The awesome contrast of the LOVE of JESUS stands out vividly and most significantly in history. It stands out noticeably in comparison to the harsh government and 
rulers and culture of that time. Political rulers and military were cruel and unforgiving while religious rulers were stiff and legalistic, meting out punishment without mercy. Jesus walked among the people, talked with them, touched them and wept over them–all motivated by His love and compassion. His signs and wonders never benefited Him, only those He lovingly touched. I suppose that if we look at the life, motivation and actions of Jesus, we would come to the conclusion that the definition of love is “redemptive action.”

It’s interesting how we’ve had a zombie craze over the last 8 years. Hmmm, the virus exposed itself! We are surrounded by the broken that are driven by a poisoned inoculation. Here’s 
the beauty, we have the antidote! So, “Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them [by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character]; for it is disgraceful even to mention the things that such people practice in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light [of God’s precepts], for it is light that makes everything visible. For this reason He says, ‘Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light.’” (Ephesians 5:11-14 AMP)

As the people of God assemble today, may they consider the Word of God that is alive and active, and take hope in the fact that the Word of God cannot be anything else but alive and active. May they 
realize the value of imparting that alive and active Word in the lives of others so that they may see the awesome effect of that which does not return void.
”For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Heb.4:12, Amp)

Some can make purpose sound quite individualistic and quite self-oriented when, in fact, each of us is part of something that is bigger than we are. As Christians, we are part of the Kingdom of God; we are part of a great plan of God that has been intricately designed from before the foundation of the world. Added to the dimension of personal struggles and concerns 
is the dimension that each of us has a part to play out in that great design (cf. Eph 2:1-10). Individuals who stay the course will have an effect on many others and individuals who do not stay the course will also have an effect. When Apostle Paul reported to Timothy that Demas, having loved this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica (2Tim 4:10, NAS) that carries with it much more weight than the ounces of mere ink and paper it was written on. It is obvious that Demas, after some amount of consideration and deliberation about something or someone in this present world system, simply decided not to stay the course. No doubt, from his point of view, he had simply changed his mind about a previous commitment but Demas was part of something bigger than himself. His commitment to Paul was a commitment to God; not simply a commitment to “a man who put his pants on just like everyone else.” Not only did Demas forsake his post of duty and leave that vacant but it had a significant effect upon Paul’s ability to get his duty done and that had an effect upon the churches Paul was attempting to bring along to maturity for the furtherance of the Gospel.

There is a war in the atmosphere over our nation. It’s like a virus that causes complete irrationality brought on by the stubborn refusal to take personal responsibility. This “virus” was released by an evil agenda to build a one-world dictatorship in the “land of the free and the home of the brave”! How? By coddling, and stroking the broken. By wooing them with band-aids, and promising them “Kool-aid”. Instead of teaching people they don’t have to be a victim of their circumstances, this “virus” took advantage of their emotional state for it’s own selfish, ungodly gain. Well, guess what, “There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, [He shall rule] on the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” (Isaiah 9:7 AMP) It’s happening folks!

Have you ever been around things that were grimy or greasy? Did you notice later on that you had carried away some of that dirt and grime with you? If we don’t put some effort in taking 
precautions to prevent the cynicism and grime of the world from polluting our minds and hearts, we will eventually discover that we have taken that grime and dirt with us into relationships, our work and even soiled our future hopes. May the Lord wash and cleanse you from every failure, doubt and judgment from others so that you may enter the coming season with expectancy for the extraordinary of God. (Ps.51:7b) “…wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.” We are praying you discover daily that grime and hopelessness are not sticking to you. As the people of God assemble today, may there be an atmosphere that welcomes prodigals to experience a lucid moment wherein they come to themselves and realize that their heavenly Father’s house/family is the place of acceptance and belonging. In 2017 worship will become lifestyle. (Kid’s Declaration: 7. We will live to worship everywhere, everyday.) Worship, living for God and fear of God will become more than just a Sunday, church activity. It will become the lifestyle of families. Families will take Communion together. Parents and children will not only attempt worship activity at church, acting righteously at church, fearing God in His presence at church but in the home, in family activities, conversations and celebrations. “trying to learn [by experience] what is pleasing to the Lord [and letting your lifestyles be examples of what is most acceptable to Him—your behavior expressing gratitude to God for your salvation].” (Eph.5:10, Amp)

The first man seen in London with an umbrella was stoned. He refused to continue to succumb to the elements and connected himself to a higher level of dealing with those things that affected his health. Unfamiliar things signaling progress from an age to come were feared and not welcome. Those who had no desire to connect any differently, who did not intend to change, violently rejected such a practical approach. Jesus said, (Jn.15:5) ”I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing.” Jesus wants to be connected to us. rulers and culture of that time. Political rulers and military were cruel and unforgiving while religious rulers were stiff and legalistic, meting out punishment without mercy. Jesus walked among the people, talked with them, touched them and wept over them–all motivated by His love and compassion. His signs and wonders never benefited Him, only those He lovingly touched. I suppose that if we look at the life, motivation and actions of Jesus, we would come to the conclusion that the definition of love is “redemptive action.”

So, “Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them [by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character]; for it is disgraceful even to mention the things that such people practice in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light [of God’s precepts], for it is light that makes everything visible. For this reason He says, ‘Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine [as dawn] upon you and give you light.’” (Ephesians 5:11-14 AMP)

is the dimension that each of us has a part to play out in that great design (cf. Eph 2:1-10). Individuals who stay the course will have an effect on many others and individuals who do not stay the course will also have an effect. When Apostle Paul reported to Timothy that Demas, having loved this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica (2Tim 4:10, NAS) that carries with it much more weight than the ounces of mere ink and paper it was written on. It is obvious that Demas, after some amount of consideration and deliberation about something or someone in this present world system, simply decided not to stay the course. No doubt, from his point of view, he had simply changed his mind about a previous commitment but Demas was part of something bigger than himself. His commitment to Paul was a commitment to God; not simply a commitment to “a man who put his pants on just like everyone else.” Not only did Demas forsake his post of duty and leave that vacant but it had a significant effect upon Paul’s ability to get his duty done and that had an effect upon the churches Paul was attempting to bring along to maturity for the furtherance of the Gospel. 
There is a war in the atmosphere over our nation. It’s like a virus that causes complete irrationality brought on by the stubborn refusal to take personal responsibility. This “virus” was released by an evil agenda to build a one-world dictatorship in the “land of the free and the home of the brave”! How? By coddling, and stroking the broken. By wooing them with band-aids, and promising them “Kool-aid”. Instead of teaching people they don’t have to be a victim of their circumstances, this “virus” took advantage of their emotional state for it’s own selfish, ungodly gain. Well, guess what, “There shall be no end to the increase of His government and of peace, [He shall rule] on the throne of David and over His Kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time forward and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this.” (Isaiah 9:7 AMP) It’s happening folks!
touching someone else’s life with the compassionate heart and redemptive power of the Lord Jesus Christ. May the Lord grant you wisdom in your mind, purity in your heart and power in your hands to be and do all that He has mandated you to do in a lifetime. Here’s what you need to know first and foremost: YOU are important, YOU have a piece that the rest of us need, YOU have a gift and skill combo no one else has, YOU will live and not die, YOU are created for His glory, and all of these things are His original intent for you! Now that that is in the atmosphere let’s talk about life in the season ahead.
precautions to prevent the cynicism and grime of the world from polluting our minds and hearts, we will eventually discover that we have taken that grime and dirt with us into relationships, our work and even soiled our future hopes. May the Lord wash and cleanse you from every failure, doubt and judgment from others so that you may enter the coming season with expectancy for the extraordinary of God.
