Choose Poison or Fruit

For years, the leaders of this nation and special interest groups have been filling its atmosphere with criticism and caustic vitriol. There is an inescapable principle in the Bible. It isn’t God just getting mad at a few well-deserving individuals, it is a God-given law of the universe which tells us that no voiced vitriol is neutral.”Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.” (Prov.18:21, Msg)

Darkness Has an Expiration Date

MELISSA — Darkness has an expiration date and its number has been called.  The Hosts of Heaven are currently attending to that matter.  “For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction.” (Gal.6:8) There it is in rather simple language.  This corrupt spirit has been defying, challenging and ridiculing the original intent of God and its time is up.  God’s intent is the only thing that carries life and blessing.  Anything outside of that is an enemy of God and will surely self destruct …with some help from Angel Armies.

Advantages Without Limits

KATHY— My brother has an infant grandson who lives with him. He is always speaking words of life to him and quoting Scripture over him. I enjoy my brother texting me pictures of my little nephew day by day. He sent me a picture of the baby wearing his bib. There was just one big word that completely covered the bib: LOVED.  Those kinds of words build the atmosphere around him very literally. May our little children always be in an atmosphere that declares their worth because that will affect their life. My little nephew so obviously has the mark of God on his life and future. May everything and everyone around him lineup with God’s good plans for him. I bless him and his family today as the angels of the Free Child Hold HandLord keep each of them in place and purpose that will bring fulfillment instead of frustration in life. Jesus said, “A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect — life in its fullness until you overflow!” (Jn.10:10,TPT). Abundantly means “advantages without limits”. By our God’s grace and enablement, let’s set up our little ones to have our Lord’s advantages without limits.

Heaven Waits

A while back I heard a man singing “Heaven waits for me. I am looking forward to going there” and it was difficult to understand his next lyrics because of all the shouting and jumping around. I don’t ever recall reading a scripture in the Bible that actually says “heaven” is waiting for us, wanting us to come there. BUT I do remember reading a scripture that says CREATION is waiting for us. Creation is not waiting for sons/daughters to be removed from present chaos but the Bible actually says that creation is groaning (Rom.8) for sons/daughters, with the likeness of their redeeming Lord (Jn.20:21), to be revealed in the earth through redemptive action and redemptive words of life (Acts1:8). Where I have been lately across the U.S. and outside this nation, that groan is getting louder and louder, more desperate and more pleading—some even pled with me to let them video me with their phone while I prophesied and prayed so that they might take them and play them for others in desperation. They did not ask me to tell them about heaven. They asked me how God’s power might help them and their families and their nation in the present chaos.
What heaven IS waiting for is sons/daughters of God through whom it may come into the earth. Perhaps it would be more Biblically accurate to say that what heaven is waiting for is for sons/daughters of God Almighty to receive Holy Spirit in such a way that they receive outpouring from heaven and reveal the Christ of glory in this present earth. Would that when this subject was sung or preached that the shouting of those being revealed in the earth would be so great that the singer/preacher would have to pause before going on.
The Holy Spirit brings what exists in the realm of heaven into history. Jesus was in heaven but He was brought into history by Holy Spirit. When Mary asked, “How shall this be?” Gabriel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you” (Lk 1:35). Paul says that Holy Spirit has a groan He wants to groan through us and that it will answer the groan in creation: “And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for {us} with groanings too deep for words; (Rom 8:26, NAS)
The groaning of creation for the sons of God to be revealed (v.19) is met with the power of Holy Spirit in bringing the realm of heaven into history. The answer to the groan of the creature (v.20-21) is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; 2:4) brings the power that is beyond what we can produce or accomplish in ourselves (Acts1:8,TPT “…and you will be seized with power.”) The fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal.5:22-25) manifests in this earth the conduct and relationships of heaven. We must get the relationships of heaven into the earth. The gifts of the Spirit (1Co.12:7-11) manifest in this age the power of heaven over our limitations — over what we do not know and cannot do. We must get the power and benefits of heaven into this earth, “Salvation does not mean flight and escape from the lower material world to a higher spiritual world; it means the redemption of the realm of human history by the invasion of the spiritual realm of God, so that the historical realm is lifted to a new and higher level of existence (G.E. Ladd, Theology of the New Testament, p.489).”

God is Not Mocked

MELISSA—“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap.  For the one who sows to his flesh [his sinful capacity, his worldliness, his disgraceful impulses] will reap from the flesh ruin and destruction, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:7-8 Amplified). As my hair stood on end, I realized this is the chaotic shriek we are hearing on a daily basis throughout this nation.  The wicked ARE receiving their harvest because they have mocked the Great I AM.  The humanistic spirit of this age thought it killed God.  Oops!

Carrying a God-Purpose

Kathy Gabler—Everyone breathing is carrying a God-purpose. We are living in this time to be sons and daughters of God making history in the earth. Not one of us is insignificant or without a holy calling. Whether we realize it or not, our purpose is a piece of the bigger purpose that God is stewarding. You may be a school bus driver that God positioned in a sphere of protection over three children that the enemy’s trying to take out before they become a principal and mayor and police chief that they were born to be. Perhaps you are raising a child that will affect the medical world in twenty years. Maybe you are living in a particular county so that your taxes can help change it for a God-plan. Perhaps part of your purpose is being God’s expression of mercy in an office or for you to be the medicine of healing because you can make others laugh. Or maybe He placed your skills and personality as a connector to get people to solutions in a community. Most of the time we are not aware of how God is using the details of our daily lives as a part of His bigger intention, but God watches over you and who you were born to be. He also intends that you outlive anything that contradicts any facet of your multi-faceted purpose and fulfillment.

To Stand Up Again

As the people of God assemble on Resurrection Sunday may their minds be on the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. Martha spoke of resurrection in terms of an end-time doctrine. JESUS spoke of resurrection in terms of that which is a present fact applicable to present circumstances. JESUS was challenging Martha to see it and experience it BEFORE the Last Day.  If JESUS cannot raise us from the death of failure (“death”: termination or extinction of something; cessation of all vital functions), from the death “of ceasing of function”, from the death of “not functioning because of fault or breakdown”, how can He raise us from the dust at the Last Day?
Here at Bethany, where JESUS is speaking to Martha, He is only two miles from Jerusalem where He healed one who had been diseased for 38 years; He healed one who had been blind since birth; now He raised one who had been dead for four days. Surely He can raise you up today. I like this definition of resurrection: “to stand up again.” Rejoice, it’s Resurrection Day! You can stand up again because Resurrection is a Person! (v.25)  23—“Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”  24  Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”  25  Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.” (Jn.11:23-25, NKJV)

Jesus Conquered Through Total Opposition

“He did not conquer in spite of the dark mystery of evil, He conquered through it.”  (Quote found in my notes)
”… I died, but see, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of [absolute control and victory over] death and of Hades (the realm of the dead).(Rev.1:18, Amp)
