Perspective Shift for This Half of 2024

Melissa Gabler—Should we maybe need to consider a Perspective Shift for this half of 2024?: Perhaps the intense nature of the end of this year is not a foretelling of the hardship to come, but rather the shedding of the things that have kept us bound to cycles of fear and failure.

Much More Intense

MELISSA—As a heads up I want to say, we really haven’t seen anything yet. Things will get much more intense, bizarre and shocking in the days and years ahead. We need to realize we are being called out of the grave but the grave does not want to let go! Going from death to life is a spiritual matter; and self-help, reasoning and logic can’t make that happen. Only the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead can make that happen (Rom. 8:11). So, to say it in a different way: things will get much more spiritual in the days and years ahead. We are going to see some stuff. We are going to be involved in some stuff. We need to know WHO we are and that is what this onslaught is teaching us. We are sons and daughters of the King, made in His image to see evil removed from and His Kingdom settled on this earth.    HOLD.

Intense Awakening

Melissa—It is starting to make sense why this awakening is so intense.  We have the opportunity to move from a substandard life to a premium life (see post on 6-21-22) if we will embrace this alarm and not press the snooze button! This moment really is an invitation to something incredible. This is an invitation to enter into and function from the fear of the Lord for the sake of the Kingdom and for His glory.  I really like the sound of that.  I really want to live that.

Intense Exertion

In spite of the angle of descent of morals and values, in spite of what the state of the union looks like, we stand on the brink of a destiny that our exertionforefathers never imagined (Jer.33:3)—But it will require moving from being observers to acting, require shifting and transition:  it’s the “violent” action of Matt.11:12 which means “intense exertion.” It is not violent in the sense of doing persons harm but in the sense of putting forth “intense exertion” in opposition to things that oppose God’s purpose. We must oppose darkness like opposing a rattlesnake trying to crawl up in our bed. We must do it for the King of Kings and for a generation. We are praying you discover daily that your intense exertion is gaining ground against darkness.
