Common Cocoons and Customized Cocoons
KATHY — Some cocoons (a type of being entrapped, tough times in life) are common for many people, but we also have our customized cocoons, those tough times that are unique to us. These come from matters that need resolve in our soul, like you may be having to work on a relationship that was damaged by jealousy or fear or anger. Or you may be having to deal with problems you inherited, ongoing battles from choices made four generations ago. Perhaps your forerunners didn’t choose life and blessings and it caused them to end up with a view of marriage that’s bound to fail. So the next generation has to work through the trickle-down issues of divorce. Or a generation made wrong career choices and bankrupted the whole family causing poverty conditions and limitations for decades. Or a generation chose death and curses, deciding to be lawless, and the ripple effect undermined character to the point that a family or community or culture is cocooned in corruption. Can our struggles really be related to our purpose and our future when we can’t see any connection to either? We need to CHOOSE LIFE and bring CHANGE in our lifetime, and even expect change to ripple back to the previous generation.

May Your Expectancy Increase
As the people of God assemble today may their expectancy increase as they trust Almighty God to act more and more openly and publicly in their families and in this nation. May they pray bigger and ask bigger of this awesome God and may they fear Him and trust Him and follow after His Word and precepts. Ps.50:15,TPT—“Honor me by trusting in me in your day of trouble. Cry aloud to me, and I will be there to rescue you.”

Awakening and Reformation
Melissa — We are in the midst of a seriously sobering season. We are in the thick of the increase of His perpetually increasing government (Isaiah 9:7). Awakening won’t be limited to the American church’s view of what it should look like to be most effective. Awakening is going to seep through the cracks in the foundation of the American church and reform it. Awakening brings reformation. We better be ready for awakening to bring some shock and awe too! It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, (Eph. 5:12-13 NLT) This awakening is going deep. It’s going to shed light on things that have been going on under our noses but we haven’t seen it because we have been asleep. It will be shocking, but that is why reformation comes with it. Resolve Anger
KATHY–How do we CHANGE and resolve anger? The first step is HONESTY. WARNING: our religious mindsets can set us up for defeat, if we believe that being angry is a sin. If that is the case, the accuser of the brethren delights in keeping us on the witness stand, denying that we are angry. He has an open and shut case against us and sues for damages. Sometimes the suit lasts a lifetime! But the Spirit of God lovingly bids us to get off the witness stand and calls us to the Judge’s chambers to admit the anger. This might scare everyone in the courtroom, but it will not frighten the Judge. For in the honesty and truth of the Judge’s chambers change begins. Anger and grief begin to let go of our emotions!

The Extraordinary of Heaven in This Present World
We are in an era of history when nothing less than the extraordinary of Heaven is required in this present world. We cannot and will not look for those things offered by mere religious sentiment that serve as nothing more than band-aids covering the unresolved issues and fruitless forms and programs of western religion. We must lift up our heads from where we are and look to where there is transforming power and radical answers that change individuals and grip them with an insatiable vision for the Kingdom of Heaven in the earth. We must reach up and get hold of God’s extraordinary which is more than a span of revival meetings that gives us temporary relief from the mundane. The mundane must be invaded in such a way that we do not simply return to it after a brief respite and after things are trying to sink back into “business as usual”.
