From Burdened To Rest

MARTY GABLER—Moving From Burdened To Rest—Rest is not giving up and flopping down on the ground. And after kicking and screaming until we are worn out, then lying in a puddle of tears while God, in bountiful pity, puts all the puzzle pieces in place just as we prefer them. “Rest” is not sitting down and doing nothing. After recent disappointing events in this nation, it is not time to pray less or stop praying. We must not stop assembling ourselves, must not stop giving, must not stop shining. It is time to pray more, assemble ourselves more, give more and shine more. “Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!” (Isa.60:1) “Rest” is responsibly acting in the authority we have been given; our rest is that “I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day. (2Tim.1:12) Rest is not inactivity but activity couched in a holy confidence in spite of circumstances.  “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.” (Matt.11:28)

The Unforced Rhythms of Grace

Kathy Gabler–More and more of the Ekklesia are literally getting positioned and taking ground on the Mountains [spheres of cultural influence] of Science/Technology and Family and Finance and Arts/Media.  This Awakening is exposing the undermining Goliaths, those demonic, giant systems in these mountains that are attempting to redefine every absolute and every boundary God gave man concerning health, laws, relationships and even in gender! (Take heart, Awakening will shatter the stupor and spirit of absurdity!)  I pray the Lord anoint us like David to behead the subterranean Goliaths as they fall, so that they never rise again!  This Awakening is no small thing because “The whole earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, and the world and all who dwell in it.”—Psa 24:1.  We are His Church, His Called out ones, alive for such a time as this.  We have keys to take part in this historical, ever-increasing display of His Kingdom.  And there is no need to be thinking this is all too big and too complicated for “little ol’ me”.  On the contrary, the truth is that it is beautifully simple.  Jesus put it this way in Matt 11:29, (MSG),  “Walk with me and work with me and watch how I do it.   Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.  I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.”  It’s time to trust Him and walk into a Chapter of Awesome.

What is a Prophetic Lifestyle?

MELISSA—What is a prophetic lifestyle? It is hearing and seeing God’s intention about the here and now, and what is to come on a regular basis.  Or as my Mom puts it, “PROPHETIC” is God revealing Himself, His thoughts, His will, His insights, His plans, His wisdom or instructions or warnings or the plans of hell.  Why is a prophetic lifestyle important? A prophetic lifestyle starts with a hearing ear. The statement  “He who has ears to hear let him hear” is made in all of the following passages: Matthew 11:15; 13:9; Mark 4:9; Luke 8:8; Revelation 2:7; 3:6.  To be said this many times must mean it’s rather important. This lifestyle lives in agreement with the intentions of God and stops enemy assignments from manifesting on the earth. (Come to DREAMS VISIONS PROPHECY Sept.8-10,2023 and worship with Melissa and the Grace Worship Team. She will also be speaking Sept.8 at 7pm. No Fee. Find Rest

As the people of God assemble today may they find rest unto their souls. May they exchange tears and weariness for strength and joy. May they discover that true rest is responsibly acting in the authority they have been given by their Lord and Savior and not try to live a lifestyle driven by mere desire and obligation to people and causes not ordained by their Lord. “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.” (Matt.11:28)
