So many people have been talking about how dark the world is getting. Many are very worried and some don’t hesitate to express their deep fears. One Christian I was told about recently can’t sleep and it is affecting their health. BUT I think I found a SECRET in John 8!! ”Jesus said to the people, “I am the Light of the world. So if you follow me, you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, for living light will flood your path.” (Jn.8:12, LB)

A few years ago at a conference I discovered that you could call in a church growth specialist for $20,000 and he would set your church on a program that would insure steady growth. Recently a friend told me that their church paid a church growth specialist $40,000 to train the staff and members but, because of various unavoidable incidents, the program never was implemented. Fear of the perceived possibilities of dark calamity and destruction of society and cherished comfort zones pervades pulpits, parishioners and personal lives. BUT, wait, I think I found a SECRET in John 8! ”Jesus said to the people, ‘I am the Light of the world. So if you follow me, you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, for living light will flood your path.’” (Jn.8:12, LB) The greater the darkness, the brighter the light. You cannot turn on darkness and get light to flee but you can turn on light and watch darkness flee.

Circumstances must come together in such a way that Pharaoh’s snakes can be drawn out into the open, so they can be swallowed up in order to set the pattern for what is to come in the deliverance process. If those events do not come about, the snakes will stay in their hiding place.
