As the people of God assemble today, may they be strengthened, encouraged, equipped and comforted by the gifts of Christ (Eph.4:11-12) and the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1Cor.14:3) for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

(Kathy Gabler) I was talking to Melissa about the revelation I had gotten about the “power of the air.” Before I could tell her about it, she said, “Mom, there is something in the air. I have been pacing restlessly for the last three days 
because of what I am sensing.” I then told her about the insight on Eph. 2:2. That confirmed the warfare status. She responded, “We can’t be intimidated by principalities. The problem is we feel we have to go after the whole thing, but we don’t.” All we have to do is just pierce the piece God points out. She said it is like a Jenga game. Just pull the precise piece that is your part of the tumbling of a principality. I came away equipped with a solid battle strategy: don’t be overwhelmed by the size or tenure of the enemy, just pull the piece God points out . . . or just thump the highlighted domino.

Even as God promised Jeremiah that He would reverse the disastrous effect upon Jerusalem, He will reverse the disastrous events befalling our nation and our families. “Call upon Me and I will” (Jer.33:3) is proof positive that our prayers can affect and turn around a city, a nation, a church and a family and descendants. We must move away from other influences in order to call upon God in heaven for His Kingdom to come into earth (Matt.6:10).

IF…. THEN…. in the Bible is significant. 2Ch 7:14 IF My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from 
heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. (Amp) A primary thing must take place so that a secondary thing can. God is saying, “Seek Me, call unto Me so I can show you things to do and empower you to do what you have never done.” But, if we continue to seek man and call unto man, man will show us things that are within his grasp and understanding. Man will offer you things out of the trove of his poverty of human experience. The answers we need in our lives and in this present world situation far exceed the ability of human reason, religion, politicians and special interest groups. The reason we have not experienced some of the great promises and provisions of God is not because we have never heard of them, rather it is because they have been displaced by 1.) fear of things beyond our experience and 2.) unbelief and 3.) the influence of people and things that are not righteous. Shuffling people in and out of political office and just throwing more money at issues is settling for, at the very least, miserable facsimiles of the righteous solutions available from the throne of God. Those throne solutions will be completely different from our tried-and-failed standbys.

(Melissa Gabler) – It’s interesting how we’ve had a zombie craze over the last 8 years. Hmmm, the virus exposed itself! We are surrounded by the broken that are driven by a poisoned inoculation. Here’s the beauty, we have the antidote! So, “Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them [by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character]; for it is disgraceful even to mention the things that such people practice in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light [of God’s precepts], for it is light that makes everything visible. For this reason He says, ‘Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light.’” (Ephesians 5:11-14 AMP)

Prayer is a great avenue for moving what is in heaven into earth. In a voice of command, the Lord God spoke to Jeremiah and required that he “call unto” Him (Jer.33:3). Calling unto God has a purpose. It was not a religious exercise 
that God wanted to observe Jeremiah busy with. God said, “Call unto me AND I will answer.” It would be in agreement with what God fully intended to do in the earth. God must agree with Himself and with His Word, His will, His plan. God is not without purpose, not without a plan; but there are times when God has been without someone to stand in the gap calling upon Him to move power and authority from heaven into the earth. Eze 22:30 “I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one. Ezekiel does not say that a large company is required but, in v.30, ONE will do. Lk 18:1 ALSO [Jesus] told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward (faint, lose heart, and give up). (Amp) 1Ti 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. (Kathy Gabler) I have been seeing God’s hand moving behind a curtain on a stage. That has kept me anticipating the curtain rising in my understanding. Little by little an expectation has grown in me that we are about to see many things the Holy Spirit has been adjusting, rearranging, developing, redeeming, restoring and maturing. I don’t think there will be some colorful, feel good, fairytale play behind those curtains, rather a stage set with details that bring clarity and a God-perspective that equips us, literally showing us another way to think and perceive and prevail. I have a feeling the curtain will rise on insights that adjust our mode of operation and strategies and change our outcomes.

As the people of God assemble today may the strength of the name of the Lord fill them with overcoming vitality. May they realize they have a friend that sticks closer than a brother and that He is the strong one standing with them and upholding them by His powerful right hand. Ps.63:8, Amp – “My whole being follows hard after You and clings closely to You; Your right hand upholds me.”
(Kathy Gabler) I have been seeing God’s hand moving behind a curtain on a stage. That has kept me anticipating the curtain rising in my understanding. Little by little an expectation has grown in me that we are about to see many things the Holy Spirit has been adjusting, rearranging, developing, redeeming, restoring and maturing. I don’t think there will be some colorful, feel good, fairytale play behind those curtains, rather a stage set with details that bring clarity and a God-perspective that equips us, literally showing us another way to think and perceive and prevail. I have a feeling the curtain will rise on insights that adjust our mode of operation and strategies and change our outcomes.
