’ll see, there are similarities in ways we all hear. 1.) Coincidences: the occurrence of events that happen at EarHandManListenHearthe same time by accident but seem to have some connection. (Webster’s Dictionary) Coincidences can easily be put in the I don’t want to be weird category, so they can easily be ignored. Pay attention! Remember, God is working on many levels, so why would we not experience coincidences? 2.) DeJa-Vu: a feeling that one has seen or heard something before. (Webster’s Dictionary) Nope, not spooky at all, rather a fantastic training experience! If you have one simply ask what you need to see. If you don’t get an answer, perhaps you were being trained to pay attention. 3.) Dreams: of course God speaks to us in dreams. Our conscious mind is out of the way. 4.) Visions: are like a movie in your head or right before your eyes. 5.) Double-take: is that thing which makes you look again because you thought you saw something and it ends up not being there. 6.) Feelings: are about a knowing in your gut, excitement out of nowhere, uneasiness out of nowhere. 7.) Urges: to pray, do something, call someone, go somewhere. 8.) Hearing: still small voice or loud and clear. 9.) Thoughts: came out of nowhere. You weren’t even thinking about that subject and the thought won’t go away. It just sits in your mind. 10.) The place between awake and asleep: the mind is not in the way here. From my experience these moments have been very clear. 11.) In conversation: something strikes a chord, confirms something you heard, or an idea comes “out of nowhere”. An inspirational conversation, if you will.

The Unconventional and the Whirlwind

Before Moses was born Israel began to cry out, “Save us from Pharaoh!” Then 80 years later there was a suddenly: “Bam!” Snakes, staffs and bull frogs are flying in every direction. Before Jesus was born Israel cries, “Save us from Rome!” Then after 60 yrs. of Roman domination: suddenly, “Boom! Bam!” Wind, fire, speaking in tongues and spiritual drunkenness hit them. Then, following that, all manner of mind-blowing DarkCloudWhirlwindmiracles, signs and wonders began to take place wherever the followers of Christ showed up. God’s people are once again crying, “Save us, O mighty God!” So… Get ready for something unusual, something that is unconventional! Are you ready for the unconventional? (Isa.55:8-9) We must have Something which is totally unconventional in comparison to what is already not working here. It will require to be absolutely radical in its makeup and its effect. But it is not being handed to us on a platter labeled “As Usual”, “The Good Ol’ Days”, “Return to 1950’s Revival” It is headed our way in a series of Whirlwinds called “Unconventional”! The items and agendas which make up “conventional” and “typical” are going to be flying in every direction just like Aaron’s staff and Egypt’s snakes and bull frogs. Nahum 1:3— “…the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind”

Name in The Book of Life

LifeBookOfKathy — Our names are written in the Book of Life. It’s not just a list of names. Our names are written in several chapters of God’s plans. Maybe your part is to raise a daughter who will be a godly influence in a school system or to build a moral stronghold in the business community or to encourage righteous politics in ten families by 2024. You might be an encourager that God will use in a 1000 different settings. Rev.3:5,TPT — “And the one who experiences victory will be dressed in white robes and I will never, no never erase your name from the Book of Life. I will acknowledge your name before my Father and his angels.”

Dwelling on Just the Facts

FactsJustAs the people of God assemble today may they be assured that the present facts they are dealing with in their lives, their family and the nation do not get to dictate the future. The present facts are not the end of the story. Jer.29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

How do I Know if it’s God?

Melissa — How do you know if what you are hearing is God? Well, does it line up with His word? For instance, murder and adultery… not God! Also, He trains you to hear Him. “The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath GodWalkWithmade even both of them.” (Proverbs 2:12) Sometimes we train ourselves to ignore the prophetic lifestyle because we don’t want to be weird. This really is an epic life we are meant to live — not fairytale or fantasy, but epic. Why epic? Unlike fairytale or fantasy that denote magic, rainbows and butterflies, and other-worldly superhumans, “epic” denotes work, grit, fight, humans living their destiny and winning. So, don’t ignore His training. Don’t ignore that relationship.

God of an Ever-Expanding Glory

“Sanctify” means “separate yourself.” Get rid of the things that are extra, added weight. Get rid of the things that are not the image of Christ. Let go of attitudes that don’t fit Kingdom thinking. Elders, deacons, bishops SpaceLightExpandand presbyters won’t be able to help you on this one because none of us have been this way before. (Cf. Josh 10:14 and there was no day like that before it or after it.) I heard a conference speaker say, “The Lord of life leaves enough mystery to be intrusive, disruptive and surprising in order that He might shatter our tendencies to predictability; and yes even boredom. Saints die of many things but to die of boredom is an insult to the God of an ever-expanding glory.” Though some of us desperately long for the routine of our lives to be radically changed we are disturbed and consequently resistant when confronted with the acts of God’s power which are required to change them. In order for God Almighty to radically change the present state of our lives, for Him to bring reformation to our nation we must allow Him to forcefully break in upon us. Nahum 1:3— “…the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind” (Nahum 1:3). That means that we will not escape the Whirlwind.

Healthy Legacy

Kathy — The best way to teach our children is by example. As we daily learn to think like God thinks, that becomes our legacy and influence. A healthy legacy makes it essential to get the basics right. The starting Happyfamilyplace is how we think about our salvation. Many generations have been taught that salvation is just an escape from hell, but they need to think differently. Salvation is empowerment for life!  Rom.1:16-17,TPT— “I refuse to be ashamed of the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first, and then people everywhere! 17 This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”
