I am still standing on this Scripture for my household (my whole family), that the life-giving Message of Holy Scripture will save them all (Acts 11:14). And that the Holy Ghost would fall on them (v.15) so that those watching their lives might glorify God (v.18).
“He will give and explain to you a message by means of which you and all your household [as well] will be saved [from eternal death].” (Acts 11:14, Amp)

On a recent Sunday, I was caught up in the sounds that seemed to beat with the pulse of God and my spirit was stirred. Melissa began to 
prophesy in song. The words whirled within me, round and round, “Hallelujah, You make all things new and You will come like the rain. So, let it rain, let it rain, let it rain.” At first, I could not explain the tears spilling onto my cheeks nor the strange mixture of gratefulness and anticipation tumbling inside my chest. Then my understanding began to open with the next words she sang, “Go look again, go look again. Is the sky clear over you? Then go look again. Is the sky clear over you, no sign of rain over you? Go look again because it’s the year of the cloud. It’s the year of the cloud the size of a man’s hand.” (1Kings 18:44)

How often do we give consideration and priority to the named thing that is against us? We give our thoughts and emotions to the illness and speak of it, then we put our thoughts and hopes on treatments. We give our attention to the financial threat that looms over us and then we put our thoughts on a possible raise or some sort of financial windfall. We worry about a loved one or a friend and long for the day they surrender to the LORD. But we would do well to give priority to consideration of the Name of the LORD. His Name speaks of His capabilities, who He is and His character. While we are concerned about the other things and people, let’s first consider the Name of the LORD, call on the Name, and then approach the situation with the assurance of His intervention that glorifies His Name.
“Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” (Ps.124:8, NKJV)

Prophets carry a lot of “wait” in the earth. It seems they are always waiting to see what they’ve seen, touch what they have felt and hear what they have heard. TIME can be the most dreaded or most beloved four-letter word. So, nothing thrills me more than when God’s due-time converges with His plans and projects and processes in our lives.

When God has given us a promise and witness by the Holy Spirit (2Cor.1:22), why then do we get discouraged or give up? The witness has not been removed. It is, however, that we are now looking at and listening to that which we perceive has interrupted or canceled promise.
There seems to exist some perverted rule which says, “That which bullies its way in gets to stay.” Those defeating thoughts and doubts which demand to be considered begin to take the forefront and will eventually replace the words and witness of promise. It is that prophetic gift which comes to remind us that God’s Word holds the highest priority of consideration. We must ask ourselves, “What has priority? What is worthy of our focus? What will destroy promise? What will sustain promise? What will launch me into the season I belong in? And which am I entertaining?”

When God gives a promise He gives a witness of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. “He… put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come” (2Co 
1:22). We allow pressures and delay to smother the witness, of the Holy Spirit, to promise. When we are on our way to the fulfillment of promise and the wind is not at our backs, the tendency is to turn around and go back so that we are not opposed by the wind. Rowing with the wind is much easier than rowing against the wind. But winds of opposition will come from the enemy because he does not want the promise of God to be fulfilled in us. If it is fulfilled in us it will not only revolutionize our lives but it will also bless those around us. It will advance the Kingdom of God. The wind will resist our shifting into a new season.

That “BID me COME to You on the water,” was a cry of DESTINY coming up from Peter’s spirit . . . An inner YEARNING to do what JESUS was doing. An inner KNOWING he was born to walk on water.
That “BID me COME” (Matt.14:28) is in the heart of all of us. It’s DEEP calling unto DEEP. It’s in our spiritual DNA because . . . God created us to be SONS that walk in Dominion.
There is no need for us to live a watered-down version of what God had in mind for our lifetime. The only way we will leave a wimpy or skimpy heritage, is if we ignore or suppress that which is inside us . . . “LORD, BID me COME to You on the water.”
I’m obviously no 20-something, so why am I talking about taking dominion at my age . . Because “BID me COME” will trump age. “BID me COME” will trump sickness & disease. “BID me COME” will trump past failures & defeats. And every disorder we bring into Heaven’s order is the Kingdom of God advancing in the earth.
We were born to walk in the authority that trumps all things. “You don’t understand what I am up against.” No, I don’t, but I know His “COME ON” is bigger . . . Besides, when you’re walking on water, it doesn’t matter if it’s 2ft. deep or 20ft. deep.

When Jesus came walking on the water (ruling over the very circumstances plaguing them), “they screamed out with fright” 
(Matt.14:26, Amp) They could not conceive, in this condition, the possibility of Jesus being the one walking on the water. There isn’t even any evidence that they are attempting to bale water out of the boat. They are now operating on fore-gone conclusions and it has left them in nonproductive panic.
The miracle of provision they had just witnessed (feeding of 5,000+ with 12 baskets of leftovers) was forgotten with their focus on the present negative factors. Their hearts are very troubled and they are very unproductive. Is it more difficult for Jesus to calm wind and waves than it is to multiply a little boy’s lunch to feed 5,000+? Is it more difficult to walk on 300-foot-deep water than to walk on 3-foot-deep water? Has He stopped working miracles because “this is now and that was then”? The same authority and power applied to loaves and fishes gets the same results when applied to wind and waves!

Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. If our Father’s will be done on earth–at least–as it concerns me, as concerns my family, as concerns my church–it will affect my environment.

When Jesus told His disciples to go to the other side of the lake, the hard facts the disciples focused on, once out on the water in the storm, were (Matt.14:22-27): 1.) it was night-dark 2.) they were a great distance from land 3.) the boat was beaten by waves 4.) the wind was against them—blowing the opposite direction they were supposed to go. We must beware of reaching a point that we are merely dwelling on just the facts. These may be the present facts but they are not the conclusion of the matter. In the Bible, present facts and final conclusions always looked very different from one another.

“There will be no end to the increase of His government” (Isa.9:7) There is always a point at which the rule of God, the government of God, can increase in our lives and there is always a point at which it can increase through our lives into the environment He has put us in.
Consider that David advanced from dealing with sheep to dealing with a lion, then to a bear, then to a dysfunctional king, then to Goliath, then to the throne of Israel, then to facilitating the building of the Temple. The Kingdom of God–the rule of God, the authority of God–advanced IN David and then THROUGH him affecting his environment.

How do we, in a time of need, suddenly stop the negative and suddenly begin authoritatively operating in the power of the Throne? 
How do we, in a season-shift, push down the troubling aspects of our environment and see what the Father is doing and do what the Father is doing in spite of those elements? We can immediately go to panic, to fear, to flight but our emotional make-up is such that we require a period of time before turning to the positive. I have seen deer in the wild that were perfectly at peace, grazing and resting. But, suddenly, there is a noise and they jump and snort and run. Then they stand around stomping and snorting and looking at each other and looking all around their environment. They eventually settle back down but the operative word here is “eventually.” It only takes one deer to keep the rest from settling back down and all the rest will run and abandon food and rest because of the one. How do we turn it around in our minds? We “be not conformed” (Rom.12:2). We do not allow ourselves to be pressed into the mold of present circumstances. We submit our minds to be transformed by the Word of God. Applied to the correct report, we can renew our minds. If we neglect knowing the intentions of the King for this season of history, we cannot be transformed into the mindset that cooperates with and gets the results of His Kingdom intentions.

In spite of the angle of descent of morals and values, in spite of what the world money market looks like, in spite of what the state of the union looks like, we stand on the brink of a destiny that our forefathers never imagined. But it will require our moving from waiters and observers to acting. It will require shifting, transition and intense exertion; the “violent” action of Matt.11:12 which means “intense exertion.” It is not violent in the sense of doing persons harm but in the sense of putting forth effort in opposition to things that oppose purpose. We must oppose darkness like opposing a rattlesnake trying to crawl up in our bed.

Satan’s only authority acted out in this earth is by our permission or our malfunction or our neglect. We neglect to “let not our heart be troubled” and we neglect to speak out words of life. We make a big mistake and forfeit a major key when we neglect to declare the known will of God.

By looking around us today, by looking at the recent past and even the distant past, how is it that we can decide what tomorrow is going to be? There are things in the plans of God that have not yet been formed that will be our answer. Elijah’s servant went down to the sea seven days in a row before he saw what had not been formed the day before or the previous five before that (1K.18:44).
“You have heard [these things foretold], now you see this fulfillment. And will you not bear witness to it? I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve] which you have not known.
7 They are created now [called into being by the prophetic word], and not long ago; and before today you have never heard of them, lest you should say, Behold, I knew them! (Isa.48:6-7, Amp)

On a recent Wednesday night Melissa quoted some university level research. The claim is that the typical person experiences 1200 
words per minute of “self talk.” The average person subconsciously hears 1200 words a minute of self-talk going on in their mind and 1100 of those words are negative in most people. That should give us pause for thought.
Negative thoughts disempower us. They remove the productivity of positive words that we have received in the past. We must break agreement with the enemy and “let not our hearts be troubled.” If Jesus commanded us to “not let our hearts be troubled” then we have the ability to not let our hearts be troubled. He would not command us to do something we could not do.

I think we have probably messed up a breakthrough or two that the Lord was wanting to get through to us. It is likely that we have tended to block its progress by simply agreeing with the Accuser that we don’t deserve it. It is like putting out one hand (close to our body) palm-up to receive and stretching out the other arm with the hand in a blocking fashion. But I declare in this coming season, we will simply stand on our Lord’s mercy and compassion and we are going to get into full agreement with breakthrough.
“And David came to Baal-perazim, and he smote them there, and said, The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like the bursting out of great waters. So he called the name of that place Baal-perazim [Lord of breaking through].“ (2Sam.5:20, Amp)

What are we putting into the atmosphere? The prime reason Jesus knew that He must help the disciples reach a point of not being troubled (Jn.14:1) is because when people are troubled, they talk like they are troubled. That kind of talk is contagious. Talk that is troubled is anything but productive.

May the Lord deliver people from a spirit of covenant-breaking. May those who are under delusion to break marriage covenant, and relationship covenants that God has ordained, be awakened to their commitments to God, spouses, children and God-purposed relationships. May they boldly move away from the destructive precipice edge that affects many lives (not just their own). May the breaches be healed and the hurts be soothed. May God’s love prevail and may decisions be made today that honor Almighty God and His Word.

I am still standing on this Scripture for my household (my whole family), that the life-giving Message of Holy Scripture will save them all (Acts 11:14). And that the Holy Ghost would fall on them (v.15) so that those watching their lives might glorify God (v.18).
prophesy in song. The words whirled within me, round and round, “Hallelujah, You make all things new and You will come like the rain. So, let it rain, let it rain, let it rain.” At first, I could not explain the tears spilling onto my cheeks nor the strange mixture of gratefulness and anticipation tumbling inside my chest. Then my understanding began to open with the next words she sang, “Go look again, go look again. Is the sky clear over you? Then go look again. Is the sky clear over you, no sign of rain over you? Go look again because it’s the year of the cloud. It’s the year of the cloud the size of a man’s hand.” (1Kings 18:44)
How often do we give consideration and priority to the named thing that is against us? We give our thoughts and emotions to the illness and speak of it, then we put our thoughts and hopes on treatments. We give our attention to the financial threat that looms over us and then we put our thoughts on a possible raise or some sort of financial windfall. We worry about a loved one or a friend and long for the day they surrender to the LORD. But we would do well to give priority to consideration of the Name of the LORD. His Name speaks of His capabilities, who He is and His character. While we are concerned about the other things and people, let’s first consider the Name of the LORD, call on the Name, and then approach the situation with the assurance of His intervention that glorifies His Name.
Prophets carry a lot of “wait” in the earth. It seems they are always waiting to see what they’ve seen, touch what they have felt and hear what they have heard. TIME can be the most dreaded or most beloved four-letter word. So, nothing thrills me more than when God’s due-time converges with His plans and projects and processes in our lives.
When God has given us a promise and witness by the Holy Spirit (2Cor.1:22), why then do we get discouraged or give up? The witness has not been removed. It is, however, that we are now looking at and listening to that which we perceive has interrupted or canceled promise.
May the Lord bless His people today. May they be kept in safety and, LORD, in your envelope of love and favor. May their efforts to get their job done be effective beyond the energy and skill that they put into it because they and their righteous efforts are blessed by the touch of your hand. May they sense the companionship and help of your precious Holy Spirit with everything they face and everyone they must deal with today.
1:22). We allow pressures and delay to smother the witness, of the Holy Spirit, to promise. When we are on our way to the fulfillment of promise and the wind is not at our backs, the tendency is to turn around and go back so that we are not opposed by the wind. Rowing with the wind is much easier than rowing against the wind. But winds of opposition will come from the enemy because he does not want the promise of God to be fulfilled in us. If it is fulfilled in us it will not only revolutionize our lives but it will also bless those around us. It will advance the Kingdom of God. The wind will resist our shifting into a new season.
That “BID me COME” (Matt.14:28) is in the heart of all of us. It’s DEEP calling unto DEEP. It’s in our spiritual DNA because . . . God created us to be SONS that walk in Dominion.
(Matt.14:26, Amp) They could not conceive, in this condition, the possibility of Jesus being the one walking on the water. There isn’t even any evidence that they are attempting to bale water out of the boat. They are now operating on fore-gone conclusions and it has left them in nonproductive panic. 
Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. If our Father’s will be done on earth–at least–as it concerns me, as concerns my family, as concerns my church–it will affect my environment.
When Jesus told His disciples to go to the other side of the lake, the hard facts the disciples focused on, once out on the water in the storm, were (Matt.14:22-27): 1.) it was night-dark 2.) they were a great distance from land 3.) the boat was beaten by waves 4.) the wind was against them—blowing the opposite direction they were supposed to go. We must beware of reaching a point that we are merely dwelling on just the facts. These may be the present facts but they are not the conclusion of the matter. In the Bible, present facts and final conclusions always looked very different from one another.
“There will be no end to the increase of His government” (Isa.9:7) There is always a point at which the rule of God, the government of God, can increase in our lives and there is always a point at which it can increase through our lives into the environment He has put us in.

How do we, in a season-shift, push down the troubling aspects of our environment and see what the Father is doing and do what the Father is doing in spite of those elements? We can immediately go to panic, to fear, to flight but our emotional make-up is such that we require a period of time before turning to the positive. I have seen deer in the wild that were perfectly at peace, grazing and resting. But, suddenly, there is a noise and they jump and snort and run. Then they stand around stomping and snorting and looking at each other and looking all around their environment. They eventually settle back down but the operative word here is “eventually.” It only takes one deer to keep the rest from settling back down and all the rest will run and abandon food and rest because of the one. How do we turn it around in our minds? We “be not conformed” (Rom.12:2). We do not allow ourselves to be pressed into the mold of present circumstances. We submit our minds to be transformed by the Word of God. Applied to the correct report, we can renew our minds. If we neglect knowing the intentions of the King for this season of history, we cannot be transformed into the mindset that cooperates with and gets the results of His Kingdom intentions.
In spite of the angle of descent of morals and values, in spite of what the world money market looks like, in spite of what the state of the union looks like, we stand on the brink of a destiny that our forefathers never imagined. But it will require our moving from waiters and observers to acting. It will require shifting, transition and intense exertion; the “violent” action of Matt.11:12 which means “intense exertion.” It is not violent in the sense of doing persons harm but in the sense of putting forth effort in opposition to things that oppose purpose. We must oppose darkness like opposing a rattlesnake trying to crawl up in our bed.
Satan’s only authority acted out in this earth is by our permission or our malfunction or our neglect. We neglect to “let not our heart be troubled” and we neglect to speak out words of life. We make a big mistake and forfeit a major key when we neglect to declare the known will of God.

By looking around us today, by looking at the recent past and even the distant past, how is it that we can decide what tomorrow is going to be? There are things in the plans of God that have not yet been formed that will be our answer. Elijah’s servant went down to the sea seven days in a row before he saw what had not been formed the day before or the previous five before that (1K.18:44).

I think we have probably messed up a breakthrough or two that the Lord was wanting to get through to us. It is likely that we have tended to block its progress by simply agreeing with the Accuser that we don’t deserve it. It is like putting out one hand (close to our body) palm-up to receive and stretching out the other arm with the hand in a blocking fashion. But I declare in this coming season, we will simply stand on our Lord’s mercy and compassion and we are going to get into full agreement with breakthrough.
What are we putting into the atmosphere? The prime reason Jesus knew that He must help the disciples reach a point of not being troubled (Jn.14:1) is because when people are troubled, they talk like they are troubled. That kind of talk is contagious. Talk that is troubled is anything but productive.
May the Lord deliver people from a spirit of covenant-breaking. May those who are under delusion to break marriage covenant, and relationship covenants that God has ordained, be awakened to their commitments to God, spouses, children and God-purposed relationships. May they boldly move away from the destructive precipice edge that affects many lives (not just their own). May the breaches be healed and the hurts be soothed. May God’s love prevail and may decisions be made today that honor Almighty God and His Word.
